While never a headliner, Delirious was a welcome addition to indy cards in the mid 2000s and was part of some memorable angles in places like CHIKARA. Hunter Johnson, on the other hand, is someone that never questioned anything Jim Cornette told him and was programmed to think that wrestling should be dry, flavorless, and completely devoid of anything fun. How he was able to kill Ring of Honor and then get the book in TNA is baffling."

The exact same spot sequence, the exact same comeback, the exact same match each and every time, completely content with being of one note clogging up the card. As a wrestler he offered nothing, and as a booker he offered even less. Always content with minimal effort and safe routine. Literally boring to the nth degree."

The whole presentation sucks. I don't know why the baggy pants and bare feet annoy me as much as they but that's the way it is. I can't give him a zero because he was very athletic and was involved in matches that I enjoyed. As a booker he and Bully Ray killed Ring of Honor and dating Mandy Leon and giving her a spot on the roster and prominent tv time didn't help either."

Did help build new stars like War Raiders, Dalton Castle and Hangman Adam Page. As a wrestler he was good technically and had a unique character but never got any excitement for his matches."

He's an ok worker as well, and I particularly enjoyed his WrestleMania 7 tribute match against Jay Lethal. Not much else to say about him otherwise."

[4.0] "It's difficult to rate someone who has served two vastly different functions in wrestling. As a wrestler, he's a 7. As a booker, he's probably a 1. I split the difference in my rating, although I will mostly be discussing his booking. First off, I will say that it's probably a difficult job to juggle storylines for TV, live events, and PPV, so I will give him credit for that, but I personally don't understand his booking philosophy at all. He took a company that was founded on pure wrestling and decided that the best course of action would be to cut down on the wrestling while adding lots of run-ins, overbooked finishes, and nonsensical heel turns. Whenever a match in ROH is good, it's always in spite of the booking, never because of it. Whenever a young guy gets over, he's never given a push or rewarded for it, he languishes in the same position for years. It's quite telling that ROH circa 2015 had most of the same roster as modern-day NXT (minus the Evolve guys of course) - the ROH shows back then were always considered disappointments, whereas NXT is consistently great and frequently has some of the best wrestling in North America. And no, it's not because the wrestlers have gotten dramatically better, it's because the booker isn't holding them back or ruining their matches with nonsense finishes. Delirious seems to have the mindset of always holding back until the PPVs, but then the PPVs are so overbooked and overfilled that they frequently have to cut their main events short because they run out of time."

[0.0] "The worst active booker in a Major Promotion, he is average in-ring, but his booking is horrible, put ROH in a embarassy position, bad storylines, make good wrestlers leave ROH because of the terrible booking he made. If ROH wants to be good again, the first thing they need to do is fire Delirious, plain and simple."

However, when you get poached and you're left to be truly creative, you really see how inadequate Ring of Honor has become. Pro wrestling is hit or miss but when you're missing more than house hitting the onus falls on creative. It is a shame that Ring of Honor is in such a rough spot."

[6.0] "Delirious is a strange creature, to say the least. His unorthodox style made him stand out on any card he was a part of, his matches not being the best, but always providing some interesting technical, comical or unpredictable action that differenciated itself from others. He is now a part time wrestler, but can be a good addition when there is a hole on a wrestling card."
