30122.05.2023Vanstyler9.0A company made by and for fans supported by the best wrestlers on the market and this is what you get, a product that despite the fact that it still has room for improvement, feels like a program with soul and future.
30219.05.2023TheCoolGuy0.0What do you get when you have a clueless billionaire who loves wrestling but cant manage backstage situations with workers, employees that have to complain about their time in wwe to get hired, a bunch of guys who do flips and almost die every match but people only remember 5% of whats happened years later and you get people contemplating retirement at 30. You get AEW. From the sloppy wrestlers who drop each other on their heads and the owner who cant solve problems you get a terrible wrestling promotion that will have the same fate as WCW. But man. if what I'm hearing is real.... Poor Walter
30319.05.2023bisho10.0The best company right now. very happy that Iam one of those who have watched the company growing since day one. now they have 3 TV shows, they do shows outside of the US, they fill stadiums (man, I guess All In is gonna be a show that ppl will talk about for the next couple of years). of course there are times that the product is not that good. but I always tune in every Wednesday knowing that my man Tony will not let me down. and he never did though

31003.05.2023TheRealbeast299.0AEW is not a perfect wrestling company, they've made many mistakes with things such as the TNT title, Malakai Black and the whole HOB up until their trios championship win and the storylines in the women's division. With that being said, I am very grateful this company exists because it got me back into wrestling and gives me a reason to tune in every week, which I haven't done for any company for at least seven years. The best part about this company is that it has something for everyone to enjoy, whether it is detailed and meaningful stories, hard hitting marathon matches or silly stupid goofy funny shit. That's why this company is loved by many because it has variety and isn't afraid to give the people what they want and take risks.
31101.05.2023Shawder AEW brought me hope once again in Television pro-wrestling after all those years before the monopoly being with the big E. Quality wrestling weekly, with a stacked roster and a owner that loves wresting and cares about it.

31527.04.2023winston8.0There's no such thing as a perfect wrestling promotion but AEW is the one I enjoy watching regularly at the moment. There's things I'd change about it if I was in charge (for instance I wish they'd either have the refs enforce the rules, or abandon traditional rules entirely - I find it immersion-breaking) but I still like watching every week, and it's the promotion that brought me "back" to current mainstream wrestling. That's pretty impressive, so I think an 8 on the CAGEMATCH scale (good) is fair.

31723.04.2023devwil6.0I've tried to watch AEW regularly more than once, and each time I've just found it to be unrewarding, despite many of my absolute favorites being on the roster. AEW has just never been what I'd hoped it be, but my expectations are largely just my own fault. Seeing as the logo was revealed by The Elite just outside of the Tokyo Dome, I thought AEW could be the importation of puroresu sensibilities to American TV (which I still think would work way, way better than people assume). Instead, AEW is just the same American pro wrestling format we've seen for decades (arbitrary, stilted feuds and championships that don't mean as much as they could). I recognize that TK is, at a minimum, BETTER at that style of booking than WWE, but that's frankly a pretty low bar and it's just not really to my tastes even when it's done well.

33002.04.2023TVTN AEW is a interesting company. They have a stacked roster, amazing stage, and astounding gimmicks. But despite this, something still doesn't seem right. They've also had insane growth over nearly 4 years now and only seems to be getting better with time. Time will tell if they can manage to truly compete with WWE, but for right now, AEW is in a decent spot as of the date I am writing this.

33323.03.2023LivingLegend4.0My previous rating was apparently against the guidelines. Anyways, 2019-2021 AEW was great. The storytelling still lacked but the matches were almost always great. 2022 was a bad year overall, with the CM Punk stuff and the match quality going down and logical storytelling going down as well. They still sometimes show glimpses of former greatness, typically with their PPV cards, but the weekly shows have lacked for awhile. Also the women's division booking is still a weak spot and should have improved by now. Less heatless matches with no story, and more storytelling and backstage promos is what AEW needs to get back on track.

33916.03.2023KesagakeOK6.0AEW at the moment is such an inconsistent product as to be unenjoyable at times. You can still often get some of the best work American wrestling has to offer from this promotion (Danielson vs MJF immediately springs to mind), but this is often surrounded by work, workers, angles, and matches that range from mind-numbingly mediocre to outright bad and have no place in a mainstream wrestling company. Still well worth the time to watch, but also clearly and publicly going through some growing pains as a promotion.

