30406.01.2023FrankCostanza695.0Not sure how to rate WWE. On one hand, it's the promotion that got me excited about wrestling during the attitude era, so i have a nostalgic passion for the older stuff. On the other hand, I've not really enjoyed much they've done in the last 10 years outside of some Daniel Bryan stuff. Not to mention that with more access and information regarding their business practices that its pretty offputting and gross. Glad their monopoly has died [down] in the last half decade. Decided to give 'em a 5 and split the difference of youthful exuberance and mature(ish) understanding.
30505.01.2023Mutoism5.0Different CEO same shows, I do not get the hype surrendig this company, considering all the bad it has produced to the wrestling history
30605.01.2023CMFunk00710.0I wasn't prepared to go the full monty for this company, but I have to admit, they were the first company to hook me back in the '80s. If not for WWE, I would not be into wrestling, so I have to give them the highest. Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage had (imo) the best storyline in the history of wrestling in 1988-1989 and then they lost me in 1995 with stupid gimmicks like Isaac Yankem and T.L. Hopper. But thankfully, the Attitude Era and Monday Night Wars came along and the Steve Austin Vs. Vince McMahon feud hooked me back into it. It hasn't been a perfect company. The current product doesn't do a ton for me. There's been countless scandals, like the steroid trial and sexual misconduct allegations, but whether I'd like to admit it or not, it's always going to be my favorite company and I will always come back to it.

31022.12.2022arkhamoutlaw100.0One of the most unethical companies in the world. Responsible for deaths, worker exploitation, criminal business associations with fascistic states, rampant sexual misconduct from their former boss of 40 years. The list goes on. Done more damage for wrestling than success, helped kill the broad spectrum of wrestling across America and watered down the image of contemporary wrestling for an entire generation until AEW came around. There has been a wide array of perfect, incredible matches from WWE's decades of talent, but they are a damaging, cruel company that has so many skeletons in their closet.

31406.12.2022sbg202210.0What a whirlwind WWE has been on. They've been on a roller coaster in the wrestling business so to speak. I mean, they've had more ups and downs than an elevator attendant. Nevertheless, for all their faults, they've done better than their misgivings.
31505.12.2022Pinecone7068.0Even though WWE has gone through its ups and downs quality wise throughout the years. Triple H as the new head of creative has really started to reinvigorate the product, and makes me look forward to almost every show.

32025.11.2022butler71182 As the old song goes: The Old Grey Mare, she ain? t what she used to be. And I believe it? s all due to the sensitive society that we live in today. They have succumbed to the wishes of Woke culture and the PG product just isn? t for guys like me that love to see blood.
32121.11.2022dirkd048.0Many people would only point out the flaws of the company. I agree that the WWE may have it's flaws, but it also has a history of consistently entertaining its audience. Whether the Attitude Era or the PG Era, the WWE has had entertaining content that appeal to various tastes. And the WWE is one of the only companies that gives its talent the most opportunities. Many dismiss this, but I see it as very important. If you are a contracted wrestler to the WWE, you would surely get a chance to shine either as part of a stable, a tag team, or as a singles wrestler. Sure it is not everyone the company pushes, but those who do not make it since the introduction NXT only have themselves to blame for not making themselves relevant. If you watch Beth Phoenix's documentary, you would understand how hard it was back then to secure a spot with the WWE despite how talented you may be. My only problem with the company is that it values profit over wrestling which is why wrestlers with little skill like Roman Reigns and Bianca Belair remain in the title picture. But for maintaining it's position as head of the wrestling table, for giving us the Attitude Era, NXT, Stonecold Steve Austin, The Rock, John Cena, The Game, The Undertaker and so much more. I gotta give them an 8.0

33106.11.2022TSwifty5.0I'm rating this company based solely on their product from the 2000's to the present because I haven't watched much before that. But I'm mostly rating the 2010's and onwards as I've been watching fairly consistently. There's been very bad lows, all-time awful lows (mocking dead wrestlers, horrific PPVs, Saudi Arabia, burying talent). Some storylines have been absurd in the best ways possible. The entertainment value cannot be denied even if there's been A LOT of boring periods. I'm not going to pretend like there's been massive changes to the writing or format since Vince's departure. HHH has brought a lot of guys back and there's more of a focus on workrate, but the 'WWE feel' is never going to go away. There's always going to be sports entertainment in this product, and that's not entirely a bad thing. I think people overlook what this company has gotten right. Wrestling would be dead without WWE. This company has created the biggest names in wrestling history, and the only real big money draws in wrestling today (Lesnar, I guess Roman too) are here.

33330.10.2022SiriusBlack10.0This goes without saying, whilst you can complain about what not, there is a reason that WWE is the biggest and most viewed wrestling promotion in the world.
33426.10.2022ZachTheOddBall8.0WWE is a really complex company in terms of wrestling. It pushed the foundation of professional wrestling and twisted it in so many ways. And it's made the childhood of millions of people. But over the course of the last decade, it's been severely hit or miss. And despite being the biggest company, I wouldn't jump to say it's the best. So my rating will change every year. For the year of 2022, it started out very odd, and was seemingly just going to be another alright year. However, after the retirement of Vince McMahon (who, whether you like his character or not, is an irl piece of shit and deserves everything he's getting), and the moving in of Triple H as the director for the storylines and wrestling, WWE has had the BIGGEST improvement it's had in SEVERAL years, in just a span of almost 4 months. Every week feels more important in terms of shows, and while not every show is perfect or as good as the others since Triple H has taken over, it's NOWHERE NEAR as how it was just months ago when Vince was still in charge. And that shows we are truly in for a new era for the company. An era that I am EXTREMELY excited for.
33526.10.2022FEEBLE6.0The biggest on the game, entertainment and avarage wrestling. But it definitely has improveed since Vince's departure.

