[5.0] "World Wrestling Council has a rich history in wrestling that is sadly tainted in murder. It disgusts me what they did to Brody and how they treated it afterwards, all to keep the business going disgraceful."

[8.0] "Aside from the fact that the Colons make sure they are the only over wrestlers in the promotion, and the production values are so low they make Birdemic look cutting edge, WWC is a pretty good promotion. The bouts are Southern-style brawls (which I love, I know it's not every one's cup of tea, ) and the commentary is good (while I have a limited understanding of spanish, what I can make out is more informative than WWE commentary. ) Overall, an 8."

[4.0] "Considering that on the average wrestlers from Puerto Rico are pretty good one would think WWC, the oldest promotion from Puerto Rico in activity, would be at least an enjoyable one. While I am sure there are a lot of people who think so, otherwise they wouldn't still be in business, I just don't get the appeal. While the talent may be good, the booking is abysmal and often extremely predictable (read: the Colon's and their protégés always get over) and most of the time the workers feel like they are firing on two out of four cylinders if you know what I mean. The fact production values are borderline amateurish and that the venues are far too large for the crowds WWC manages to attract these days add to my perception of a seedy third tier promotion. But still they have such a rich history and they managed to have so many all-time greats working for them I cannot but considerably increase my otherwise extremely low rating."

For a company of a US dependancy to be producing something consistantly for such a long time speaks volumes about the passion of wrestling. The wrestling itself is not too shabby with all the moves feeling just as real if not more real than WWE and the like, even if a viewer is often left in the dark on the names or the wrestlers unless they speak fluent spanish."

The murder of Bruiser Brody was an afront to not only the wrestling business, but everything good and just in this world, and the fact that we ignore the fact that his murderer still walks free and that the promoter, Carlos Colon, rigged the system so that the trial was a farce, is absolutely disgusting."
