Isn? t this the company that is booked by a senile 75 year-old man who does not watch other wrestling than his own product and re-writes his content while its on-air? So yeah, this company is the biggest in the world, and you may think that is because of wrestlers like Ricochet, Nakamura, Castagnoli, Steen, Generico, Tommy End, Keith Lee, War Raiders, Samoa Joe, KUSHIDA, Riddle, Hojo and many more, but not, its led by world-class wrestler such as Braun Strowman, Bray Wyatt, Nia Jax and Bobby Lashley. The company that pushes the same wrestlers over and over and over again Orton, Cena, Goldberg, Lesnar, Reigns, Rollins, Charlotte and others have sustained the core of this company for the past 20 years. How are they going to advance into the future if your current stars are the same that the ones you had well over a decade ago, if the talent that you do not even have under contract doesn? t wrestle for 6 months and if your storylines are always the same with different wrestlers. A promotion that blatantly ignores wrestlers past in other companies, that makes world-class talent to train in the Performance Center so they can wrestle the (not so) critically acclaimed WWE style of wrestling, so they can have almost 50 matches a month. And if you still are not convinced that WWE is not the company that should represent pro wrestling in the world here are some other reasons: most of the wrestlers who either have been fired or demanded their release have explained stories that will make you not want to work for them, they do not let wrestlers evolve on their characters, cut their own promos and they have JBL under contract, someone who harassed a working partner of his. So yeah, I could still go on but I do not have enough space in 3000 characters to detail why they are not the apropiate promotion to represent this beautiful sport. I will give them this two points because they got me in pro wrestling but nothing more. |

Overall, I recognise that the in-ring style of WWE is largely not for me, accept for the period of 2002-2006 I don't think WWE really delivered consistent good in-ring entertainment, but this is probably because I prefer Japanese or Southern Rasslin' or even old European Catch style matches. Lots of the "highlights" of the Hulkamania era for me are just slow, basic matches that don't engage me (although weirdly I do enjoy Hogan v Andre), and I find the attitude era to have been the definition of a mixed bag, so the two golden eras of WWF slightly let me down, current WWE's in ring product is....fine, but as I said, its just not my style. I'm also one of those people who watches wrestling for the wrestling and WWE prefers to focus on promo's and storyline segments, which personally doesn't do it for me. All that being said the WWE has produced some of the best matches of all time and some iconic teams and stables, so I can't be too harsh. But its worth noting that WWE also wasted some of the best opportunities in wrestling with the Invasion storyline and the re-vamped ECW. A 7 is probably fair but its far from a favourite of mine. |

And it's made the childhood of millions of people. But over the course of the last decade, it's been severely hit or miss. And despite being the biggest company, I wouldn't jump to say it's the best. So my rating will change every year. For the year of 2022, it started out very odd, and was seemingly just going to be another alright year. However, after the retirement of Vince McMahon (who, whether you like his character or not, is an irl piece of shit and deserves everything he's getting), and the moving in of Triple H as the director for the storylines and wrestling, WWE has had the BIGGEST improvement it's had in SEVERAL years, in just a span of almost 4 months. Every week feels more important in terms of shows, and while not every show is perfect or as good as the others since Triple H has taken over, it's NOWHERE NEAR as how it was just months ago when Vince was still in charge. And that shows we are truly in for a new era for the company. An era that I am EXTREMELY excited for. |

Wenn die WWE nur etwas mehr auf das 2te W in ihrem namen bauen würde, dann wären die Ratings und die Buyrates in den letzten Jahren auch nicht so in den Keller gefallen, TV-PG ist der größte Mist den die WWE jemals eingeführt hat, ein Großer Teil der Zuschauer soll Minderjährig sein? Also die WWE hatte selbst mal vor gar nicht allzu langer Zeit selbst geschrieben das 21% ihrer Zuschauer unter 18 sein sollen. 1/5 sind Kinder... aber stellen wir es mal als Großteil hin, wie die WWE. Ich will nicht unbedingt solche Blut Schlachten wie von Ric Flair oder Eddie Guerrero sehen, aber zum Wrestling gehört einfach etwas Blut, ich rede jetzt nicht von dem Kratzer an Sheamus' Nase. Besides, WWE is more an entertainment company than a pro wrestling promotion. Famous Chinese writer Wang Xiaobo once said that low quality films cultivate low-level audiences, for me WWE is a low quality promotion(because what they provide is not pro wrestling at all), and they are cultivating low-level audiences that don't know how to appreciate pro wrestling at all, and that's not conducive to the development of this industry, especially considering that many people's first impression of pro wrestling comes from WWE. Maybe WWE is very successful, but I don't like success, I love professional wrestling. |

