"You have systematically alienated any human being in your life who ever had faith in you!"

[Bully Ray is entering and intimidating the commentary team, before demanding a microphone which he receives]

Bully Ray: "Next time I tell you to give me a microphone, you do it faster! [he enters the ring] Where is Josh Alexander? I want him in the middle of this ring, right now! If I don't get a World Champion out here, I'm picking up a chair, and I'm gonna start cracking skulls in the-- [Scott D'Amore's music hits and he enters the ring to face Bully] You have something you want to say, Boss? Here, let me hand you a mic." [he drops the mic and kicks it in D'Amore's direction. D'Amore kicks the mic back and gets one of his own]

Scott D'Amore: "Big, bad Bully Ray! Look at you! I get it. You're a tough guy. You're out here calling out Josh Alexander! I don't know where you were a few weeks ago, when he was ready for you, you were supposed to be in the building then but were nowhere to be found. But now, here you are! Standing here, like a man, and calling him out! And we both know that he's not in the building, Bully. He's not in the building, 'cause I directed both of you to stay home to 'Hard to Kill', and it's nice to see that at least one of you has enough brains in their head to follow a simple instruction."

Bully Ray: "Trust me, I have brains in my head. I just don't have respect for anything you have to say."

Scott D'Amore: "Listen, Bully, I know. You don't have to listen to nobody, you don't have to do anything. You're a big, bad bully! And you like to come out here, you like to talk about how tough you are, you like to be a smartass. You're going on, you're saying 'Oh, I could, you know this, anything I do, it's your fault, you're the guy that brought me back'. And Bully, I did bring you back! I brought you back for a very simple reason. Bully, do you recall a telephone call between you and me, that you placed - not me - when you talked about being a changed man? You talked about how you were different. And you know what I thought? People can change. Hey, folks, people can change! Maybe Bully can change! I hoped you had. But I was pretty sure that there was a good damn chance that you were the same piece of shit you've always been!

But... I still wanted to give you a chance. 'Cause 12 years ago, when I left this company, when I left this industry, I went home, and for the first time in my life, I took a hard look at myself. And I didn't like who I was. And I didn't like a lot of the things I had done. But five years ago, this company gave me an opportunity to come back and rewrite my story. And I wanted us to give the same opportunity to you, Bully! And look. I wanted it all to work out, and I knew one thing: No matter what, you were going to write a very powerful story. It may be the redemption of two-time hall of famer Bully Ray... or it may be a cautionary tale, to everybody in that locker room and everybody in this industry, what happens when you're obsessed, and you do whatever you can to chase success, to the detriment of everything and everybody in your life. Your partner; your brother Devon - you turn his stomach so much that he won't even be seen in the same room with me unless somebody gives him a giant bag of money. And the last friend that you have on this planet, Tommy Dreamer, is lying in a hospital bed at your hands! You have systematically alienated any human being in your life who ever, just for a second, had faith in you!

And Bubba... at Hard to Kill, I think Josh Alexander is gonna give you the beating that you really deserve. But if I'm wrong, and I could be wrong, you're one of the best. There's some universal truths that aren't changing. At the end of that match, when Josh Alexander, he walks up that ramp, through that curtain - he's walking in to a locker room of peers that respect him. He's got millions of fans that adore him! And he goes home to a family that loves him, no matter what. But what about you, Bully? What happens to you after that match? Whether you have the Impact Championship belt with you again or not... you go back to a hotel room. You walk through that door. And you know that eerie click that that hotel door makes when it locks behind you? When you hear that noise for the millionth time in your life, you're gonna be left in that room, a sad, pathetic, lonely man, with only his thoughts around him. And that's a punishment worse than myself, or anybody else could give you."

Bully Ray: "You're wrong. That doesn't leave me sad. That doesn't leave me pathetic. You know what's going to leave me on January 14th, the night after Hard to Kill? It'll make me the 3-time Impact World Champion. I don't need your respect. Your opinion of me means nothing! Like I've done to everybody else, I used you to get what I wanted! And after years, and years, and years of doing it, you would have thought smart guys like you would have learned. But you didn't, Scott, because you're a sucker."

Scott D'Amore: "No, no, no! No, Bully..."

Bully Ray: "You're a sucker! You're no different than them, you're no different than Tommy, you're no different from that locker room. You're no different than anybody. I-- This is the most famous you've ever been in your life, because I allow you to share the spot--"

Scott D'Amore: "Bully, you're...! Oh, no, no, no, no. Yeah, you're... no, no, no. You're a tough guy! Bully, you know what you are?"

Bully Ray: [talking over him] "Oh? Why are you threat... You want to take a shot at me? You want to take a shot at me? I tell you what, I say... SHUT YOUR MOUTH!" [they slap the mics out of each other's hands]

Scott D'Amore: "You know what you are? [Bully shoves him] You're a fucking tool! You're a fucking tool!" [takes his jacket off]

Bully Ray: "What are you gonna do? What are you gonna do? What are you gonna do? [picks up his mic again] What are you gonna do? You wanna take a shot? Huh? Why don't you do it? Why don't you take your shot? It's what they want to see! Everybody - Go ahead! Punch me! Punch me in the face! Punch me in the face! Do it! Come on. They wish they could do it! They're not man enough! Nobody in the back is man enough! Do it! ['Punch him out' chants from the crowd] Go ahead! Give them what they want! Give them what they want!"

Scott D'Amore: "You know..."

Bully Ray: "No."

Scott D'Amore: "No, no, no... [he slaps the mic out of Bully's hand again] Listen to me, you piece of shit! I've spent five years cultivating a locker room to do things right!"

Bully Ray: "A locker room full of nobodies!"

Scott D'Amore: "A locker room full of people that are making a business of the world better than you, and I've taught them to do it right! But there's no reason I need to."

[D'Amore punches Bully and spits on him. As Bully is getting back up, John Skyler and Jason Hotch ambush D'Amore and hold him by the arms so Bully can kick him in the stomach. Bully hits him with a piledriver. Skyler and Hotch get a table from under the ring, and then help Bully to powerbomb him through it.]

Bully Ray: "Do you know who I am? I'm Bully Ray. Your next Impact World Champion!"