34115.03.2023MDavis20018.0Currently, AEW's weekly programming is arguably at an all-time low, even compared to the pandemic era. There's hardly anything compelling that makes me want to tune in, whereas late 2021 to early 2022 gave us the Kenny vs Hangman and Punk vs MJF rivalries, Eddie Kingston was prominently featured (as he should be! ) and you'd see guys like Ishii and Suzuki announced for matches on Dynamite. These are the things that made me love AEW, the fact that I'd have a reason to tune in to a weekly show due to ongoing stories but I'd still get fantastic matches, making for a show that felt complete. But right now it's pretty telling that outside of the absolutely incredible Jamie Hayter and The House of Black, your most over act is Jeff Jarrett. Yikes. Even The Acclaimed have been losing steam. AEW still have the best front to back PPV's in the entire business and when they're doing good they're doing great, but right now they aren't there. I'll be tuning in to Dynamite tonight, and I truly hope that AEW can begin to show me something to care for within their weekly programming again. Overall, AEW needs to give the fans more reasons to tune in. Give us genuinely engaging storylines like Kenny vs Hangman, or Punk vs MJF again! If they can strike a balance between storytelling outside of the ring and workrate like they did from DON 2021 to Revolution 2022, they're golden. Hopefully Kota Ibushi finds his way to AEW and they can run back the Golden Lovers vs Young Bucks rivalry. Sticking with an 8/10 for now.

34312.03.2023RecklessOne4.0Highly overrated promotion. There were certainly great matches there, but in general, Tony Khan works very strangely with his roster, signing unnecessary or wrestlers who have not been in the ring for a long time like Saraya. Inability to work with a female roster, very strange creative ideas, mostly boring feuds and the assumption of disgusting behavior in some personalities. TNT title is generally a hot potato, passing from hand to hand. Some indie companies are far superior to AEW in some aspects.
34410.03.2023jonsnoe9.0The best promotion in recent years and the reason why I came back to watch wrestling on a weekly basis. You can see how a variety of wrestling types from this company. It's very fun to watch their product. I hope AEW will keep their standard for a very long time to be the real legit competitor with WWE. This industry needs competition, not a monopoly.

35423.02.2023thecrushermex10.0For years I have stopped following wrestling for many reasons. I used to think that maybe I didnt like it anymore because at least on american wrestling I couldnt find anything that related to me. I followed the big events from other companies like NJPW and CMLL but I missed the feeling of wanting to follow wrestling on a weekly basis like I did years ago. When I first heard about All In I give it a chance because it felt like for the first time in years wrestlers from different companies were pushing for the same goal and the event didnt dissapoint me. At that moment I didnt even knew if rumors existed about a new company but I am glad that I found out about the creation of AEW because since day one I have been a fan and Imo they are a real alternative to anything else on american tv for the first time in decades. I am not going to enter into details about how I feel about the way some people judge this company compared to others, instead of that I want to say that If you are a wrestling fan that enjoys the wrestling aspect maybe you can give it a chance. No wrestling company is perfect of course but I am always going to be grateful to AEW for bringing back to me the love for wrestling.
35522.02.2023zombywoof8810.0It is the best North American television product that has ever existed. Even when Dynamite is in a slump, it retains superiority over almost everything else that has ever existed. PPV quality matches almost every week, interesting characters that act like human beings, dream matches that nobody ever thought possible... to quote Taz: "if you're not watching this, then you're a dumbass". Genuinely, if identity politics plays a role in you not wanting to engage with this promotion, you really need to re-think how you structure your individual fandom.

