120.04.2024BruceMarcos5246.0TNA has some ups and downs, but mostly downs because a lot of questionable booking has done in the wrestling promotion over the past decade. TNA in 2002-2009 was a blast, TNA brought the likes of AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, Eric Young, etc. The way they used the legends in that era is great and very helpful to put over the next breed of talents then. One of the most exciting things TNA has done is the X-Division, in which broke barriers on bringing the exciting element of indy wrestling to television. Every X-Division match is amazing and somewhat refreshing to the eyes of pro-wrestling fans back then. Upon the era of Dixie Carter and Hulk Hogan in 2010, it somehow turned into WCW 2000. The bookings are very dirty, legends putting themselves over and crappy matches. North American wrestling has suffered its dark days in early 2010's and neither TNA nor WWE was bearable to watch. This is the reason why fans stopped watching pro-wrestling until AEW came to rise in 2019, bringing lapsed fans back. TNA had some worst moments, and these moments are the only things that TNA is memorable of. Like the drugged Jeff Hardy incident in Victory Road 2011, Sharmell vs Jenna Morasca, and the worst part is when TNA trying to compete the WWE on Monday nights, in which is embarrassing. Good to see TNA has somehow improved in terms of wrestling quality in late 2010's. Nowadays, TNA is lowkey decent, unfortunately getting overshadowed by two wrestling giants in North America.
219.04.2024NathanMac6.0At the end of 2023 I was hyped for this brand, when they announced the rebranding I was cautiously optimistic. However since the rebrand it has been just mediocre for me nothing has really changed and if anything it has got slightly worse.

417.04.2024MylesSmith2210.0Been a huge fan of TNA for years yes it has had its ups and downs. Good thing about TNA they are signing lots of talent that might have not been picked up from being a free agent Trent Seven, Leon Slater, Harley Hudson, also TNA has the best booking of women I'd say compared to AEW and WWE I feel like women are far better used in TNA
517.04.2024gilmoregirls8.0I have a lot of fond memories watching TNA over the years. Tons of incredible talent in and out of the doors. Obviously there were a lot of problems and criticisms, but I have to give the total history of TNA an 8.0 It's a shame that they were the pariah of the IWC during their hottest eras. Wrestling fans missed out on some good matches if they were caught in the tribalism.

