[2.0] "The actual reason I'm giving this guy a 2 instead of a 0 is because he's indeed a great technician and high flyer in the ring. On everything else related to pro wrestling, Montoya leaves a lot to be desired. To summarize this guy's antics, he is Chile's almost-equivalent version of The Fabulous Moolah. One of Revolución Lucha Libre founders, the guy ended becoming the company's promoter and main trainer, along with fellow partner Coyote. And that's where the problem began. Over the years, be became infamously known for being an incredibly corrupt promoter, an extremely abusive trainer, and his questionable leadership and business decisions ended destroying RLL's reputation and credibility among the chilean circuit. As a promoter, he stole tons of money from the promotion, scammed providers, and lied to media about actually paying RLL wrestlers. One of the most infamous incidents about him happened when the guy took a portion of RLL funds to buy a motorcycle. As a trainer, he implemented all kinds of unethical practices in his students, that included bullying, mobbing, harassing, threating, psychological manipulation, and sending his trainees to sabotage other promotion's shows. He was also known for his mysogynistic ways, treating female students like "second-rate trainees", and even making sexual advances towards some of them. For a while, RLL almost monopolyzed wrestling in Santiago; however, as years passed by, new promotions were created, and Montoya simply couldn't accept the fact that RLL was no longer the dominant force in the country. The guy isolated the promotion, and forbid his wrestlers to compete elsewhere; by the time he came to realize the damage done to his promotion's public image, it was already too late. To make matters worse, while he wasn't always the champion in his promotion, the entire RLL show was centered on his persona. His inflated ego blinded him and failed to realize that, after so many years, not only the fans were aware of his backstage antics, but were already sick of seeing him in RLL's spotlight. However, the begininning of the end for his career actually came in 2021 during the Speaking out movement. Thousands of allegations emerged about him, including his former girlfriend acussing him of mistreatment and psychological abuse. After this, his career went downhill. His longtime business partner Coyote had enough of his antics, and managed to expell him from RLL. Montoya tried wrestling elsewhere, but was met with complete distrust from wrestlers and fans. He even managed to make a one-time appearance in All-Elite Wrestling; however, not only AEW made Penta el Zero Miedo squash him during the match, but the announcement of the match itself was met with complete apathy from chilean fans. Nowadays, despite a couple of appearances outside of Santiago, he's banned in almost every major promotion in the country. While he trained many wrestlers, almost each and every one of his trainees avoid being linked to him. The most ironical part is that, despite his negative views on female wrestlers, his most succesful student ended becoming international star La Catalina. However, she has publicly distanced from Montoya, and I can't say I actually blame her for that."
