"Genuinely shocked right now. After the ending of the white belt match, I was feeling pretty weary about Maika's chances. No way we get two refreshing champions in a single night to end the year, right? It's also 100% the right call. This was Maika's time. If it was ever going to happen, it needed to be now. Her losing at the GP Final, which had a crowd reaction that will be hard to forget, could've been absolved only if she won today. A win would be the only way to extinguish her history of failing to capture the moment as a singles competitor. Suzu could afford this loss without affecting her resume or legacy whatsoever. Maika was at the opposite end. And she did it. When wrestling is good, it's great. When it's great, it's legendary. When it can hit perfectly like this? Few things can match it."

[9.0] "The most meaningful title in joshi wrestling right now, I think a few reigns were not that good or some wrestlers were not ready to hold that belt yet. Alpha Female is overrated, the same for Toni Storm who was barely there when she was champion and although Bea Priestley ended up improving a lot she was not quite ready when she got the belt. Besides that, the other wrestlers that won this belt held it at the right time and contributed a lot to give prestige to it. The booking improved during the Bushiroad era so this title feels even more protected. When you win it, it really means you're at the top of Stardom !"

[10.0] "The World of Stardom Championship has consistently been the pinnacle of women's wrestling for around a decade, a lofty goal that even the greatest wrestlers of all time must work tirelessly to achieve and even then are required to find strong symbolic or thematic justification for their own ascension to this point before their work can pay off. Likely the best singles title in the world at this time."

Allerdings auch mit Toni Storm und Bea Priestley 2 enorm schwache und auch langlebige Champions, die dem Geschehen an der Spitze deutlich geschadet haben. Trotzdem in der Gesamtheit ein wirklich guter Titel."

[8.0] "This title is one of my favorites titles in all of wrestling. It has one of the nicest Belts (at least the old one, Mayu is currently using again, not the remake used during Bea Priestleys run) and it was very well booked for many years. I'm only giving it a 8 instead of 10 for two reasons. One is the Yasukawa-Yoshiko incident that soiled the title, although they made the right call with Kairi as the next champion. The second reason I take another point away are the two most recent Gaijin runs. The championship run of Bea Priestley was just not good (enough) compared to the other reigns, as simply Bea Priestley is the weakest wrestler of all those who had that title and the run of Toni Storm was not good as well as she was to absent for a world champion of the promotion, which of course was partly due to the unplanned title change, but was also on Stardom for not taking the title of her sooner and allowing that situation with an absent champion happening. Therefore 8/10 points for what imho is the most importat title in women's pro wrestling."

Easily one of the biggest joshi title in Japan, maybe even the biggest."
