Wenn zum xten Mal Cena und Orton im Mainevent augewärmt wird, obwohl viele Talente in der Midcard versauern, da (oder obwohl) sie nicht aggressive nach oben streben (können) oder kommerziell nicht mit den Alteingesessenen mithalten, zeugt das von mangelndem Mut, wie man ihn noch aus den Attituden kannte. Allerdings hat sich dahingehend seit der NXT-Zeit doch einiges bewegt, blickt man auf die Entwicklung von Bryan, Shield, Zayn, Cesaro oder Punk, was wohl auch Levesques Einfluss hinter den Kulissen zu verdanken ist, der die Stagnation des McMahon-Imperiums erkannt hat (für die er selber mitverantwortlich war). Die Früchte dieser Züchtungen werden sich wohl endgültig im Jahrzehnt nach WM30 ernten lassen. Vorbildcharakter mögen überdies die Drogen-/Wellnesspolitik, die Make-a-Wish-Aktionen für kranke Kinder und die Tributshows für die im Ausland stationierten Soldaten haben. |

Examples are questionable booking, hot potato title reigns, part-timer champion, failed to push new talents, unnecessary releases, backstage politics, cheap nostalgia, etc. When WCW folded in 2001, WWE became the only dominant wrestling company. Unfortunately, it brought the worst of the company especially when WWE turned into PG. Many of the wrestling fans stopped watching because of the absurdity of the content. WWE hasn't been the same since the Attitude Era, the fun and magic of wrestling was gone. Some of the bookings were trying to insult our intelligence. It seems that the product doesn't care about quality but profit. Glad that there are emerging wrestling promotions out there to provide an alternative to wrestling fans in case WWE failed to meet our expectations. Surely WWE is the bigger platform for wrestler's exposure but the problem with treating their talent is what I am concerned of. At least, Triple H created his pet project, NXT, and somehow became watchable because of indie wrestling feel to it. I don't know if I'm going to have faith on somehow the company will improve, as I am waiting for the last 15 years to improve. Look, I'm not hating the product, I just want the WWE to be great also since it is the largest wrestling company in the world. Good thing when Triple H took over in 2022, the wrestling has somehow improved a little bit. And in terms of creating moments and amazing video packages, WWE provides it. |

Manch einer übertreibt auch noch damit, dass er nur diese ausführt, siehe ORTON. Die Kombination sind immer die selben, siehe CENA. Wenn man lange genug dabei ist, wirds auf Dauer viel zu vorhersehbar. Warum macht die WWE das? Warum darf nur EVAN BOURNE die Shooting Star Press ausführen? Gibt es nach HBKs Rücktritt nie wieder einen, der den Superkick ausführt? Aber den meisten scheint das nicht zu stören, denn die Wrestler, die mit Abstand am wenigsten zeigen oder zeigten, wie THE ROCK, SCSA, ORTEN oder CENA werden geliebt. Dennoch gibt es viel Positives für mich, was insbesondere an Leuten wie CM PUNK, DANIEL BRYAN oder ZIGGLER liegt. Auch gibt es viele hoffnungsvolle Talente, wie bspw. SWAGGER oder RHODES, die das Zeug haben, in Zukunft für tolles Wrestling zu sorgen. |

First the main roster, for better or the worst, the product has definitely changed in the last two years, being more match oriented. The weekly shows are still very much troppy but in a slightly different way. RAW is still unwatchable being three hours so i can really only speak on Smackdown. The flow of the show itself has actually gotten worse? like there is less engagement for the audience to keep watching till the end. On the other hand, overall storylines became a lot more engaging, so it makes a pretty good experience just wanting PPVs. 6 out of 10 would be fair. Now NXT. This should go down the record of possibly the best NXT years ever. Even the best Black and Gold, the weekly shows are rather bland. after a few years of finding its position, NXT has become such a densely packed show full of interesting angles crisscrossing with excellent tv matches. Not a single PPV has been a flop, battleground being one of the best this year. Especially considering the quality of talent they are working with, it's honestly a miracle. We look at the rise of Dragunov, Trick Williams, The Creeds, Valkaria, Stratton, Dragon Lee, Thea Hail, etc, they rarely stay on something, rather headstrong at moving on to create the next big thing. A lot of them are getting put into the main roster, and judging from people thinking these homemade talents are being underutilized as if they are Sami Zayn and Cesaro, that's truly a success. I would go out a limp to say that people sent from the main roster has hurt the product more than helping. Stay in their line, and NXT might get a 10/10, now it's still a 9/10. |