713.04.2024Tnawrestling numbers 8/10 rating overall (Potential 9/10) TNA Wrestling has a long history and went through many historical changes. As WCW/ECW closed down new companies emerged in 2002 such as NWA-TNA, MLW , RoH and more. The Asylum included tons of Indy wrestlers from NWA Wild side , Former USWA wrestlers , IWA wrestling , AAA Lucha and more. Jeff Jarrett's weekly ppv system was cumbersome , but looking back at the matches on TNA+/Impact + the matches are still classics. In 2005 -2006 , former WWE superstars joined the company , and the biggest name at that time was Kurt Angle. 2005 marked the year that TNA was aired on former relaunched TNN channel Spike Tv. 2005 -2009 were the years of Kurt Angle , Booker T , Samoa Joe , The HArdys , Christian Cage , Aj Styles , Mick Foley , and more. TNA Wrestling was able to continue Tv-14 Wrestling after the Chris Benoit incident , WWE's 15+ year TV-pg /NXT era , and the fall of the failed Ecw. 2010- 2013 were the TNA-WCW years of Bischoff , Hogan , and Dixie Carter. The quality of WWE was becoming more boring as Barack/Michelle Obama were strict on pro wrestling . UFC's Ultimate Fighter also helped with the ratings of TNA Wrestling. 2012 was one of the flashiest years of TNA Wrestling , and they were a stronger rival than AEW of today. Disagreements , greed , lies , deaths , or evil led to Tna being pulled off of Spike Tv , but Spike Tv eventually was removed off of air for good. 2015 -2019 TNA Wrestling bounced between different stations , but the show still pulled strong numbers in 2016. In 2016 , several Indy wrestling companies took over , and the unprofessionalism of Indy Wrestling took a toll on TNA Wrestling. Chikara , Evolve , ROH , JAPW , Defiant , WWN, DragonGate USA , and more all worked against TNA Wrestling. The mid 2010s were questionable for pro wrestling , and many of their actions countered against the industry. Most of the Indy companies of the mid 2010s were closed down , but the Mid 2010 era led to the #SpeakOut Allegations of 2019-2020. In 2017 Jeff Jarrett left Tna Wrestling as the company was brought out . Jeff Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling failed because of Local southern attitudes towards foreign countries. If Jeff Jarrett was in another country then the Global Force Wrestling would have succeeded. The opening Intro to Impact Wrestling in 2018 featured names of other countries. The bitterness of Jeff Jarett/no longer controlling led to attacks against the company. The ONO ppvs from 2016 -2018 worsened in quality. Impact Wrestling also continued to work with enemy hostile company Ring Of Honor. From 2018-2020 Impact Wrestling experimented with their own Indy Wrestling shows . Impact Wrestling held cross platform Indy Shows named Twitch Specials. Impact Wrestling gave Ring Of Honor the opportunity to air their pay per views for money? ! ? Gone were the consistency of monthly shows. Impact Wrestling wasn't affected by the #Speakout Sexual Allegations unlike WWE , Chikara , and especially Ring of Honor. Cov-19, sexual harassment , black lives matters , terrorism , piracy , sports declined Impact Wrestling in 2019. 2020 Impact Wrestling were to start a new year on Axs TV$ . Impact Wrestling lost some viewers because of the stupidity of Sami Callihan V. Tessa Blanchard . Tessa Blanchard became the first woman to hold the Impact Wrestling World Championship. There was still some comeback in Impact Wrestling , but the Industry already turned on TNA/Impact for All Elite Wrestling. 2021 was an off year as D'Lo Brown entered impact wrestling , and Christian Cage/Kenny Omega brought All Elite Wrestling into TNA Wrestling . Stupid IMpact/TNA Wrestlers grinned as they gave up their rivalry to drop down to an NXT Level. 2022 brought in classic wrestlers back to Impact , but the biggest story was RING OF HONOR's :HONOR NO MORE. Ring Of Honor Wrestling was sold to Chicago Pakistani-American Tony Khan of Jacksonville , FL. 2023 started off with action from ATL , GA , North Carolina , Florida and more. The whole first half of the year up to Emergence was wasted. Jonathon Gresham (ROH)of ATL, GA does not fit in with Impact/TNA Wrestling. Who could forget the Bound for GLory 2023 stunt where Impact Wrestling was rebranded back to TNA Wrestling? RIng Of Honor/ECW Wrestling caused the most damage to the company. Ring Of Honor stole most of TNA Wrestling's show , roster , Talent , and bad-mouthed them in the sports industry. TNA Wrestling fell off because they are evil. New Japan Pro Wrestling/MLW have no business double crossing TNA Wrestling . All Elite Wrestling are living off of a stolen lie . Women rights / Black Wrestlers destroyed TNA Wrestling. TNA Wrestling has a clean look , but Ring of Honor is infested with sexual Allegations. All ELite Wrestling knows nothing about the Professional Wrestling business. ALL Elite Wrestling is an incident infested , police involved , and biased company. TNA Wrestling can make their return if they remove the free ppvs of YouTube , free HDTv channels , Free content , stay away from gang culture , and cut off Ring Of Honor Wrestling. If Ring Of Honor never stole TNA Wrestling's wrestlers then the WWE would have never appeared to begin with.
810.04.2024TripleCrown5.0Man, how the mighty have fallen. Once considered a rival to WWE, now are considered a big "what if" story. Had Dixie Carter not brought in Hogan & Bischoff, I think TNA would've been the place for wrestling fans late 2000s and early-mid 2010s. It went downhill so bad that their absolute ace, somebody who everybody thought would be a TNA for life guy, ended up leaving (AJ Styles.) You know you've messed up when AJ Styles has had enough and leaves. It's a damn shame because TNA was so good, like any promotion it had a fair share of ups and downs, but they really did professional wrestling right for a short period of time. It was a breath of fresh air, the six sided ring and the overall production was just so drastically different to WWE that it really made you want to tune in and see what would happen. They did a lot of good things like having the NJPW guys come over, and the incredible X-Division at the time, it was just going in the right place and then Hogan & Bischoff waltzed in and killed it. They can try and rebrand the company time and time again but it just isn't going to work, TNA unfortunately failed and is a shell of its former self.

