Almost every major main event featuring him is a slog, his politicking makes even his jobs feel hollow and a detriment to the other guy, and even his mic skills are overhyped. When he leaned into meathead plunder with Foley or was willing to actually share spotlight with a more talented friend like Shawn, he could put together some great work. But it's largely impressive that this guy managed to get NXT and then the main rosters in decent shape storywise after being such a drain on the product for years."
