[9.0] "I'm just discovering this promotion now, I LOVE IT! It's everything I've been looking for in wrestling, great action, great storylines, amazing roster. Even the comedy is really fun."
"I have been watching puroresu for a few months now, and i gotta say, Dragongate was the first promotion i checked out, i am am nothing short of amazed, of course i know about NJPW, AJPW, NOAH, DDT, etc. But Dragongate is so good, from the speed and intensity of the matches to the fastastic events and tournaments, after years of watching it maybe my opinion would change, but it is really good and in my opinion japanese wrestling is way better than american wrestling."
[10.0] "The best promotion in Japan right now is definitely Dragon Gate. Technical speed matches with good timing. Fantastic tournaments and events. Fantastic wrestlers and...... Everything is fantastic and it can be said that the best event held in Kobe is for this promotion."
[8.0] "Truly one of those promotions where every spot on the card from top to bottom is just filled with pure talent. I'm only giving them an 8 because I think Michinoku Pro is a way better company, but my god man, you could pull up a random card from Dragongate and instantly fall in love with it."
"DragonGate is one of a kind. I've only been watching for a year but it's quickly become my favourite promotion. There's an emotional weight to the promotion that other companies may hope for, but have yet to achieve. The English commentary keeps reminding viewers of the extensive lore while still making new viewers feel welcome. It's a joy."
[10.0] "Been watching DG consistently for over a decade now. The single most well-rounded company in the world. Even when the E is on fire with the storytelling, there is always that antiseptic TV Show feel to it. DG never suffers from that, yet goes Bar-for-Bar with the storytelling. Even when AEW is delivering killer matches, the story telling is like a 9th grade acid trip. DG never suffers from that, the cliffhangers are palpable. NJ at its best hits the highest highs, but the lows are far lower than DG. DG just rides that DG wave that hits all the right notes, show after show after show. *AND* it's kid/family friendly without making you want to puke. Dragon Gate is, and has been, the most consistent pro wrestling company for the dozen years or so that I've been rocking with them now. Fuck yeah, DG FOREVER~!"
[10.0] "Some of my friends put me onto dragon gate and showed me how amazing this promotion really is. I thought dragon gate was just a fast paced wrestling company and while it does have some insane matches it is incredibly storyline and faction heavy. They always have some great storys going on and the action isnt just fast paced they have lucha influence with strong style mixed in resulting in some incredible in ring talents. One of the best promotions out right now."
[10.0] "Dragon Gate is the best promotion in the world. Combining high flying lucha libre, strong puroresu and great story telling, every show top to bottom is highly entertaining. My only wish is they add English subtitles to their network. Great promotion."
[8.0] "Dragongate is very underrated in terms of their fast pace storylines, alignment changes, and a mixture of wrestler's past and faction's past that creates a larger narrative. In terms of in ring action, it has definitely deteriorated of the Big Six era, with the small six era detrimentally losing the likes of SBK, but there is still a lot of joy following what has been happening in the shows in an era where other promotions has significantly slow down their storytelling for the sake of long term story and epicness."
[10.0] "My favorite promotion in the world, simple yet effective long term booking style that makes sense even years down the line and a fantastic collection of wrestlers both young and old DG is definitely the best promotion in the world."
[10.0] "Dragon Gate is a promotion that I've wanted to watch for a long time and with help of YAMATO, SB KENTo, Shun Skywalker, etc coming to America I finally decided to start watching and I think I've found my new favorite promotion. I started watching at the beginning of the year and haven't shut up about the promotion since. Every stable in the company is likeable to the point it's very hard to choose an actual favorite (Mines Natural Vibes cuz they're just so cool). The stories told are some of the best along with their wrestling. I'd highly recomend going out of your way to watch Dragon Gate."
[8.0] "One of my favorite promotions though I have fallen off a bit recently. Several departures mean they're currently in a biut of a rebuilding phase. They still deliver excellent matches and events though it can be a bit hard to keep up with everything."
[9.0] "Currently my favorite promotion, but from a neutral standpoint I cannot fairly give them a 10. The general problem is the match quality, especially singles, which are a bit below what other major promotions produce, albeit satisfactory at worst. But nevertheless, their constant faction warfare, turns, gimmicks and storylines are some of the most fun to follow nowadays. The generation change that has been going on ever since Ben-K won Dream Gate gold has been going very well, as it is currently being backed by some of the best young talent in the world. Most of Dragongate's young core can count their years of wrestling with the fingers they have on one hand but still manage to look like they've been doing it for many more. Even the newer rookies that have debuted post-pandemic look amazing for their experience level. Even though Dragongate suffered from a small domestic popularity drop after the pandemic, with their roster you can expect them to bounce back better than ever, with good reason."
"The Dragongate dojo is very obviously the most prodigious in the country of Japan. Outside of a couple of early retirements and departures, every addition to the roster since 2016 has seen success. The generation shift has already commenced, and this promotion will be one people wished they paid more attention to seven years from now. There have been ups and downs in 2022, but since Kobe World, this promotion is hitting on all cylinders."
[9.0] "Coming back to wrestling I chose Dragongate as my main promotion and I've had fun every step of the way. Seeing the old guard still here and great was expected but all the new stars in the promotion are what really got me interested. Shun Skywalker is one of the best guys going in the world and his transformation is not something I knew I'd like this much. A great mix of awesome matches and excellent drama. I love it"
[9.0] "Amazing matches, good storylines with big pay offs and emotional stuff. focus on the younger generation and good use of the veterans to put them over. Dragon Gate have all of that, and although is true their Lucharesu style is not for everyone, you can't go wrong with giving them a shot on their youtube channel. If you like what you see, you're in for an incredibleride, brother."
