1210.10.2021Damian7.0In my humble opinion, NXT 2.0 is an improvement over the previous version. The focus on character work and younger, fresher faces over workrate has skyrocketed my enjoyment of the show. Tony D'Angelo, Bron Breakker, Joe Gacy and Toxic Attraction are all big hits with me, LA Knight, The Way & Cameron Grimes keeping the spotlight is nice and people like Kyle O'Reilly/Ember Moon/Oney Lorcan moving down the card is the cherry on top. It's like they are booking specifically for me lmao.
1309.10.2021nWo-Joshi-Guy4.0I can see NXT becoming worse and worse until it finally gets to main roster level. This week we had loads more two minute squash matches, several people being squashed that should not even be losing. In particular Mei Ying, I mean really? whilst Ember Moon loses clean, I think? , to Mandy Rose, seriously? And a main event changed twice from what it was going to be (Vince fingerprints for sure! ).
1409.10.2021Ukrainiality Nice show. They cope with the task of developing their own talents. Bron Breakker future member WrestleMania's main event!

1608.10.2021WinGreen8.0I don't understand why this show is rated as low here. This week, NxT 2.0 is truely what i consider a very good weeklie show. NxT put on some good decisions, the best one is for the newcomers : NxT 2.0 is on the direction the became the developpemental brand they forgot to be since many years now. And yes, i can see why is dificult to understand that point, the matches lenghs is a good point here. This is not a random indy show, this need time and construction (things that easily forgotten in "modern wrestling 2.0"). I love that, and that's the weeklie that put smile on my face, the only one.

Kein schlechtes Debut.
2007.10.2021KENTAfan0.0After this event, I think it's safe to say NXT 2.0 is just a massive bust. What a huge disappointment. The wrestlers in this brand deserve so much better. Why book an incredibly promising match like Pete Dunne vs Cameron Grimes, which is fully capable of being an absolute banger, if you're only going to give them 5 minutes. This is such a joke.

2206.10.2021BUIOOMEGA6.0The show is mediocre but not so bad of course. Some good, or even very good, bouts and some low points.

2406.10.2021SZ19892.0What a dreadful show. When you are having someone like Ikemen Jiro job out to a scummy "woke" gimmick that feels incredibly forced and tired, you know things are bad.

2606.10.2021JTI5.0The only reason I'm giving this a 5 is because of the debut of our savior of NXT 2.0, Tony freakin' D'Angelo. It's such a ridiculous, absurd, cheesy, dated character that I can't help but love it, and Joe Ariola plays him with such conviction and put in a pretty decent performance in the ring to boot. The rest of the show, except for the solid main event and the criminally-short Dunne vs. Grimes, was a continuation of Vince McMahon brute-forcing his philosophy into NXT and trying to kill everything Triple H has set up. We're really gonna job out both Mei Ying AND Franky Monet in under 3 minutes? I'm still not sure who Cora Jade even is. Every time I see her on my screen I have to be reminded of who she is because my brain never bothers to remember. She's like Ann from Arrested Development for me. It'll be a little bit easier going forward now that her gimmick is essentially Disney XD Darby Allin and she's dating Buddy Murphy's Infant Son. Joe Gacy is somehow still a thing, and that big peace sign on his titantron is just so hilarious to me, an obvious assumption of what an increasingly out-of-touch, reactionary Trump-supporting septuagenarian would make about the aesthetics of "the woke left". People keep saying he might turn out like PC Principal from South Park, but even that character is too complex for someone like Vinny Mac. No, he's just going to keep having this weird pacifist gimmick that drops random woke buzzwords without any kind of depth, nuance, or self-awareness. Kyle O'Reilly continues to play second fiddle to Ron Perlman's Adolescent Son but at least he's got some modicum of agency in this storyline now. Mandy Rose And Her Merry Band Of Out-Of-Work Pornstars continue with their push (RIP Ember Moon), and I expect her eventual match with Raquel Gonzalez to be the worst NXT Women's Championship match in history, but I'll be glad to be proven wrong on that though. Speaking of pushes, Bron Breakker continues his predictable yet way-too-soon campaign toward the NXT Championship. Ciampa needs to retain at Halloween Havoc for multiple reasons. Bron has all the pieces to be a great NXT champion but needs just a bit more time to figure out how all those pieces fit. Ciampa deserves more than few weeks with Goldie and really needs to go back to his desperate, vicious heel gimmick ASAP. It would fit perfectly against this new version of NXT and lead to some really compelling stuff with that in mind. But unfortunately Vince is probably gonna hotshot this guy who is obviously a Steiner but cannot be referred to as a Steiner because Vince is petty and has beef with his uncle. I know I'm rating this episode too high, but I'm just too hyped for Tony D'Angelo, sorry not sorry. Admittedly there is some potential with this brand going forward but yeah it's pretty much just become trash. But hey at least the Diamond Mine are fucking dope.
2706.10.2021Moonvest3.0This should be a zero, as this show has become pretty terrible. But I gave it 3 points for the WCW 1992 style gimmicks, it's a bold move and one I truly endorse.
2806.10.2021kaschi7.0Fand die Show auch richtig stark und mit dem Main Event auch ein sehr schönes Match was Spaß machte.
2906.10.2021Johnny Takeover8.0Gute Show.

