[6.0] "My first AAW show and I was entertained. All the matches had something to offer even if a few of them was on the short-side. Matt Riddle -vs- Shane Strickland [** 1/2] You can see the inexperience, especially in Riddle, as they were going through their planned match. Some minor unnatural moment took away from the flow, but it also had its intense stuff going on between the two independent talents. Riddle being the most hyped got the win locking in the submission where Strickland almost tapped before it was properly secured. Penta el 0M (c) -vs- Brian Cage – (AAW Heritage Title) [** 1/4] Over too quick to gain any momentum regardless of them busting out some of their big moves. Had hoped for a more memorable battle between these two Lucha Underground guys, but I guess this was a solid sprint match. Cody Rhodes -vs- Zema Ion [** 3/4] Cody having a surprisingly fun match with DJ Z. He even let the guy kick out of the first Cross Rhodes! And Zema did some impressive flying in the small arena, looking good with the ROH Champion, before meeting Cross Rhodes number two. Sami Callihan (c) -vs- Rey Fenix – (AAW Title) [***] Solid indy wrestling combining two different cultures with a very strong closing minutes for a hot title change in favor of Rey Fenix. And fellow luchador and real life brother Penta el 0M looked jealous, which means we have out first challenger ready."
