[10.0] "The best finale for a tournament I've ever seen. Metalik vs. Sabre was a great way to kick off the semi finals, giving us a mixture of aerial maneuvers and technical wrestling. Ibushi vs. Perkins was the best match of the entire show, giving us the stiffest match in the entire tournament (with the exception of Gargano vs. Ciampa). It was very hard hitting and very quick. DIY vs. Dar/Alexander was a great non tournament tag match that was face paced and exciting. Perkins vs. Metalik was the best possible ending that match could've gone. Both men looked extremely resilient and strong after their semi finals matches and it worked so well. Definitely worth a watch."

[10.0] "The perfect card and event to end what has been a fantastic tournament. This had everything you that is needed to make the perfect end. Any of the four could have gone on to be clear and deserved winners so not knowing how it would go massively draws you in. The opening bout between Gran Metalik & Zack Sabre Jr sees the mix of styles mould so well, which makes the perfect Cruiserweight bout. Where as the TJP vs. Ibushi sees the favourite go out in the semi's and the momentum behind TJP bring so much to it. The tag team match was perfection, the established DIY facing the fan favourite of Cedric Alexander teamed with the youngster Noam Dar. But the star attraction was the main event, the final of the Cruiserweight Classic! Both superstars did fantastic and the match is one of the most gripping I can remember watching! Bravo!"

[10.0] "This may be my favourite WWE produced show ever. At under two hours long, it flies by and all matches deliver, with Ibushi vs TJP being one of the best matches in the company for that year. If I were to have any complaints it would be that the final itself was just good, as normally final matches are amongst the best of the tournament, which wasn't the case here, but other than that this was a very good show."

[9.0] "Lots of good stuff on the show. Like everyone else, I thought Perkins/Ibushi was the best match, a true classic. Every match was good really, Perkins doesn't look like the right winner in retrospect but he did very well at the time."

[8.0] "This show has really grown on me over time. Two great semi-finals, one very good random tag-team match, and a very good final. Metalik vs Sabre had a fantastic pace that never died down and made good use of a variety of high flying and technical moves to produce many great moments. The finish was also really brutal looking. ***3/4-****. Perkins vs Ibushi was equally as great, perhaps slightly better. It was a great trading of high flying, strikes, and power moves, and although Ibushi conveyed more emotion I still thought Perkins looked great here, and Ibushi was kept strong in defeat. The intensity just increased and increased. ***3/4-****. DIY vs Alexander & Dar was awesome for its length. It was a total spotfest but very well executed and did a great job at acting as filler between the last semi-final and the final. ***3/4. Lastly, the final with Metalik vs Perkins was slightly disappointing but still very good. Metalik managed to steal the show in almost every respect, which wasn't great since it made Perkins winning the match come off as bitter to at least half of the fans, but both wrestlers looked great and put together a lot of great sequences and spots. I especially thought the finish was fantastic and totally unexpected. Perkins was hard to connect with on an emotional level all tournament-long, but it felt sweet (finally) physically seeing how much the victory meant to him in the post-match. ***3/4. A great way to close out the CWC."

The momentum from this night and this tournament could propel both TJP and the division towards a bright future . WWE being WWE as of this writing all that has been squandered . Fantastic night or wrestling . Matches worth watching : all of them and my top match was Kota Ibushi vs. TJ Perkins ."

[9.0] "For the wrestling purist, this will certainly go down as one of WWE's very best shows of 2016. The tournament concluded with three very strong semi-finals and final matches, with surprsing results (no doubt colored by Ibushi and ZSJ's decisions not to sign with WWE - I had previously had them penciled in as the tournament finalists since the brackets had been announced). While TJP was a dark horse pick for winner, I think he can be a good choice as tourney winner and "first" Cruiserweigth Champ as he has a good persona that can catch on with the crowd. It certainly shows how badly he was wasted in his TNA run. The tag match featuring some of the other tournament standouts was also fun, despite the "was that three? " ref botch. A satisfying end to a great tournament."

[8.0] "A great ending to the Cruiserweight Classic with solid matches up and down the card. One of the only major problems is that I don't believe Perkins established himself as enough of a star to make the ending feel like a big deal. I can understand why he was the winner, and why neither Ibushi nor ZSJ were in the finals."

