"Baby, I'm coming home"

[John Cena wird im Ring von den Fans mit 'boos and cheers' empfangen.]
John Cena: "Honestly, I love this. Look around and listen. I love this. All of us here tonight under one roof because we share one common interest: We love the WWE. Sure, there's folks out there that have their own favorite superstars and I quite frankly have mine. My favorite superstars: [deutet zum Publikum] Right out there. And I tell you why. Because over the years I admired your honesty. You have always been honest with me, like that guy with the CM Punk shirt on, telling me that I suck. There's a group out there that just doesn't like me. And I admire that honesty. But there's also a group out there that knows that every single time I step in this ring, I go to war for them. And I'm gonna take just one second tonight and speak to that group. I had a horrible 2012 and I constantly had to come out here and ask, sometimes beg you, to just hang in there. After disappointment and disappointment I just had to come out here and ask of you to hang in there. And you did. You did. Even amidst all of this, you did. And then moments like the Royal Rumble and challenges like CM Punk, The Rock, Ryback. Walking into Three Stages Of Hell and walking out the better man. I stand in this ring and I proudly say: The Champ is Here!

Skeptics and critics will always be there. But to those who hung in there for me, I say thank you. Thank you because tonight is not the night, that I ask you to hang in there. Tonight is a night I tell you: I feel as good as I've ever felt. And I can take care of any challenge that anybody puts in front of me. And whether you like me or don't, my eyes - all of our eyes - are focused four weeks from now. Because at Money In The Bank I will know where my next challenge comes from. Right now, I'm gonna give a message to the man lucky enough to hold on to that Money In The Bank contract: There will be no opportune time to cash in against me. If I look down and out and you walk down that aisle, thinking you're gonna steal one, think again. I will always be ready! [betrachtet den Titelgürtel] I know I will not have this forever. But I promise you: The next person to hold it, earns it! Because our time is now! Because The Champ is Here!" [Cenas Musik ertönt, wird aber kurz danach von Mark Henrys Theme unterbrochen. Henry erscheint im Anzug auf der Bühne und stellt seine Wrestling-Stiefel auf der Rampe ab. Anschließend begibt er sich in den Ring.]

Mark Henry: [an Cena gerichtet] "You can put your guard down. [schüttelt Cenas Hand und lässt sich etwas gerührt vom Publikum feiern. Cena möchte den Ring verlassen] John, I want you to stay. It's something I want to tell you, I want to tell the boys and the girls in the back. And all of you. [Henry deutet ins Publikum, Cena verbleibt auf dem Ring Apron. 'Henry, Henry'-Chants. Henry macht mit gebrochener Stimme und Tränen in den Augen weiter.]

I respect everybody that loves this business. I respect all the people that work for this company. Because I know how difficult it is. I was a seasoned veteran in 2002 when this man right here came in. [deutet auf Cena] He's doing an awesome job. ['Thank you, Henry'-Chants] I figured if y'all forget me, you'd at least remembered this coat. [verweist auf sein pinkes Jacket. 'Sexual Chocolate'-Chants] Y'all gonna have me out here crying all night. But, uhm-- John, at the rate that you're going, you're gonna be the greatest WWE Champion of all time. And if I had any regrets, any regrets at all about my career-- I've been World Heavyweight Champion, I've been ECW Champion. I've been the Strongest Man In The World. I've had a lot of success. I mean, nothing like the success that John had, but I think I've done pretty good for myself. Which, which... [Applaus] Thank you. Which leads me to the reason that I'm out here.

To formally retire from the active roster of the WWE. ['One more match'-Chant] Thank you all. 'One more match' from one of the better crowds that I've been in front of in the last five years. [Cena betritt den Ring und überreicht Henry den Titelgürtel, mit welchem er sich feiern lässt] A small town, Silsbee, Texas boy done proud. Also-- John, I'm gonna give this back. Cause this is something you gotta earn. Thank you. [gibt Cena den Gürtel zurück] I got a chance to travel the world. Twice, three times. Quadruple times over. Don't cry for me, Argentina, I'm doing enough crying for everybody. But I stand before you a proud, proud man. I'm on the road, close to 200 nights a year. To my beautiful wife, Jana. I think you will see more of me than you want to. And to my son Jacob, who is a fanatical wrestling fan. Some of y'all seen him on Twitter. And my little girl, Joanna-- [reagiert auf einen Fan] I'm not Mae Young, dummy. To my little girl, Joanna, who cries when I leave home. Baby, I'm coming home!

[Henry lässt sich von den Fans im Ring feiern, Cena ist wieder im Ring und hält dessen Arme nach oben. Cena setzt zu einer Umarmung an, doch Henry zeigt kurzerhand einen krachenden Worlds Strongest Slam. Er zieht Jacket und Krawatte aus, reisst sein Hemd auf und richtet laute Worte ohne Mikro an den am Boden liegenden Cena.]

You think it's that easy? I got a lot left in the tank! [schmeisst den Gürtel auf Cena] And that will be mine soon. [auf der Rampe mit seinen Wrestling-Stiefeln] That's what I do!"
