[3.0] "This was really uncomfortable, frankly. In terms of the promo deliverance, it was done fine and Piper has chemistry. And don't get me wrong, I love when a promo is just dunking on Vince Russo the entire time. But Jesus, where do you begin? Accusing Vince Russo of having a part of what happened to Owen Hart is something that shouldn't be in the show. The moment he says that, the crowd just goes quiet, and the rest of the promo is just in this really weird space that I don't think you could ever replicate."
[10.0] "Normally, I would rate this style of promo low because of how counterproductive it is to the storylines, but Vince Russo 100% deserved every bit of this, and that slap from Piper. While I don't agree with the Osama Bin Laden comparison and asserting he killed Owen Hart, I enjoyed almost every second of this promo."
[8.0] "Ha ha he calls Vince Russo the Bin Laden of professional wrestling. Wow that was a shoot. It was genuinely uncomfortable to watch at points. Piper proper hands Russo his arse though although did he really need to bring Owen Hart into it and you have to ask what purpose the promo served towards the show or the promotion as a whole other than shock value."
[0.0] "It was really nice to see Roddy Piper on TNA, he had an extraordinary charisma and the promo was well delivered. And yeah, Piper could be a good counterpart to Russo, but what's the point of having him here to cut a worked shoot promo that doesn't add anything to the storyline? And even worse, why using Owen Hart's death on a wrestling angle? It's just horrible. Those things shouldn't be used like that. And well, use it to put over an angle with Vince Russo, wow, there are lots of bad decisions in a short promo. Also, Why did Russo come to the ring to be stood there doing nothing until the Harris scorted him to the back? It was really weird. So, even it was a good delivered promo and Piper is great on the mic, I can't give it a good mark, because they shouldn't have done it."
[6.0] ""Rowdy Roddy Piper Dot Com" is a cool name to call yourself. That means Roddy Piper was all up in the computers and the world wide web and other such novel technologies. Now to accuse a guy of murder. The spectacle of pro wrestling is on display"
[0.0] "This promo is just... deeply uncomfortable. This is Roddy Piper speaking from a place of genuine hatred, with no attempt to advance a storyline at all (naturally, because he was only here on a book tour). It's hard to like Vince Russo on a good day, but blaming him for Owen Hart's death is beyond the pale. Served no purpose, put a damper on the events to follow, and set the crowd deadly silent. There's nothing worse can be said about a promo."
[0.0] "I cannot possibly conceive why this promo has such a high rating on this site. Maybe some people just love Roddy Piper unconditionally? Despite this being a typically coked-out Roddy Piper delivering a mostly incoherent, painfully drawn-out "worked-shoot" promo that Russo loved so much that it helped kill WCW (which they even went so far as to mention in this promo, so why bring in Russo in the first fucking place? ) this gets a zero for the pure audacity to use Owen Hart's accident to draw heat for an angle. How dare they? Just one of the innumerable, horrendous, deplorable things TNA was somehow able to get away with in its first year in existence, and it wasn't even the worst promo ON THIS EPISODE."
[2.0] "An extremely weird, rambling promo. Piper's charisma still shines through but accusing Russo of murdering Owen Hart and tying it into Russo being bad for wrestling was strange. Russo awkwardly showing up to just stand there was also super strange. I don't know what the point of this was except to let Piper just say whatever the heck he felt like saying."
[7.0] "Ich weiß nicht so recht, was ich hier von der Promo Pipers halten sollte, klar war es ein knallharter Shoot in Richtung Russo, aber das genau dann zu bringen, wenn Russo seine große Revolution ankündigt bei ROH war wohl kaum der passende Zeitpunkt dafür. Und ein paar Anmerkungen von Piper sind echt über die Strenge hinaus, hiermit meine ich vor allem die Anspielung auf Owen. Dennoch war es gut vorgetragen und man war aufmerksam als er im Ring stand, 7 Punkte."
[9.0] "Richtig knallige Shoot-Promo mit wahren Worten. Da lässt Piper ordentlich Dampf raus. Was jedoch im Eifer des Wortgefechts etwas übertrieben ist, ist der Einbezug von Owen's Tod und der Beschuldigung gegen Russo, dass dieser dafür verantwortlich gewesen sein soll."

[8.0] "Piper shootet hier teilweise wunderschoen und viele Vorwuerfe waren auch stichhaltig, wie echt das alles war sah man ja schon daran das Russo in die Halle rennt. Eins truebt den Gesamteindruck jedoch, so viele Fehler Russo als Booker gemacht hat, er ist sicher nicht fuer den Tod von Owen Hart verantwortlich."
[7.0] "Piper on fire. Definitiv eine fesselnde Shoot-Promo, die über die volle Länger zu Unterhalten weiß. Man merkt aber auch, dass die Promo ungescripted ist, vielwach redet er doch ziemlich wirr. Davon einmal abgesehen wirft Hot Rod für meinen Geschmack auch zu viele Dinge in einen Topf, die dann doch eher weniger miteinander zu tun haben, was seine Rede dann inhaltlich doch ein wenig nach unten zieht."
[6.0] "Shoot? Nicht Shoot? Buch-Promotion? Ich mag Pipers Promos sehr, aber hier redet er schon etwas wirr. Russo für Owens Tod verantwortlich zu machen finde ich schon etwas sehr geschmacklos. Jedenfalls hat Piper es damals geschafft, dass er wieder etwas Spotlight erhält."