(*** 1/2), TJ Perkins vs. Kota Ibushi, MAMA MIA This is an Awesome Match Super Intense (**** 3/4) Cedric Alexander & Noam Dar vs Gargano & Ciampa was good to fill (***), TJ Perkins vs. Great Metalik, Tremendous Match and TJ Perkins is the new cruiserweight champion, Super Deserved (****) The cruiserweight Classic is the best thing That Presented WWE This Year ! It felt like a major tournament, I hope WWE repeat next year. 10/10"

[10.0] "A great show comes to a close, and by god was it emotional. Every match was great(the tag match was ok), the TJP promo was amazing and I am already said this show ended."

[10.0] "An excellent show featuring 4 wrestlers who definitely deserved to win the trophy. While it was quite clear that Ibushi & Sabre weren't walking out as winners due to not signing with WWE (Sabre having unfinished business in Britain and Ibushi choosing to cut back on his dates to rest his neck while maintaining his match quality - something he wouldn't be able to do in a WWE Schedule), Metalik and Perkins weren't exactly secondary choices to win, as both men have put on great matches throughout the tournament, and they put on an excellent match in the finals. The tag match in between was also very good, as it showcased more of the highly impressive Cedric Alexander, the green-but-still-good Noam Dar and the rising, and very impressive duo known as DIY. All in all, it was an excellent show with an awesome reveal before the finals began."

[8.0] "A good show that I felt could have been a bit stronger. Sabre and Gran had a good match, Ibushi and TJ had the best match of the night. I was a bit disappointed by the tag match, it felt like simply a lot of moves rather than either team actually trying to win and with no stakes, it brought it down. The main event was good at times and sluggish at others. The result was not one I was particularly thrilled with as I felt there were other options that would have been more suitable to win the whole tournament. With that said, it was a good conclusion overall albeit one I expected more from."

[9.0] "It was a nice tournament, the style was really different from usual WWE product and even different from NXT. The finals deliver four good matches, and it's something special. I wished for a different ending, Sabre vs Ibushi would have been legendary. It's still good and I really love the idea about this tournament, with a strong commentary team. When you watch a lot of wrestling, you tend to get bored, or at least used to it so much that you can't get surprised really often. It was really refreshing to feel this again. Thank you CWC !"

Metalik vs. ZSJ was such a fantastic sprint styles clash of a bout between them (****1/2), Ibushi/TJP was on the same level as Ibushi's matches vs. Kendrick & Cedric, absolutely incredible (****1/2), the tag match was a nice breather after the 2 amazing tournament matches, nothing special, but it was OK (**) - the finals match between Gran Metalik & TJP was good, didn't reach the level of the semi final matches, but it was good (***). And as it did in every episode, the presentation & commentary absolutely ruled. CWC = Amazing."

[10.0] "What a finale! Great presentation and commentary. The ultimate wrestling experience. Sabre Jr vs Metalik was absolutely incredible. Intense and exciting start to finish. Finally ZSJ brought out his greatness as he seemed to coast through the first few rounds. These guys put on a top MOTT and didn't worry about a 2nd match, leaving it all on the line ****1/2. Ibushi vs TJP was another awesome match. The nearfalls were breath taking they were so close. Fun action all the way thorough. It's impossible for Ibushi to have a bad match and TJP brought his A game. TJP winning was a shock but really nice. Another MOTT contender. I will say tho, I'm prob adding a whole 1/4 just for nearfalls and emotion ****1/2. DIY vs AlexanDAR was an insane fast paced tag. Meant to be filler but these guys killed it. Dar and Alexander worked very well together and all 4 had chetmist. Everything just clicked here ****1/4. The introduction of the Crusierweight title was really great. TJP vs Metalik was a really good final. The pacing was very nice, building and building excitement to the ending few minutes. I did feel like this one was missing a bit to put it in the league of some of the other matches, but this was still great. Congrats TJP ****1/4. Easily a SOTY candidate as everything delivered and was imo over 4 stars. One of the most fun wrestling events I've seen"

[10.0] "WTF is all I can saw to the people not giving this an 8, 9, or 10. This was great. The opening match was very good and even though I am not a fan of him, ZSJ was pretty impressive. Ibushi Vs Perkins was also very good and I had no Idea who would win it was so even. Main event was phenomenal. So happy for TJP. Easily the best two hours of wrestling I have seen in a while."

[10.0] "The single best WWE special of the year and a fantastic finish to a great tournament. Metalik vs. Sabre was very good, TJP vs. Ibushi was incredible, and the Final was an awesome watch, a more than worthy end to the tournament, and a star-making performance for these two men. TJP put in some incredible work, Metalik continued to impress with creative, terrifying spots, and ZSJ and Ibushi continue to cement themselves as two of the best. Even the weakest match on the card (the tag match) is still worth watching. Thank you, CWC."
