"This is a new era for the Authority"

John Cena: "The Authority is back in power. And their first order of business was to get the entire WWE roster down to this very ring, so they can address us face to face. But before they do, I like to take a moment to apologize, to apologize to all of you, to apologize to especially my- my co-workers, I think of my word as a bond and I had to go back on my word, then last week I had to bring The Authority back. I was given no choice, when Seth Rollins said he would snap Edge's neck, I thought maybe he's bluffing, maybe I can slide to the ring like a Superman and save the day in a nick of time, and then I thought maybe I couldn't. And I realized in that moment, that the health and the well-being of a friend, of a father and of a husband is much more important than The Authority being back in power. Stephanie McMahon: "You've earned it, you've earned it. But there is one other man, there is one other man that we have to thank, and that's Mr. Hustle, Loyalty & Respect himself, JOHN CENA! John, you just can't help all of these 'I'm sorrys' and what if's, I mean, last week you showed us something, you showed us your true integrity, your true strength of character, when you made a decision, to break your promise, not only to yourself, not only to the entire WWE roster, but you broke a promise to the entire WWE Universe, and when you did, John, you showed us something, you showed us, that deep down inside in your gut, you know what's 'Best for Business'. So tonight we're not gonna punish you, no, tonight we wanna honor you, we wanna show you just how proud we truly are, by declaring tonight, 'John Cena Appreciation Night'! Now John, I know you conflicted or pretending to be.