"Dragon Gate have navigated some big changes in their history and still remained a very popular promotion putting on great matches and a unique blend of styles. They may not get as much attention as New Japan, but there's a lot to love if you're willing to seek it out."
[8.0] "They used to be delightful! Non-stop action, excellent performers, 5 star after 5 star match. But with the departure of CIMA, T-Hawk, Shingo and then Mr. Okamura due to his poor health, unfortunately, the company is starting to lose momentum. And that was predictable - Mochi, Susumu, Doi, Yoshino etc is not getting younger and the new rising stars like Ben-K, Shun Skywalker or Keisuke Okuda not up to their level. Today's Dragon Gate is not as exciting as it used to be - that atmosphere of total chaos in the ring is lost forever. Ahhh... I'm going to go watch Yamato and Shingo bouts."
[9.0] "I started watching DG loosely in 2019 and started watching regularly in 2020. The promotion has a great mix of lucha libre, classic Japanese style and good storylines. Most of the wrestlers are very talented and charismatic, the only thing I am missing is more international guests."
[8.0] "This wrestling promotion is totally in old school style, where guys wrestle whole year doing shows day by day. And these matches are no easy timefillers. Every match is high quality and with some storyline background. One of the greatest wrestlers in the world, worked here before. This is the best learning facility for every talent that needs practice and giant improvement in skills. It's hard to keep up with all the shows they do, but every show is worth watching. One of the greatest wrestling you will ever see anywhere out there."
[10.0] "I started seeing Dragon Gate at the end of 2018, and I don't regret it, because it became one of my favorite promotions, its stories are very good, its matches are incredible, and it has an incredible pace, its oldest wrestlers still manage to have incredible matches , mainly Yoshino, Doi and Mochi, and their new generation of talents is incredible, and has the potential to overcome the previous one, mainly Ben-K, Kzy and Shun."
[10.0] "Been watching Dragon Gate since around 2012 and it is without doubt in my mind the greatest promotion out there. There are times when promotions take themselves too seriously, Dragon Gate absolutely doesn't do that. Amazing matches combined with comedy when the time is right makes for shows that just pass by and are over before you know it because you have so much fun. The undercard is something that can sometimes feel lacking and a bit boring but Dragon Gate makes even the matches that doesn't feel like they mean anything very fun to watch."
[10.0] "One of the most satisfying-to-watch wrestling promotions in the entire world. They've had a rough 2018 with the losses of CIMA, Shingo Takagi, T-Hawk & others, but they pulled it together, established a new generation of young stars & have killed it in 2019."
[10.0] "There are more consistently good companies out there but when Dragon Gate hits there is no one better at what they do. This is especially true now as the next generation of guys (Skywalker, Watanabe, Ishida, even Ben-K technically) are starting to really take off and secure Dragon Gate's future. The quality is so good that I don't even mind jumping through the hoops of their annoying streaming service, which is pretty much the best compliment I can give."
[9.0] "Been watching Dragon Gate for almost a year now, seen a lot of their archive and I feel like I can properly judge DG. Dragon Gate is an awesome promotion that's built rather uniquely. Very story driven and has a family friendly atmosphere but keeps up the intensity when it needs to. Best known for some great wrestling characters and gimmicks as well as some very innovative matches. The booking isn't great and they go through peaks and troughs pretty often but if you like storylines, DG is for you. Awesome wrestling too."
[8.0] "Dragon Gate is something I've wanted to watch regularly for quite awhile, and thanks to the new network they have, I can now keep up to date with the going ons in Dragon Gate. Every show I've watched so far I've thoroughly enjoyed and I'm hopeful it'll continue in this vein."
[10.0] "It took me a while to get familiar with the stables and each guy's personality but now that I did it's really fun. Great wrestling with great storytelling, what more can you ask of a wrestling promotion?"
[8.0] "Dragon gate is a promotion with amazing workers, strong work rate and consistent character driven stories, the only problem is with so many stables(or as they call it units), lots of wrestlers get caught up in the shuffle, and since their will always be units they feel like too much at times."
[10.0] "By a large margin my favourite promotion in the world right now, crazy characthers, great and fast paced matches and some wacky and really well made storylines that make this promotion really enjoyable to watch"
[10.0] "Anybody who rates this promotion under 7 points is someone i do not want to talk about wrestling with. Dragon Gate is probably the most consistently story driven and adrenaline pumping wrestling you'll find anyone. TNA's X Division from the glory days equaled to a whole promotional scale. Most of the wrestlers are of the Junior Heavyweight size and everyone with the promotion has a unique moveset suited for them. Their music department is probably the best in the world and their merchandise i will empty my wallet for in a heart beat. This promotion has ruined Western wrestling for me."
[8.0] "A solid promotion, with good wrestlers and a "flashy" concept of wrestling and entertainment in general. But if you don't like spotfests, or have a more traditional view of wrestling, don't watch it. In my case, I get bored sometimes with the stereotypical matches of this promotion but also get entertained with many other matches. Still the nº2 promotion in Japan behind NJPW."
[10.0] "The fastest, most exciting and adrenaline-fueled wrestling on planet earth can be found at Dragon Gate. This japanese promotion as a very unique style, distinctive Open Championships, a tremendous pacing and an astonishing roster of home-grown talent that rivals any other found in the world. Truly the best Japan as to offer, and maybe the best in the world today."
[10.0] "Meine Lieblings-Liga in Japan!
Geile Matches, ohne viel BlaBla, Staplewars vom Feinsten. So muss Wrestling sein. Einfach nur Bombe... GOD BLESS CIMA =)PS: man könnte die Seite ruhig mal aktuallisieren. Also Stables und Worker sollten schon draus^^"
