[3.0] "Summerslam 2007 is a subpar show with short matches, unsatisfying booking, and just a paper thin roster. The main event between Cena and Orton delivered with a fun, big time feeling match, but very little else on the show lived up to much of anything. Batista/Khali had a stinker with a bad finish, HHH had an underwhelming return to the ring, and and none of the other matches felt important or had much of substance to offer."

[2.0] "Mysterio Vs Chavo was solid and Cena Vs Orton was fantastic, but every other match on the show's undercard felt like pure boring filler with the WWE IC Title triple threat and Punk Vs Morrison although both mildly fine weren't good enough to be on PPV, both Kane Vs Finlay and Triple H Vs Booker were both bad and both the WWE Women's World Title number 1 contendership battle royal and Batista Vs Khali are both just atrocious and the worst ever. Overall WWE SummerSlam (2007) is a really bad show that don't deserve to be at the biggest party of the summer."

[5.0] "This show was all over the place. A lot of decent, not that memorable matches here and there, but also two stinkers and one great bout to end the show. So first of all the women's Battle Royal was horrendous in terms of the work, as it was a cluster of all of the talentless models with Beth, Mickie and Victoria being the only ones who could actually have a wrestling match. Secondly Batista vs Khali was a disgrace with the Indian keeping his hold on Dave forever just to end the bout with a lazy DQ seconds after. The rest though was fine, but like I said nothing too special - Kane vs Finlay was decent, the Triple Threat was alright, Rey and Triple H had nice returns and Morrison vs Punk wasn't bad, but they didn't get much time. And the main event saved the show for me as it was a very good first match between Cena and Orton. Some fantastic work from Randy and a great atmosphere due to John getting mixed reaction from the crowd. So at least they ended the show on the high note, but once again there was barely any thought put into the rest of the matches."

[4.0] "I wouldn't quite call this Summerslam unacceptable, but it was one of the most flat cards you'll find. There was very little that was above average, and even the couples of matches that were above average, (the WWE and IC title matches) were only just above average. The rest of the card was average at best, with a few matches being painful to slog through. Another disappointing thing about this card is that both Triple H and Rey Mysterio returned to the ring here, and both of them had rather bland, unremarkable return matches. That's really never a good sign. This show definitely felt like a B-show. Not one of the big four from the company. I wouldn't quite call this a terrible event, but it's not one I can find anyone having much of a reason to go back to."

[4.0] "This is one of the worst summerslam matches of all time which is a same this is because the talent wwe this ppv has so many matches that just should have been on a tv show not a ppv but it also has two of the worst matches of all time it is just a bad show the only thing worth watching is the main event the rest you can just skip. The other positive is that the show set up is one of the best designs and probably the best stage for a summerslam"

[5.0] "This is a real sum-meh-slam. Decent matches are scattered throughout the card like the IC triple threat and Chavo vs Rey but there is a lot of filler here too like the women's battle royal and Kane vs Finlay, and that terrible Khali vs Batista match. There are tons of matches here that barely go over 7 mins and it's not like they're fun quick matches, they just go through the motions. Also, the beer drinking contest is a waste of time as the contest doesn't even start. Austin's appearance was fun though, I guess. Triple H's return is treated like the biggest thing to ever happen in WWE what with the video package before his entrance and the standing ovation from the commentators at the end, kinda funny honestly. A very good main event in Cena V Orton peppered in with some good to decent matches saves what is otherwise a skippable PPV."

[1.0] "What a terrible ppv ! Cena/orton was the only thing that was worth watching here ***3/4. Very good match, the best they had. Opener was okay, decent selling from kane **. 3 way was another fine match **1/4. Rey/Chavo was a pretty good match with some nice counters at the end ***. Women battle royal was trash as always DUD. Morrison/Punk was boring as hell * and the finish was very flat. HHH/Booker wasn't much better *1/4. And LOLHHHWINS. Batista/Khali was another trash match terrible DQ ending (-**). Overall an embarrassment for a big 4 ppv. Just waste of time."

Randy Orton vs John Cena is great and shows that they are the two top stars of the promotion. There are two okay matches: Rey Mysterio vs Chavo Guerrero and CM Punk vs John Morrison but the rest is bad. They could have done more for that event."