Jeder der mit Pro - Wrestling in Berührung kommt, hat schonmal von der WWF oder später WWE gehört. Für viele Außenstehende ist die WWE ein Synonym für Wrestling, genauso wie die UFC für MMA ist. Ich kann der Liga nichts mehr abgewinnen, was allerdings wenig mit dem Produkt an sich zu tun hat, sondern eher mit dem was die WWE mittlerweile ist und das ist Big Business. Alle Geschenisse rund um Vince McMahon, sein Abschied und die Rückkehr, das Umdichten der Wrestling Geschicht um die WWE immer ins positive Licht zu Rücken, Millarden Geschäfte mit Saudi-Arabien und der allgemeine Umgang mit den freiberuflichen Wrestlern sind nur ein paar Beispiele die mir gegen den Strich gehen. Die Pandemie und die Entlassungen von zig Wrestlern während dieser, im Wissen das viele von Ihnen keine Alternative haben, weil kein Indy-Wrestling stattfinden konnte, das ganze dann als Budget-Cuts zu bezeichnen um kurze Zeit später im nächsten Quartalsreport neue Rekordgewinne zu verkünden, waren dann der Punkt an dem ich für mich entschlossen habe: Ich will und werde diese Liga nicht weiter unterstützen! |

Obwohl die WWE mit ihrem 2018 Roster das beste hat was sie jemals hatten. Das Booking der Matches ist teilweise miserabel und es gibt mir zu viele Lücken Matches in PPV´s. Man merkt das sich die WWE mehr an Unterhaltung orientiert anstatt den eigentlichen Sport das ? WRESTLING´. Es ist an der Zeit das Vince McMahon seinen Thron Triple H übergibt, weil er in NXT einen hervorragenden Job macht. Die PPV sind sehr gut gebookt und erhalten sehr solide Zeiten. Mahal ist eine Katastrophe, Lesnar ist langweilig, Strowman ist für seine Größe sicher nicht schlecht, aber Big Man fand ich mit Ausnahme von Big Van Vader und Bam Bam schon immer langweilig und Reigns finde ich so unglaublich mittelmäßig unf für einen Dauer-Main Eventer extrem charismafrei und einschläfernd. Bleibt zu hoffen, dass AJ den Rumble gewinnt und Mahal squashen darf. Denn selbst der wohl beste Wrestler auf dem Planeten (neben Okada und Omega) wird die Nulpe Mahal nicht zu einem 3* Match ziehen könne, fürchte ich. |

Größter Kritikpunkt ist aus meiner Sicht, dass immer wieder ringerisch limitierte Wrestler (Hogan, Triple H, Batista, etc. ) an die Spitze gestellt wurden, während wesentlich talentiertere Leute es entweder nicht in die Hauptshows geschafft haben (Chris Hero, Colt Cabana, Nigel McGuiness... ) oder in der Midcard (William Regal, John Morrison oder Cesaro) versauerten. Fest steht aber, dass die WWE der Maßstab für alle anderen Promotionen der Welt und unumstrittener Weltmarktführer ist und sich die Liga immer wieder neu erfunden hat und ihrem eigenen Produkt eine neue Richtung gegeben hat, weshalb ich der Liga nur die Höchstnote geben kann. |

Ich finde so ein Kleinkram wie TNA können wir nicht gebrauchen, das finde ich Quatsch. Meiner Meinung nach könnten sie so welche wie Curt Hawkins oder Rey Mysterio jetzt zu TNA schicken, vorallem Rey, dessen Zeit schon abgelaufen ist. It´s Sin Cara time now. |

If not for WWE, I would not be into wrestling, so I have to give them the highest. Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage had (imo) the best storyline in the history of wrestling in 1988-1989 and then they lost me in 1995 with stupid gimmicks like Isaac Yankem and T.L. Hopper. But thankfully, the Attitude Era and Monday Night Wars came along and the Steve Austin Vs. Vince McMahon feud hooked me back into it. It hasn't been a perfect company. The current product doesn't do a ton for me. There's been countless scandals, like the steroid trial and sexual misconduct allegations, but whether I'd like to admit it or not, it's always going to be my favorite company and I will always come back to it. |

I'm not sure who WWE is booking for, but it isn't for wrestling fans. Dropping them from 7 to 3. |