3106.10.2021Childofthelost4.0This is a hard show to rate. Full of squash matches and bad-good promos to build to Halloween Havoc, but so much stuff is happening that feels pointless. The tag title match didn't need to happen. Joe Gacy getting a shot at Ciampa to make it a triple threat doesn't make sense. In its current state I foresee NXT being booted back to the network soon, and that's probably for the better. They went from having a great product that naturally evolved into its own thing to backtracking to WWE Network NXT but live 2 hours full of squashes and promo practice doesn't work. This isn't 40 minutes of pretaped and edited squashes and promos to make everyone look good. Not sure why they ruined NXT but after 4 episodes and this episode especially, it's really rough. On the road to Halloween Havoc was go regardless. Ciampa Vs Bron Breakker, Raquel Vs Mandy Rose, Io & Zoey Vs Toxic Attraction, MSK Vs Imperium, Swerve Vs Santos and KOR Vs Ridge Holland seems to be where the card is heading after this show.

3506.10.2021Roodolph6.0People need to understand that it's not the old nxt. It's a whole new show. Comparing it to the old one is wrong. Anyway, too many squashes, but they are still introducing different characters.
3606.10.2021saraiva983.0This was like a whole show filled with Squashes. I am only interested in Tony D'Angelo and Bron Breakker of the new guys. Von Wagner seems awful and Odyssey is so uncharismatic... From the women only Indi Hartwell interests me.
3706.10.2021LivingLegend3.0I do not like NXT's new format of like 8 squashes and an average length main event at all. NXT since moving to USA was all about quality wrestling with maybe two squashes to build up greener talent. All of that has been switched around. Great talents like Franky Monet are being fed to people who are greener than grass, and Ember Moon has been jobbing basically since she returned. Great wrestlers like Pete Dunne and Cameron Grimes are given 5 minutes. Irrelevant jobbers were made to make me believe they could be the next tag champs. Absolute travesty how far NXT has fallen. At least the crowd was into it, I guess. NXT used to be the best show WWE had, and unfortunately, I think it is now the worst. Only Mandy Rose and Io Shirai are going to incentivize me to tune in after this disaster.
3806.10.2021Rocky74.0NXT 2.0 are still throwing everything at the wall, and only a few things are sticking. Not only that, but some of Triple H's ideas were buried here too, namely Mei Ying being beaten in a couple of minutes by Indi Hartwell, and Franky Monet losing in minutes to Cora Jade. Ember Moon took another needless loss to help build Mandy Rose up, and they're still persisting with the Fake Woke Joe Gacy gimmick. I did like the setup for Ciampa/Breakker at Halloween Havoc, and not forgetting that Swerve Scott still has the North American Title.
3906.10.2021hassan010.0Other than Grimes/Dunne , everything was disastrous and tasteless and even that match got 5 and a half minutes like what the hell are the bookers doing . The booking decisions were horrendous . They separated Indi from the way . They had Mandy go over Ember for god's sake . I was never a fan of that Tian Sha thing but to completely tarnish Mei Ying's supernatural power. She manhandled Mercedes and then loses in a squash . They had Cora go over Franky and Gacy over Jiro which is just deplorable . A very less anticipated main event with MSK retaining and a bunch of guys forcefully pushed into a match . That is probably the new NXT's mantra . I can give a 1 at max . It gave me more of a RAW episode feel with a million squash matches . Only main event was not a squash and even that was solid at best . I said I could give a 1 at max but it just brings a tear to my eye that this one absolutely marvelous brand of wrestling has turned into a pile of trash with all due respect and remorse. So a perfectly round 0 it is. My first time watching NXT after it turned into a Sunday morning 8 am cartoon with the terrible presentation and all and I promise I will never watch it again . Rex Steiner looked great though. Never gonna call him by that Bron Braeker thing.
