[7.0] "This was a good tag team match but I think it's very overrated here, Okada really wasted the full potential of this match. Yoshi Hashi and Elgin had a very good exchange at the beginning and at the end too. Okada, for the little time he was the legal man, was robotic and uninteresting. ***1/2"
[8.0] "Für mich ein bisschen stärker als der Co Main Event und damit auch gleichzeitig das Match of the Night. Ich war anfangs kein großer Fan von Elgin, aber er hat mich im G1 wirklich überzeugt und scheint neuerdings wirklich sein Mojo gefunden zu haben. Er passt wunderbar in die Never Openweight Division, falls er mal vor hat für eine längere Zeit in NJPW zu arbeiten. Für mich war er auch der Star in diesem Match, vor allem auch, weil man sich bemüht hat so wenig von Tanahashi und Okada zu zeigen, wie es eben nur möglich war. Trotzdem war es ein wirklich großartiges Tag Match, das unglaublichen spaß gemacht hat. ****"
[8.0] "This match was a lot of fun to watch and I really enjoyed every interaction that occurred in this match. Elgin got a lot of time to shine here, Okada was a total asshole in this match and the way he pissed off Tanahashi was just great. Elgin & Yoshi-Hashi really brought the energy to the bout and had quite the encounter as well. Overall though this was really GOOD and provided a lot of build into the main event for the Dome. ***3/4"
[8.0] "Fun match. Everybody got some time to shine w/ especially Michael Elgin getting a lot of time. And he did well. Great performance by Big Mike. The Elgin/HASHI interactions were awesome, and stood out from rest of the match, even though the whole match was pretty awesome. Not quite on the level of the match that happened before it (Nakamura/Ishii vs. Goto/Shibata), but a really good match, for sure. ***1/2"
[9.0] "Der Mainer war dann einfach mal nochmal gleichwertig. Yoshi-Hashi hat wieder super funtioniert und einfach gleichwertig mit den Big Dogs arbeiten können. Dadurch wurde das Match richtig schön spannend, intensiv und wrestlerisch klasse bis zur letzten Sekunde. So möchte ich Tag Team Wrestling sehen (****1/2)."