35818.02.2023danzitorock10.0This company saved mainstream Pro-Wrestling, it's not perfect, but i'm so grateful for Tony Khan and everyone involved. The american pro wrestling have been monopolized for a long time since WCW and it's just a blessing to have AEW putting awesome storylines, weekly shows and ppvs on a regular basis. Personally, I couldn't watch anything that the other company was doing and AEW made me watch and be intrigued about pro wrestling again. It's just awesome the quality of wrestling on tv we are getting this last years with AEW, it gives an attitude era vibe and the crowds are so much better than any other. AEW saved pro wrestling.
35916.02.2023Nintendogen649.0My favourite American pro-wrestling company. I've been on board since day one and have enjoyed almost every minute of it. AEW does a great job of blending high quality work-rate matches with a weekly television format and some great storylines that make it unmatched for quality in North America.
36012.02.2023stretchjayy10.0Amazing. I started watching every week around the build up to cm punk. Easily best wrestling decision. They put on great matches every week. Although they have their minor problems, such as booking and storytelling sometimes, and maybe a occasional meaningless bladejob. They do the job. Was only watching wwe ppvs and wasnt keeping up with raw and smackdown. Can actually say they brought me back into wrestling.
36111.02.2023KKeanel7.0A company with a huge beginning and a great roster, which in the second half of 2021 additionally grew significantly, which caught the attention of the entire wrestling world and gave a chance to jump RAW in the ratings, but it was also a problem that continues to this day. Tony Khan showed us his many interesting ideas (and not only his own, creative freedom is a nice play here and usually a plus), but for a long time the product looks like playing in Universe mode.

36904.02.2023milos16056.0Tony Khan thinks that great (but not amazing) wrestling can make people tune in every week (reason that Cody left.). Maybe, but it can't last long. Main problem of AEW is that they fail and even don't try to create memorable storylines. MJF-Punk, Page- Omega, Mox-Kingston were amazing rivalries, but nothing more. MJF and Punk had potential to have Feud of the Decade, but Punk's pipebomb after All Out destroyed it. MJF dethroned man who was supposed to be on (well deserved) vacation. Eddie Kingston, if it doesn't change immediately, will never leave midcard and pre-shows, he deserves more. Moxley is amazing, heart and soul of AEW, but he really damaged blading in wrestling. Page is amazing, but they have to treat him like a world title level wrestler. Kenny is awesome, but he needs solo run. Chris Jericho, despite being legend, has buried and defeated so many younger (and better) talent. JAS became very stale and boring. Tag team wrestling in AEW is better than in WWE, but not that great. FTR are just amazing, best team in the world. Young Bucks, Will Ospreay, Lucha Bros and others really gave their best to make wrestling look like acrobatics, not a sport. Acclaimed are overrated, Caster's skills are just good and his raps are already boring. Bowens is much better than him. Jurassic Express was cool team. Tragically, we would never see The Briscoes again. Women's wrestling in AEW is poor, at best. Jamie Hayter and Hikaru Shida are great. Toni Storm is just ok. Britt, Rosa, Jade, Melo aren't good. WWE will always have advantage in that field. Their ROH PPVs were great, but world title isn't special. As much as I like Claudio, Vince was maybe right, he's fantastic wrestler, deserves world title, but he isn't big draw. Their Rampage shows are average, it's just for some "dream matches" and for guys that didn't fit at Dynamite. I like that they make their PPVs feel special by having four of them annually, and they also make special episodes of Dynamite feel special. Their cooperation with Impact has been bad for Impact, they confirmed themselves as second class promotion. Forbidden door was great, but Tanahashi, best wrestler in modern Japanese history, was jobber to Mox and Ospreay's big debut was wasted. Future of AEW? Wardlow has bad booking, Sammy Guevara is just bad, Jungle Boy is ok, and Darby Allin is modern Jeff Hardy (without his problems, i hope). Bryan Danielson's booking is special problem. I understand that they want as much dream matches as possible, but if someone can elevate world title it's him. He lost TOO MANY important matches. I hope that they wouldn't make same mistake with Cole. About references and shots at WWE, it's very low and poor and it became boring. When WWE fires back they do it with style. AEW fans are very disrespectful, even to AEW sometimes, they hate everything that WWE does and overrate every match and show of AEW. AEW is great company, but with wrong approach to bussiness.

37429.01.2023yourhero6.06.5/10 AEW has many interesting wrestlers and a few great talents such as MJF. It seems that they give their workers a lot of freedom, which has positives and negatives. Promos are often quite enjoyable, but match quality varies greatly. There is frequently an excess of phony-looking spot wrestling, and compared to the WWE it looks minor league. There is also a stop and start nature to many storylines, as if reading single chapters from a random pile of books. I like that they work with other promotions frequently.

