Everyone got a chance to play with what they had worked with in the last couple of matches, doing new stuff as well as a handful of the better spots of the last few matches. One moment I really liked was Chaos singling out Ibushi and putting the boot to him. Chaos in general were heeling it up pretty hard. This time Tana and Okada shone the brightest, stringing together several really awesome segments throughout the match. Gedo's commentary was great (well, the excitement in his delivery was anyways, can't vouch for what he was saying but I heavily assume it was Chaos bias). Maneuver of the night has to go to Ibushi, who late in the match goes for his kick (dodged) moonsault combo, but instead hits a corkscrew splash on Nakamura. The pace picks up in a really big way near the end, with no pause until the finish. **** |
