"Brother Nero, I knew you’d come"

[Matt Hardy steht mit ausgebreiteten Armen vor seinem Haus auf dem Hardy Compound.]

Matt Hardy: "I invited all of you, the world as well as Brother Nero into my humble abode, because this day must be documented. When I sign the contract for Slammiversary it marks the inception of the Brother Nero's end days and tonight on Impact Wrestling. You will witness Brother Nero's personal armageddon."

[Jeff Hardy verlässt mit einer Crossmaschine sein Anwesen und fährt zu Matts Ländereien. Er erreicht das Anwesen als Reby Sky, Maxell vor die Brust geschnallt, sichtlich wütend das Haus verlässt.]

Jeff Hardy: "Reby, I know this is a travesty."

[Jeff läuft auf Reby zu.]

Reby Sky: "Listen, I don't care what happens to you, ok? But, whatever the hell it is I'm not sticking around for it."

Jeff: "So you're leaving?"

Reby: "Would you expect me to stick around? Matt has lost his mind. I can't talk to him. Spud can't talk to him. I am done, done with you, done with Matt. I am done with all of this. Done! Just.. I can't."

Jeff: "I'll talk to him. [Ruft Reby hinterher, die in das Auto gestiegen ist] Go! [Jeff betritt das Haus.] MATT!"

[Broken Matt Hardy spielt Piano, als er die Anwesenheit seines Bruders bemerkt hört er auf.]

Matt: "Brother Nero, I knew you'd come. You want me to sign this contract so badly. But this is about making you see the truth. I am me alone and solely responsible for all the success of the Hardy's. I built this house, I built your home. The toys that your little girls play with, it was paid for by my brilliance. People love you because you're a risk-taker, because you're a daredevil. Slammiversary will be your last appearance evah!"

Jeff: "You're crazy, Matt, but you're insane right now, man. I've heard everything I've got. My little girls play with toys that I paid for. Sign the contract, what are you afraid of?"

Matt: "I am not afraid of anything. [stellt sich Jeff gegenüber] But this is not the appropriate place to handle this. We've to go the sanctuary of our genesis. This must all end where it all began. Follow me!"

[Matt verlässt das Haus und läuft zu seiner Halle mit dem Wrestling-Ring. Er erkundigt sich bei Señor Benjamin, ob alles okay ist, was dieser bestätigt. Jeff Hardy folgt seinem Bruder in die Halle.]

Matt: "Welcome! This is the ring, in which it all began in and the ring in which it all ends in."

[Jeff Hardy läuft schnellen Schrittes auf den Ring zu, Matt rollt sich umgehend heraus. Die Brüder stehen sich gegenüber, zwischen ihnen ein runder Tisch, wo der Vertrag drauf liegt.]

Jeff: "Are you going to sign it now?"

Matt: "You wanna fight, Brother Nero? [Matt unterschreibt den Vertrag] You will get one at Slammiversary."

Jeff: "Why do we got to wait till Slammiversary, big money Matt? You and your sarcastic ass, let's do it right now, let's do something. Let's end it where it began, isn't that what you're saying. Isn't that what you said, Matt?"

Matt: "It is, it is." [Matt rollt zurück in den Ring]

Jeff: "Then go!"

[Matt steht mit ausgebreiteten Armen im Ring, Jeff auf dem Apron als Reby die Halle betritt.]

Matt: "Whether it's Slammiversary or here. Your end will come at my happiness."

Jeff: "It's all that matter, Matt, you don't need a crowd!"

Reby: "Jeff.. Jeff!"

[Reby Sky wirft eine Babypuppe zu Jeff, der denkt, er würde seinen Neffen auffangen.]

Jeff: "What the hell is wrong with you?"

[Matt schlägt Jeff einen gläsernen Gegenstand in den Nacken, der dabei zerbricht. Matt betritt ebenfalls den Apron und ergreift seinen Bruder.]

Matt: "I told you. I told you it would end. I told you.."

[Matt Hardy befördert Jeff mit einem abgewandelten Side Effect durch den Tisch neben dem Ring.]

Matt: "It's over! Brother Nero is ovah. Done!"