37724.01.2023luislima10.0The reason I'm a wrestling fan today. Without AEW, there wouldn't really be a promotion on a national level on US TV that caters to wrestling fans. A product made for us by people like us. It's great. From amazing matches weekly, to great promos and consistent storytelling, AEW has a little for everyone. From lucha, to hard hitting Kings Road matches, to a throwback to good ol' southern rasslin, big men slapping man meat, technical wrestling, hardcore wrestling, tag team wrestling, women's wrestling, just the best wrestling. It's refreshing to have a brand that will get over on its own for having a good product and the target audience is the people that will tune in every single week and buy merch, tickets and PPVs. Only a company that is built on good will goes through everything AEW has went through for these past 4 years and still feel like this is their time.
37816.01.2023Daigotsu10.0AEW brought me back into pro wrestling after a long layoff. In the last year there have been more downs than normal, but even AEW's worst year is top notch wrestling.

38205.01.2023CMFunk0079.0I'm still trying to catch up to modern times. I've watched the Dynamite episodes and all of the PPVs through March 2021, so I'm almost 2 years behind. I'll catch up someday. I will say that this promotion came along at precisely the right time for me, as WWE had grown stale and had no compelling stories being told for the last few years. This promotion gave new life to Chris Jericho when Vince McMahon had decided that Jericho was too old to contribute anymore. Cody Rhodes got a place to shed Stardust from his resume. Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks, while not my favorites, got a chance to perform on a bigger stage. Plus, you have newer stars like Britt Baker, Jungle Boy, Darby Allin (I don't get his appeal, honestly), and MJF. You also have veterans like Sting, Dustin Rhodes, Tazz, and more giving some cred to the younger generation. They managed to be entertaining during a pandemic. How could I not love this spiritual resurrection of WCW?
38302.01.2023Jaycob AEW will forever likely be my top promotion, It provides generally exactly what I am looking for in a professional wrestling show. Their PPVs are world-class, plus seeing many top talents from other promotions throughout the world makes each week exciting.
38431.12.2022Le Main Event Been watching professional wrestling since the 80s, but religiously since the Attitude era. After over a decade of mostly subpar WWE PG/family/casual programming and no major alternative since WCW, AEW stormed into the wrestling world with a more mature, gritty product for the hardcore/smarks fans but with the budget and presentation of a mainstream product. With excellent live events and by far the best crowd in any wrestling organization today, I'm happy to report that I wouldn't wanna watch wrestling in any other way. Simply put, AEW reinvigorated my passion for professional wrestling.

39317.12.2022The Undertalker8.0Wenn ich mir die wöchentliche Dynamite-Ausgabe anschaue, hab ich danach fast immer ein gutes Gefühl. Ich mag AEW lieber, als ich z. B. TNA jemals gemocht habe.

39730.11.2022TooDarkMark10.0The most consistently entertaining professional wrestling company since the 1990's. I am enthralled by the matches, storytelling, pushes, builds, and the presentation. I am a fan for life, and I look forward to watching Dynamite and Elevation weekly. I also try to keep up with Dark and Dark Elevation, which can be difficult. But Dark especially you can almost just listen to as a podcast. I have ordered every PPV and enjoyed every one of them immensely. I have also been to four live shows and each one has been amazing. Out of 100's of live professional wrestling shows I have attended since the 1980's, AEW's live shows have been in top 5%. 10/10.
39830.11.2022CommisarRobe7.0Overall the AEW product is good, however recently the company seems a lot more interested in "exciting free agent reveals" than purely focusing on pure wrestling elements, overall a decent promotion and opponent to the WWE. Dynamite is often a better weekly show than RAW and there seems to be more consistently interesting matches at AEW than compared to the other major promotions. That being said, in 2022 WWE has vastly improved whereas it would appear AEW is somewhat on a decline, hit with tonnes of backstage drama [The CM PUNK affair] and dodgy booking. Not too mention that the AEW women's division is criminally under-utilised
