It's hindered a little by Cena not being able to match Punk on the mic, but at this point in time, who could? Punk makes himself the center of attention, the show, and the world here and it's a worthy follow-up to one of the most shocking promos of all time. If only they managed to stick the landing and keep things rolling with this trajectory."

Not hating on it in the slightest because it was an amazing feat to get people believing in the character"

[10.0] "I love John Cena but this promo proved beyond doubt that while he's a great wrestler CM Punk is in a completely different universe. While Cena sounded like your standard and generic tough guy ("... whip your ***", "... I am no pushover... ") CM Punk walked the tightrope between sounding like a completely selfish self-conceived twat and being the savior of pro-wrestling. Actually scratch that: he walked on that tightrope blindfolded and performed a couple of somersaults while reciting the Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner from memory. That's how good CM Punk was."

[10.0] "Absolute Spitze. Ihre Rivalität und die Story dahinter war das Beste, was die WWE in den letzten zwei Jahren vorweisen konnte."

Die Geschichte der beiden wird durch das Wortgefecht nochmal angeregt und hypt das Aufeinandertreffen bei MitB 2011 nochmal richtig gut. Hoffentlich sieht man in der Zukunft weitere so genial inszenierte Promos"

[10.0] "Auch hier zücke ich die 10 Punkte. Punk fasziniert einfach und die Klasse der Promo zeigt sich auch einfach darin, dass ein Großteil des Promovideos für MitB aus eben dieser hier bestand. Dazu kommen noch fast schon ikonenhafte Sätze wie: "In anybody else's hands, this is just a microphone, in my hands, it's a pipe bomb" oder "So Vince McMahon finally sees me for what I am, and that is the hottest property in this industry today. " Absolut klasse!"

[10.0] "Ebenso wie die anderen CM-Punk-Promos zu diesem Thema 10 Punkte."

[10.0] "Auch hier vergebe ich 10 Punkte für Punk & Cena, die einmal mehr zeigen warum sie am Mic zu den besten in der WWE gehören!"

[9.0] "Nicht so stark wie die beiden anderen großen Promos von ihm davor und danach, aber immernoch spitze."

[10.0] "Steht den anderen beiden Promos aus der Vorvorwoche und am späteren Abend des gleichen Tages in nichts nach, was man schon allein daran erkennt, dass sie für das hype video zum Match die Grundlage bildete. Punk, ganz stark!"

[10.0] "Ganz starker CM Punk, allein der Satz, der hier als Titel gewählt wurde, ist einfach nur genial. Auch Cena macht seine Sache ganz gut, auch wenn er im Schatten von Punk steht. Ich kann hier nur die volle Punktzahl geben."
