WWE NXT North American Championship

[7.0] "It is a nice minor title for the NXT brand for those who are not on that NXT title level yet or just want to see if they are good enough for that reach yet. A lot of good matches come with this title, and it usually has a lot of interesting number-one contender matches too, but like the rest of NXT, they book the titles to feel important or prestigious regardless of how lengthy the reign is. A lot of people forget that this title has older history in the WWF but now just uses two completely different lineages. Very solid title, and hopefully used for good in the future for even more future talents."

[7.0] "Good midcard title. At times it has felt like a prop but at majority of the time it was treated correctly. A lot of the champions felt like they deserved it and match quality is usually okay."

[6.0] "Good hands have held this belt. It doesn't have the heritage that the main title has, but it's in a good position. The early years were especially fun. It has a great look for a mid card title. The name also harkens NWA titles."

[9.0] "In its golden days, it was a modern day IC title, it has always sported excellent battles with a history of great wrestler holding it."

[6.0] "Okayer Midcard-Titel für den NXT Brand, der allerdings nur für die wenigsten seiner Träger einen Sprung richtung NXT Title oder Main Roster bedeutete. Tatsächlich sind die meisten ehemaligen Champs inzwischen kein Teil von WWE mehr."

[8.0] "Overall it's a good title. It looks great, and feels important and prestigious. Some of the champions, especially during the COVID era, have left a lot to be desired, however. Gargano (second reign), Ruff, and Reed have all had very short, mediocre reigns, or in the case of Swerve, didn't defend it for 15 weeks. Hayes I feel is having a great run, with great defense after great defense so far. Sure, it's not defended super frequently, but that gives it a chance to build up stories. The first few reigns of Adam Cole, Ricochet, Velveteen, Strong, and Keith Lee were all good to great title reigns as well. The legacy has been slightly tarnished in the last year or so, but even still, this title feels important, and that's what matters most."

[6.0] "This was a good midcard title at one point in time, now it is a prop and nothing more. The Reed, Scott and Hayes reigns tanked (is currently tanking for Hayes) this title big time with poor booking and lack of exposure. I would love to see it return to where it was in the past, but I am not hopeful."

[9.0] "Was soll man da sagen. Ein sekundärer Titel, der fast genauso wert ist, wie der Haupttitel, bzw. die NXT Championship. Mit der Darstellung des Titels hat man alles richtig gemacht."

[8.0] "Design is good and unique. Also the inauguration match was epic and a 5 stars match. Only time will tell how good it will get or if it will fall from prestige and relevance."

[9.0] "I will never forget the inaugural match for this belt. Adam Cole, Ricochet, Velveteen Dream looked good with this belt."

[8.0] "It is a proper midcard title for NXT. I loved the champions, but if Priest held the title longer I would be happy."

[10.0] "Absolutely love the design of the belt, I take one look at the belt and the first thing I think of is North America and that's what you should think when see the title. It's been one of the best midcard titles in WWE rivaling that of the IC championship."

[7.0] "All the champions have been great, except Gargano that was basically a gift. Ihave no problems with a midcard title on NXT, just as long as its only defended within North America i. e. USA, canada, & mexico. which shouldnt be a problem since NXT isn't doing world tours. 6. 5 stars so far!"

[9.0] "The NXT's midcard belt is serving it's purpose. It could go down as the workhorse belt of NXT if given the chance. Although, I would like to see more midcarders chase the belt as a lot of NXT's midcard are just doing squash matches or are locked into personal rivalries, I can't remember anyone, aside from the Velveteen Dream, Undisputed Era and Pete Dunne to an extent, ever declaring their intent to capture the belt. That should help build some potential storylines in the future."

[4.0] "I believe NXT is better off without a midcard title. First of all, I don't like the name of the title. Titles named after regions don't make sense unless it has some sort of restrictions. Can only North Americans compete for it? Can it only be contested in North America? If not, then it makes no sense. Furthermore, the guys competing for it should be seen to be on the same level as the guys competing for the NXT Title. Instead of fighting over this North American Title, they should essentially be feuding to be the next number one contender for the main title. A midcard title used to be a springboard of sorts, but now it just something else to be used when writers can't think of anything better. I don't think midcard titles make sense in the context of today's product."

[9.0] "For years fans asked for a mid-card belt in NXT. I understood the argument from those who didn't want one but this belt proved that they did indeed need one. Every single match I have seen for this belt has been amazing. Awesome design too."

[9.0] "The matches surpass the look of the belt, As I am not a fan of the design, I am a fan of every match that's been contested for what feels like a genuinely prestigious title."

[9.0] "Unfassbar starker Midcard Titel von NXT! Immer sehr guten Regentschaften geilen Matches und würdigen Titelträgern. Die Storys und den Titel sind simpel allerdings sticht die Matchqualität immer heraus!"

[9.0] "Der Auftakt war fulminant mit einem sackstarken Ladder-Match. (****Ÿ) Cole ist ein sehr würdiger erster Titelträger. Ihm fehlte es nur an einer großen Titelverteidigung. Mit Ricochet wurde der Newcomer 2018 der nächste Titelträger und das in einem ebenso starken Match (****œ). Ricochet hatte dann immerhin eine starke Titelverteidigung. Im vermutlichen besten WWE TV-Match 2018. Der Three Way mit Dunne und Cole war fett. (****Ÿ) Die Stories um den Titel sind simpel, aber überzeugend. Und auch der neueste Titelträger ist absolut würdig, besorgt Gargano den ersten Singles Title in der WWE und das mit einem MOTYC für 2019. (*****) Die Matchqualität ist irre, die Stories gut, fehlt noch das gewisse Etwas, aber für ein Midcard-Titel ist der North American-Title irre stark und eine wunderbare Ergänzung für NXT. Liefert Gargano in der Konstellation im Moment eine gute Story und weiterhin gute Matches verdient er volle 10 Punkte, aber eben auch erst dann."

"In den ersten sechs Monaten wurde dieser neue Titel unfassbar gut in Szene gesetzt. Es begann bereits mit dem epischen Leitermatch bei Takeover und setzte sich fort in sehenswerten Auseinandersetzungen bei NXT, mit Cole, Dunne und Ricochent."

[8.0] "In my opinion, a great decision to create a second mid-card belt for the (currently) stacked NXT division that can serve as a storyline creator as well as a resume builder for plenty of current (and likely future) NXT superstars that either are on their way to NXT championship or still need a bit more work."