1128.03.2024Old sports TNA 2002 2009 9/10 TNA 2010 2013 7/10 Perhaps 2007 has been their best season. There have been seasons where the characterizations of their personas has been great, and their extra ring was at the same levels as the in ring quality. What was great was their innovative style mixing strong style and high flying moves with great TV production, they had great teams, the X Division, innovative gimmick matches like the Ultimate X, the King of the mountain match, hardcore matches, and at one point they introduced the women's division which for the American wrestling standards at that time, has been innovative too, they even introduced the women tag team's titles.Jeff Jarrett is the founder, their best products over the years have been AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Abyss, Awesome Kong, Daniels, Gail Kim, Monty Brown, Hernandez, James Storm, Bobby Roode, Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, Low Ki, Austin Aries, Petey Williams, Kazarian, Sonjay Dutt and their best acquisitions over the years have been Sting, Jeff Hardy, Jerry Lynn, Kurt Angle, Christian, Team 3d, Scott Levy, Sabu , Rhyno, Scott Steiner, Elix Skipper, Kevin Nash, Booker T, Mick Foley (he should have been in there as manager for other years) RVD(It would have been awesome if he would have been hired even before 2010, like in 2006 2007), Shane Douglas (very good as interviewer), Tomko, Flair. Thanks to Jeff Jarrett, Dixie Carter, Vince Russo, Dutch Mantell, Jim Cornette, Scott D'Amore, Rhodes, Jeremy Borash, Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan. In 2017 they had a good momentum again with the GFW, they had deals with other promotions.Other great acquisitions over the years Lashley, The Wolves, Matt Sydal, Moose. At one point they had a title based on points

1313.03.2024Azazel8.0to see where this company has gotten to from 2018 to now is commendable they could of easily let it die off, but the people in charge and fans of the company didn't let that happen and now they're back to the original name and even better than before

1610.03.2024Zak227.0I was a TNA mark growing up, between 2011-2014, TNA was my weekly dose of Wrestling, but it's also TNA that turned me off wrestling for almost a decade because, boy it got ugly after they left Spike TV. I have fond memories of attending two TNA TV tapings in London and seeing my wrestling crush Velvet Sky win the knockouts title. I loved Aces and Eights. I loved Bully Ray. I loved Aries and Roode. But looking back, it wasn't actually that good, I was just a 10-12 year old kid. Look, early, pre-Hogan TNA was inconsistent but delivered some absolute gold, like AJ-Daniels-Joe at Unbreakable 2005 or Perc Angle but as I said it was never consistent. After 2014 I've never kept up with TNA much but was glad to see they survived and have some good talent on the roster. The biggest disappointment with TNA is that they didn't learn any of the lessons of WCW, they repeated the stupid gimmick matches, they bought in Russo and Bischoff, and they had so many screwy finishes. But I credit TNA for giving us the X divison and the Knockouts.

1905.03.2024sarahlicity6.0Oh, TNA, what can one say about you? If one were to look up "identity crisis" in the dictionary, then the promotion out of Nashville will appear as an example. For the past twenty years, it's never quite known what it wants to be: does it want to be WWE or be an alternative? And what it should have done is be the alternative. The strong points of its existence, such as the mid-2000s and the late-2010s, were when it was doing just that, providing people a more grounded take on pro wrestling than WWE's glitz and glamour. It provided a home for people who Vince McMahon just couldn't use right; people like Sting and Christian Cage lit the house on fire, it was the place that made AJ Styles look an absolute star, and it proved that Kurt Angle wasn't just a one-trick pony. And even as soon as the early 2020s, it truly had one of the best women's divisions in the West; Slamovich, James, Grace, Purrazzo and Trinity are a strong core to build a division around, even if two of them have left for different pastures. But we have to talk about the downsides too. The early 2010s were truly a nadir for TNA, with Hogan and company tanking the glory days by trying, and failing, to fight the Monday Night Wars again, and the less said about the 2013-15 "we have WWE at home" era, the better. Matt Hardy really does deserve his flowers for dragging a dying almost-corpse of a promotion back into relevance enough to get proverbial medical attention, because the industry would be for the worse without TNA.

2425.02.2024AmirTheEnforcer7.0This promotion has a rich history and has contributed a lot to the formation of modern wrestling as we know it and a lot of our favorite talents come from TNA. However, a combination of bad decision and bad luck led to their fall from glory somewhere in late 2000s and early 2010s. Fortunately, now they are getting a grip on the promotion and they have started to revitalize a few things and I'm looking forward to more good things happening them.

