715.03.2024ultravioletshiroi10.0Rey Mysterio will go down in history as being the single most over cruiserweight in WWE history, and one of the most likable natural babyfaces. Not only was he incredibly good in the ring, delivering great matches with just about anyone but he also had mic skills far beyond what you'd typically expect out of a cruiserweight wrestler, especially during the earlier days of WWE where the thought of a luchadore getting a main event push was unheard of. Rey helped remove the glass ceiling that held back high flyers and he deserves tremendous credit for it.
813.03.2024Nadeem Jouaneh10.0The greatest luchador of all time. Although he lacks elite mic skills, that didn't stop him from being the ultimate good babyface. The way he inspires so many kids. The way he flies all over the ring. He is the Spiderman of wrestling.

1210.03.2024Zak2210.0Look Rey dropped off but at one point (1996-1998) he was the best in the world and delivered so many damn classics, his prime might be the greatest period of any wrestler ever.
1310.03.2024Odinohka7.0Rey Mysterio is a legend, we all agree on this fact. He is capable of immense feats at his age and is very fast, very agile, very aerial. However, in recent years, his matches have become more and more similar. His limited talents on the microphone and his character which evolves very little tire me a little. Rey Mysterio no longer brings so much surprise. He's a stalwart of sports entertainment, but maybe it's time to retire by giving him one last intense and well-constructed run.

1507.03.2024mizzysha9.0Greatest high-flyer and could put on an incredible match with dudes twice his size with no sweat. I think Rey is one of the few wrestlers that became a star totally off of fantastic and innovative in-ring work. I honestly can't remember a single promo from him before his somewhat cringey rivalry with his son but he was always a huge deal when he came to the WWE and also was one of the dudes that carried WCW on his back with spectacular performances.

2416.02.2024Edgehead4Life10.0My first favorite! . Rey Mysterio is pro wrestling's Spider-Man. Seeing him leap through the air to take out his opponents with a mask concealing his identity was and always is the coolest thing. Other luchadors came before him and will after him, but I don't think any will ever influence graps worldwide the way Rey is doing. In my opinion, the greatest luchador of all time.

3101.02.2024CommisarRobe9.0Rey is so consistently good to watch. A high flyer in every sense of the word some of my favourite WWE matches have involved Rey in some capacity, with an iconic gimmick and fantastic move set and work rate Rey with likely go down as one of the best Wrestlers of the modern generation.

4017.01.2024BruceMarcos5248.0Rey Mysterio is such an enjoyment to watch. One of the best high-flyers in wrestling that I had a pleasure of watching. His rivalry with Eddie Guerrero is what hooks me to watch wrestling, so Rey has an impact of my life as well. Rey is one of the guys who broke the barriers of an ideal size of wrestlers, (e.g. Hulk Hogan, Brock Lesnar). He uses his talents and high-risk aerial maneuvers to thrive on the product in which he is successful by it. Imagine a 5'2 150 lb. guy can garner success to the then-big guy's world and has no problem with it. One of his biggest achievements of his career is when he won the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania 22. Also, one of the most respected guys in the business, especially to the Lucha Libre industry. One major problem with this guy is his promo skills, he maybe decent on some promos but most of his promos are not memorable like The Rock or CM Punk. But he is one of the guys that whoever paired an opponent with makes a match good. Certainly, most of the kid's favourite wrestler, even my favorite wrestler when I was a child. Nowadays, we have a lot of Rey Mysterio copycats in the world, most definitely in Lucha Libre, some would exceed what Rey does and some would do poorly. Just to show how Rey Mysterio influenced pro-wrestling all around the world. One of the wrestlers that has the smoothest moveset, in my humble opinion.

4602.01.2024dulonicdaddy10.0"Rey has always been phenomenal, and while put in some atrocious situations and storylines from 1999 to well ... pretty much ever since, has always felt like a star. His influence is unmatched, especially when isolated within a North American context, and his performances are almost always believable and emotive. Rey should have always been booked better, but unfortunately major promotions and fans alike have been eagerly suggesting that his clock is ticking since the late 90's. Crazy, he's still going and putting on better performances than just about anyone working that hardcam TV style. Rey's legacy is already cemented, but I wouldn't mind seeing 10 more years of him."

6019.11.2023JediSaiyanMaster120310.0Rey Mysterio is a legend all around the world, and there's a reason for it. Here we have a guy who found success in America and in Mexico just for his look (masks, to be more specific) and his in ring style, captivating audiences no matter where he wrestled. Having a successful run that got a lot of notice in AAA, went over on American soil to compete in ECW and WCW, where he got even more eyes on him, having great matches with Juventud Guerrera, Psychosis, Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko, Jushin Thunder Liger, to name a few. The less said about him unmasking, the better. Then he goes over to the WWE in 2002, back with the mask on (thankfully) doing his usual luchador thing and even taking part in the "SmackDown Six" where he had great bouts with the likes of Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Edge, Kurt Angle and Chavo Guerrero in many ways, either teaming with and/or competing against them in an incredible time period that made SmackDown the show to watch during that year. Rey Mysterio even goes on to become World Heavyweight Champion, despite his size. Sure, it's possible he got this title run because of Eddie Guerrero's death, but at least it was a big moment and it was memorable. While Rey Mysterio remained one of the most prominent acts in WWE, the last big thing before his leave of absence in 2014 was becoming Intercontinental Champion in 2009, having great matches and feuds with the likes of Chris Jericho, Dolph Ziggler and John Morrison. After 2014, he had incredible runs outside, joining Lucha Underground and killing it over there. He eventually comes back to WWE, and has had a pretty good comeback run since then, though I wish he went to AEW instead. Overall, one of the all time best high flyers, super influential to the business, you won't find anyone in the industry who hates him, his legacy speaks for itself.

6213.11.2023devourblast9.0One of the most well known and respected luchadores and cruiserweights across several companies. Has been delivering quality matches for almost 3 decades now. Really enjoyed his work in Lucha Underground working with Prince Puma and Penta in particular.

7425.10.2023theeternalsovereign8.0When I first started watching wrestling it was at a time where Rey Mysterio had already peaked and there were new luchadores and high flyers on the scene and they had a style that was faster and more jaw dropping then Mysterio That being said when he became an actobe roster member again in I want to say 2016 I wasnt super impressed or amused in comparisom to the other talent I had digested at that time. It wasnt until this year or last that I truly realized what a good performer he was. To be able to consistantly deliver high flying wrestling moves for 25 years is no small task. And to be able to make even some of the least realistic moves look like they do impeccable damage is also a skill many modern rosters players and other luchadores lack. Mysterio has proven hes not all ring skill to by delivering emotional and well spoken promos and even creating and selling some laughable bloopers. Mysterio revolutionized the Luchadore style in the american market like some sort of hispanic Hulk Hogan and to be able to consistantly enterain for so long without fail without ever becoming worse or slowing down and being convincing on every tier from tag to heavyweight deserves very high praise.

9525.09.2023bigredtalk8910.0Greatest luchador of all time, and to be honest I think he's been severely underused in recent years(and arguably throughout his entire run in WWE) the fact that he has been able to perform at a high level for so long, especially with his style and age, is mindblowing in itself. Should be used in bigger profile matches than he is, but he's still worth appreciating for however long we get to watch him perform.
