[4.0] "What is it with 2025 and promotions failing to stick the landing with their main events? It just keeps happening. Another Triple H B-PLE that starts off well, but as the night wears on, it gets more tired and the matches get progressively worse. Kind of like Mania 41 -- and especially Sunday -- in microcosm, really; the women put on a barn-burner, the US title match really isn't half bad, and Dominik is, as always, fun to watch. But the Gunther match ends up being awful as even the Austrian's incredible ring prowess can't make up for bad match-making, and Cena puts on another uninspired title match that ends up with silly interference. Which I could even forgive if it wasn't the third match of the night where the heel won due to outside interference. I had low expectations for the show -- after all, I remember how bang average at best the Cena/Orton rivalry was, instead of just believing the WWE's revisionist history -- and to be honest, they met those expectations. But meeting low expectations doesn't translate to a high rating. Wasn't a complete disaster; it just felt like another Saturday Night Raw more than a "premium" event."

[7.0] "They start it off trading eye pokes. It's amazing some were comparing the Cena turn to Hogan's nWo turn. The amount of heat Hogan had this far into his turn was electric. Not so much here. There are 2 guys about 5 rows back in the hard cam section who keep holding up their replica titles and flipping the camera off, it's distracting and cracking me up. The match is really active but you can see these two slowing down a bit, working very hard. An AA attempt into an RKO was so slick it took the fans a sec to understand the counter had been made. Another flawless RKO countering a Cena shoulderblock attempt. Both times he's hit it, Cena has evaded an immediate pinfall attempt, which probably means Orton isn't winning. 2 ref bumps, same ref, within minutes of each other. Scratch that, 3 ref bumps, then in the oddest spot of the night, Nick Aldis and a bunch of WWE goons run down because I guess there were only 2 referees? Orton RKOs all of them, then RKOs an interfering R-Truth. You can't make this up. Cena finally lowblows and smashes Orton with title belt just as first ref bumped wakes up to count the pin. One of the most convoluted finishing sequences you'll ever see. Maybe not so different from Hogan after his nWo turn after all."