Aber trotzdem hat diese Liga in der Vergangenheit immer vieles richtig gemacht und ist damals zu Recht als Sieger aus den Monday Night Wars hervorgegangen. Natürlich ist VKM jr. dort auch radikal und kauft im Notfall eine Promotion auf etc. aber trotzdem, so ist es eben, der große frisst den kleinen. Trägt zwar nicht zwangsläufig zur Qualität eines Produktes bei, aber so ist es nunmal. Aber viele der schlechten Bewertungen rühren auch daher, dass man einfach denkt alles müsste weiterhin so sein wie in der geliebten Attitude Ära. Als noch viel Blut spritzen durfte und man einfahc machen konnte was man will. Leider ist dies ja nicht mehr möglich, PG Era sei dank. Dafür ist einfach zu viel passiert. Aber trotzdem macht die Liga doch noch ein relativ guten Job, trotz dieser Einschränkungen. Und wer kann schon behaupten, ständig und überall richtige Entscheidungen zu treffen. Die WWE hatte auch damals, Mitte/Ende 80 bis zur Mitte der 90er eine solche Phase, in der man sehr Familienfreundlich war, aber naja, so ist der lauf der Dinge. Irgendwann wird sich die WWE auch wieder fangen, es wird wieder neue möglichkeiten geben und dann haben wir wieder ein Produkt wie wir es lieben und nahezu alle zufrieden mit sind. |

Außerdem enttäuscht mich die WWE immer mehr und mehr.. die letzten beiden WrestleManias waren ja wohl ein Witz, aber da sieht man, dass die WWE immer mehr abbaut. Wenn ich ehrlich sein soll, die WWE wird mir immer mehr ''egaler'' und das ist bei mir wirklich nicht zu erwarten, aber es trifft derzeit einfach ein, derzeit eine sehr schwache Liga. Übrigends versaut die Liga sich durch Live Events immer mehr die Wrestler, eine Verletzung der anderen, die Live Events sind einfach ein zu hohes Verletzungsrisiko. Und wenn ich die Live Events jetzt auch noch bewerten soll... Da gewinnen NUR Faces, das ist doch pure Geldverschwendung, was soll ich da? Da gehe ich lieber zur wXw oder sowas. |

Die WWE wird sicher nie mehr an die großen Zuschauererfolge der 80er und 90er herankommen doch nach wie vor ist die WWE die bekannteste Liga der Welt und die Hallen sind trotzdem gut besucht. Auch nicht Wrestling Fan haben schon von der WWE gehört. Zur Zeit ist die WWE auch wieder stark in den deutschen Medien zu finden. Vor allem auf bild. de ließt man zur Zeit einiges über die WWE. Es ist gut das die WWE wieder so im deutschsprachigen Raum Aufmerksamkeit bekommt. Viele damalige Superstars sind nicht mehr da doch das ist normal es gehen und kommen immer wieder neue Wrestler zu WWE. Das war schon immer so. Zur Zeit mach die WWE einfach Spaß da man schon einen guten Roster hat mit Leuten die man schon auch aus dem Indy Bereich kennt wie Rollins, Cesaro, Daniel Bryan, Ambrose und so weiter. Auch die Tag Team Division ist ordentlich besetzt auch wenn sie natürlich nicht an die golden 80er, die 90er und unter anderem die Zeit Anfang 2000 mit E&C, Dudley Boyz und Hardy Boyz heranreicht. Edit 21.11.2021 es gibt so viel was mich bei den Leuten Backstage wütend macht da sind auch die vielen Entlassungen der vergangen Monate und vieles auf Grund von Sparmaßnahmen. Genieße ich weiterhin das WWE Produkt' Ja es ist für mich nicht das Roster was ich kritisieren sondern Leute wie Nick Khan. |

Nicht ohne Grund ist man wieder bei den Rating von vor 20 Jahren angekommen und seit fast 15 Jahren mittlerweile völlig irrelevant im Main Stream. |

And since then, every time I've tried to get back into it, I haven't managed to. But anything before that time I still love, even (some of) the New Generation stuff! Because of all those great memories, and decades of awesome shows, as well as the impact it had on professional wrestling in the English language world (and beyond) I would definitely give it an 8. This despite the fact that I haven't watched that much of it in 20-ish years since. |

Die Storylines sind nicht kreativ und weisen zu wenig tiefe auf bzw. sind immer wieder die gleichen. Es ist eine leichte Verbesserung erkennbar, allerdings ist es noch ein langer Weg bis man die alte Stärke zurückerlangt. |
