[] "A solid 7/10 WWE PPV. The card on paper did not jump off of the page but the majority of the work delivered. Wasn't very keen on Orton Vs Cena but the other 4 matches I felt delivered what they needed. The US Championship was a very fun multi-man, all four men did some very strong work. Would be very intrigued by a one on one match between Fatu and McIntyre in the future. Fatu is insanely over as a face so it is hard to know what they're going to do with this Jeff Cobb arrival. McIntyre and Priest I think are heading towards one more match against each other. Knight could do with heading over to RAW and matching up with some fresh faces. Lyra Vs Becky was excellent, a genuine star making performance for the Women's Intercontinental Champion. Lyra has had an absolutely wonderful 2025, she's arguably been a top three wrestler in the WWE's Women's Division this year. Becky did some great heel work to get Lyra as over as she has been since this feud started. A star of her calibre being this selfless towards making a young talent a legit star is rare in wrestling. Curious as to where they'll go next when it comes to this rivalry. Penta Vs Dom could have done with some more time, the work in the match was quite exciting still. Mysterio has a case for most improved wrestler of the year if he continues to wrestle like he did here. The match felt electric and Dom is insanely over as a face now with the crowd. Penta has been a home run signing for WWE, good to great matches for the last few months and he has unbelievable charisma that has helped him fit in seamlessly within WWE's landscape. His next path is one where he'll be facing "El Grande Americano." The next feud for Dom as IC Champ looks to be AJ Styles. Gunther Vs McAfee I felt was better than I've seen it giving credit for. Not something I was practically interested in seeing Gunther doing but ended up a good mini-feud and match. Nice side quest to keep Gunther within the world of WWE without going for any titles. Could have arguably done with Pat receiving more decisive Gunther beating but Gunther showed again that even with his reputation as a more classical professional wrestler, he does WWE's style of "Sports Entertainment" a lot better than most within the company. Cena Vs Orton funnily was quite a solid old man wrestling contest before the final stretch totally jumped the shark. The prospect of Cena facing R-Truth for the World Title in 2025 is quite frankly appalling. It seems that they are not confident in Cena in these main-events without all the smoke and mirrors which makes the decision to belt him up as your World Champion all that more baffling.
