"A new all-women's indie project created by Maria Kanellis and Bobby Cruise. It's somewhat of a follow-up to the impressive work they did last year relaunching the Ring of Honor women's division (before the hiatus). I can't justify putting a rating on this promotion yet, as it has only run a few shows and is literally a couple of months old. I generally think a promotion needs to have run a much larger volume of shows before you can put a rating on it. But the signs so far are promising. The promotion has featured a really good cast of established women wrestlers, indie standouts and emerging talent. They've already done some work with Thunder Rosa's Mission Pro and Warrior Wrestling. Of the shows streaming on the PWTV platform for free, there's several really commendable/worthwhile matches. In a way, WWA could also serve as a de facto continuation of SHIMMER with the opportunities it seeks to offer women wrestlers. Let's wait and see but I've got high hopes."