2720.02.2024fourlegclover Started watching them in 2008 but it's been on and off for a few years now. I don't really know why but I continue to have a soft spot for this company. I was a straight up a mark for them during what's considered one of their worst periods - the Hogan and Bischoff era. Of course, I can look back and see how bad a time that was from the onscreen product and definitely the backstage crap that was going on. Defended them way more than I should've. They're a solid promotion who has had better days. Hope they will improve and become a viable option for many wrestlers because they're currently in a position where it feels like a "this is where wrestlers go when they have no other big options" type of promotion.

2915.02.2024mxkami7.0I love TNA. And it's currently my favorite mainstream North American promotion. No satire here. I *adore* TNA, and have converted my partner to the same mindset during their 6 years of watching pro wrestling as a whole. The best booked North American women's division (and it is NOT close, coming from someone who watches Japanese wrestling more than anything else), a stacked roster, some of the most beautiful Championship belts in the business as a whole, fun promotion-exclusive match stipulations, and a stroke of genius in rebranding back to TNA and going all in on themselves and their former identity. Yet, I only rate them a 7 as of today. I am not sure that there is a wrestling company today that has continued to have success (whether you like it or not) on the scale that they do, while simultaneously almost always shooting themselves in the foot... then the d***... then breaking all of their own fingers. When it's good, you go "wow... people should put some respect on TNA... look at these matches, look at this roster"... Then the inevitable happens and we all once again just collectively sigh and go "oh... there it is." Top this with today's climate of them forcing Scott D'Amore out of the company because he felt that there needed to be a shift in procedure to maintain their momentum, and you have a cocktail of everything TNA embodies, thus making those of us who stick around feel unseen, sad, and unfulfilled.

4210.01.2024GriffinX6.0This actually kind of hard for me to write. Because for so long TNA was my personal favorite company and I defended it long and hard. But now as I look back at the long history and see over and over and over again they have put on a unappealing producing missing out on chance after chance. Yes they have lasted 20 plus years but they sure as hell haven't thrived.
4307.01.2024MooGati9.0Call me nostalgic, but Impact really seems to be having fun with their twenty year anniversary, and I love that they're fooling around with the good and the bad. Beyond that, every performer has a character, purpose, or TV time, something I can't say about the bloated rosters of WWE, AEW, and NJPW. Talent is exploding in every promotion, for sure, but Impact really seems the best at maximizing everyone's potential (with one point off for the awful ECW memorial acts like Dreamer, Bully Ray, and Rhino).

5112.12.2023Jambo6.0I think Impact does a solid job with their weekly TV. They offer good wrestling and have the second best womens division behind WWE. But the problem I see is that it's neither must-see TV nor do they feel unique in any way. Say what you will about the six sided Ring, but that needs to return. Just rebranding Impact to TNA won't help much. No disrespect to some of the oldtimers, but seeing some of them in 2023 doesn't feel right.

5311.12.2023greaterdale9.0I rather enjoy modern Impact. It feels like a good mix of cool indie talent with former WWE wrestlers. It has awesome matches, while also giving a good dose of promos and storylines. Scott D'Amore has done an awesome job rebuilding this promotion from its near death in mid 2010s. Now they're setting to return to now beloved TNA name and could do big buisness going into 2024. They'll never be the number 2 american promotion, but they've found their niche and will continue to grow if they stay on course. It must be said their women's division could be the best in America the only big promotion that's even close is WWE and like they're a Goliath that prints money so it would be a headscratcher if their women's divsion wasn't good (I'm looking at you Tony Khan...) It's possible they might start to throw around more money then they used too because they offered Will Ospreay near 7 figures to sign with them allegedly. In my rereview I raised their rating from 8 to 9 as I'm a big fan of what TNA has to offer its fans these days.
5407.12.2023EleceRock6.0The best way to describe Impact nowadays in my opinion is as an "OK" show. You definitely going to see a fun show with mosly good matches and solid booking if you start following this promotions, but at the same time there's nothing worth going out of your way to see here that you wouldn't see in other promotions.

8225.09.2023charliefiction6.0Impact is a very solid weekly TV product. If you find time for it, Impact does a decent job of repaying that investment. There's a good mix of old-school angles/stories with a more modern style of in-ring performances. Their story/feud builds become a bit formulaic when you watch the TV/PPVs for a while (and learn their booking style), but they have a few captivating wrestlers and characters that can make you forgot about the tropes. They still rely a little too heavily on older (obsolete? ) talent like Bully Ray, but it's easy to skip out on the parts that are less enjoyable.
