[8.0] "The original FWA was (and still is) my favourite promotion. A big player in the UK when homegrown Wrestling wasn't so hot. They put on some great shows and brought in some big names from overseas, and had a sort-of working relationship with Ring Of Honor and featured on a number of television channels and documentaries. Sadly poor management and often poor attendance in some areas was this promotion's downfall culminating in a promotion Vs promotion storyline feud at Final Frontiers against IPW:UK - which the FWA lost and had to shut up shop. Their closure actually had a huge effect on me as a Wrestling fan as I stopped watching Wrestling completely not long after they closed, and haven't found another promotion that felt the same as them since. The criticism about their presentation not being very aesthetically pleasing is warranted though, the wrestlers' ring gear especially I always thought was awful (not entirely sure if that's the promotion's fault or not However) and the ring itself looked very grubby and their Championship Belts were mostly copies of WWE Belts. The FWA also utilized a set of rules - the Yellow & Red Card system as seen in Soccer for warnings and DQs, which some other promotions later adopted and the banning of the piledriver. They returned as FWA:UK in 2009 and was a little better presented, but It was far from the same promotion. A lot of the former Wrestlers were gone, the Soccer fan-esque chants from the fans were gone, the venues were noticeable downgrades too, with more than likely free attendance for some shows, and less oversees talent. Only good thing was some of the influx of new talent, many of who went on to be big stars elsewhere - ZSJ, Marty Scurll, Jack Gallagher, Zach Gibson & Martin Stone being some of them. Also the new FWA was a little more serious, the old FWA having comedy moments & spots quite frequently. The promotion closed a second time in 2012. I really miss the old FWA, but not the new FWA."

[6.0] "The original FWA was brilliant, and put on brilliant shows, but the revived FWA was nowhere near as good, the storylines and promos were good, but the matches were pretty bad."
