"One of the greatest feuds in wrestling history. Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuinness had unreal chemistry. every match felt real, intense, and full of emotion. You could feel the pride, the pain, and the respect between them. Their rivalry wasn't just about moves; it was about proving who truly represented pure wrestling. This is storytelling through competition at its absolute finest. Nothing fancy, nothing fake -- just two of the best pushing each other to the limit. A perfect 10/10 feud that defines what wrestling should be."

[10.0] "Bryan vs Nigel is without a question one of the greatest rivalries of all time, and a strong contender to be the absolute best, they are one of the biggest definitions of wrestling soulmates, everything about their careers is connected, their relation can easily become a movie, and it's just beautiful to watch their tales, the matches are unbelievable, starting with the fantastic ROH World Title and Pure Title unification feud, the battles to see who's the best wrestler in the world, Nigel finally being able to overcome the Dragon, their Ring of Honor farewell together, and even an unreal match 15 years later, it's just a beautiful rivalry, with many contrasts and nuances. Danielson and McGuinness are the perfect example of the 'lion vs hyena' dynamic inside the wrestling world, the Dragon is the golden boy, loved by everyone, with his beautiful blonde hair and perfect technique, he's unanimously the best wrestler in the world, and Nigel, well, he has to struggle a little bit more, he's english, and this means that for the vast majority of his career, specially at ROH, an american company, he's booed for being a foreigner, he's not so pretty, his hair weird, he speaks differently than everybody, and that makes him the perfect shadow for Bryan Danielson, he's the perfect rival that anyone should have, and me personally, I love him, because he's a rebel, and things for him are always more difficult, this makes him ambitious and dangerous, but also super jealous. For the most time, the rivalry was mainly sportive for Danielson, he wants the title, it doesn't matter who's on the other side, he's a conqueror, but Nigel is bitter, he wants accomplishments, but for him things are extremely personal, and it's been like that during their entire careers. After the ROH journey ended, both were supposed to head to WWE, but only Bryan was accepted, and that's because he lied about his injuries to the company, and Nigel was honest... this made the tragedy of Nigel McGuinness very poetic and sad, specially considering the success that Bryan had at the company, becoming worldwide known, one of the biggest stars on the planet, with multiple championships, and Nigel had to retire due to his injuries, extremely resentful, kinda proud and angry at the same time of Bryan, and this is it, the connection and the contrasts, you can't write things like this, that's why life is so beautiful, and why this is, forever, until the end of times, a perfect rivalry."

"Excellent, excellent feud that really defined ROH in the back half of the 2000s. My personal favorite match was from the Sixth Anniversary show, followed closely by Unified. I'm usually not even a fan of headbutts, but they did go kinda beast here."

[10.0] "Pretty much the North American version of Misawa/Kobashi, Tanahashi/Okada, & Misawa/Kawada. The greatest feud/rivalry in ROH history. Their matches will always withstand the "Test of Time". Extremely important rivalry to the respective resumes & overall legacies of both Bryan Danielson & Nigel McGuinness."

[10.0] "Quite underrated rivalry for sure. Fans always talk about Misawa/kobashi, okada/tanahashi, rock/Austin, but overlook this rivalry. This definitely represented the glory days of ROH. I am actually surprised that non of their matches got 5 from Dave Meltzer. Incredible storytelling, psychology, crowd reactions. Just simply perfect."

[10.0] "The greatest rivalry in wrestling history. ALL, and I mean ALL the matches that these 2 had against each other are absolutely 100% worth watching. I would have their worst singles match at 4 stars. Their bout at 6th Anniversary Show is my favorite match of all-time. For me, it just simply doesn't get any better than Bryan F'N Danielson vs. Nigel F'N McGuinness!"

[10.0] "Arguably one of the GREATEST rivalries ever! These two had superb chemistry and put on legit classics every time they locked up against one another. It was a rare occasion when these two had a singles match that wasn't a classic. In my view though it was this feud with Danielson that catapulted Nigel's career to the stratosphere. Definitely one of the Top 5 rivalries though."
