131.12.2020SPRINKLERGY10.0Top indy promotion in a very strong metro Detroit area. Never do they disappoint. Always top notch storylines, in ring work and fun environment. I have frequently attended their shows for about 4 years
211.06.2017Resident9.0Probably the best wrestling promotion in Michigan. They always put on great shows. They used to focus more hardcore, but now show quite a variety and their shows have improved a lot over the years, especially in terms of technical wresrling. They have been bringing in big names on their "Best In Detroit" shows like Jay Lethal, Tommy Dreamer, Davey Richards, and EC3 and they draw a lot of fans at their shows, more than any other promotion in Michigan. Each event seems to draw more and more fans. They have "Best In Detroit" shows, regular numbered shows, and now aso have "Proving Grounds" shows, which is almost like a developmental where they have a "rookie" and an XICW veteran team together. They get fans invloved by having them vote on which team advances and they have a lot of original ideas on the show. Meanwhile there regular shows have some of the best wrestling around. I especially enjoyed the classic matches with Hakim Zane vs. Orlando Christopher. They feature a lot of other stars like Rhino, Zach Gowen, "GQ" Gavin Quinn, Jake Something, The Monroes, Joe Coleman, Idris Abraham, Jeff Brooks, Dickie Bronson, "Sweet" Willie Watts, Caleb Stills, Movado, Jay Maynard, and the Scarbonis. All of their shows are entertaining and fun.
301.05.2014robotturkeyxbl8.0This is a good Detroit indy promotion. They usually book a couple of Bigger names to their shows. The matches are always good, and usually entertaining. Some of the most common names at shows are DBA, Movado, Chaz Montana, and Drunk the Clown. The shows are gradually getting bigger. I recommend XICW to anyone in the Detroit area.