33916.10.2022TeamCanadaTwoPointOh1.0So bad for so long, but with Vince gone and Triple H in charge, there are certainly things to look forward to now. WWE is not all bad, but it hasn't been good for at least a decade, so maybe with a new brain on top things will change for the better. The 1 comes from their business practices and insulating an abusive megalomaniac in Vince for so long.
34016.10.2022Eyapap10.0WWE is the best wrestling company in the world! In addition, since Triple H arrived at the head of the company the matches are even better, and the shows too!

34409.10.2022li0nsault8.0WWE has improved a lot since Triple H took over. The storylines are more interesting and engaging, but there are always questionable decisions. After all, not everyone can be satisfied with the same thing. Before the Triple H era, it would have been a 5 or 6 for me.

34605.10.2022AlabamaSlamma0.0This company has become completely unwatchable over the last 15 years. Absolutely terrible overproduction/overpolishing of everything from the promos, commentary, matches, wrestler's attire, entrance themes, entrance vids, stage and ring setups, etc. Everything is covered in nauseating LEDs. Their setups look like bad fox game show sets. The way they run production you'd think they just grabbed some rando off the street. Way too many camera cuts, shakes, and zoom in-and-outs. Cringe, boring, stale, and lame are just a few words I would use to describe this show. WWE was great from around '97 to 2003. It was pretty good from 2004 to 2007. Then sometime around 2008, it started its downhill slope. I don't understand how anyone can sit through more than 5 minutes of any of their shows. That company needs a complete overhaul of EVERYTHING. They're a shell of their former self. Sad.
34704.10.2022MCSPICY10.0WWE is the best promotion of all time. No doubt there. They are the OGs and deserve all the respect. Best company in the world for sure.
34804.10.2022ABQMIKE7.0It'll always be a love/hate relationship for me. PPVs are top notch usually but it's the in between that they lost me. I'm sure I'll give them another try sometime again.

35322.09.2022CuriousChicano Raw & SmackDown haven? t been consistently good since 2017. NXT died in 2019 with the switch to 2 hours. Hopefully Triple H can bring both back to the short-lived renaissance of 2011-2017 WWE. Stopped watching LIVE in late 2020.

36006.09.2022MMSuperBoyo8.0WWE is a hard company to rate. 2000 was its best year IMO. 2009 was its worst. But no matter how good or bad it is, WWE is the most important wrestling company in history. With Vince gone, the main roster product has stepped up. It will never be as good as it once was, but it is what it is. (Also they? ve made some of the best wrestling games ever.)
36105.09.2022GwenCube645.0I love this company when it's doing good things, but don't give a toss when it's at it's worst. A very inconsistent company that has all time moments, promos, matches, and wrestlers, while also having some of the most botched storylines, pushes, and business decisions I have ever seen.

38106.08.2022DaxHardwood6.0Once a great promotion, now feels like it has lost IT. Will the recent changes affect the current product in some way remains to be seen, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
38205.08.2022CROWNS UP Jannis All matches were fun. The new Trio of Bayley, Dakota and Iyo is absolute fire! I didn't watch Raw since almost 3 years and this really blew my mind. There wasn't a mega banger but nothing bad too.

38731.07.2022joethom5.0It's hard to rank WWE overall but in general the interest in them is a mix. Live they sell out arenas and online they are reviled. I think they are a stale product in presentation, production and promos. In ring has at times bailed them out. Raw and Smackdown are both rough television shows. NXT and NXT UK seem to garner little interest online but are solid. The quality of the matches, finishes aside is still good but not satisfying.
38831.07.2022CSTLW5.0When talking about its history, yes, it could very much be called the greatest American wrestling promotion ever, but ever since the attitude era wrapped up, WWE has lost its It factor, with a few exceptions (Cena, Orton, Hardy, Reigns among others). I hate to bring up the other promotion in my review for WWE, but ever since AEW came into the mix, WWE has been looked at under a microscope, and it shows just how bad management has become. Vince in charge, johnny ace at talent relations, bruce pritchard at creative, none of it is good. Plus, with everything that comes out about vince just makes me dislike it more. For its history, it gets a 9/10, for its current product, it gets a 0. This is just a kids show now. Hopefully with vince gone and triple h in charge things can change, but i doubt much will change in the near future.

39324.07.2022Ozzy10.0WWE back in its prime was the top draw with all the talent and had all eyes on it putting out great matches and great shows and paperviews on a near weekly basis. During the attitude era the WWF was the greatest there was to watch in my opinion with Stone Cold, HHH, The Undertaker, and the Rock being 4 of the al time greatest to ever do it, not to mention New Gen with HBK Bret Hart, and Razor, and Golden era with Flair, Macho, and Ricky Steamboat. The history of WWE is the reason why i still have a love for this promotion, currently the promotion has gone down in quality a ton, with annoying storylines (more than val venis with the choppy choppy thing) and repetative matches with one semi entertaining star vs an untalednted, lacking, good for nothing nobody of a superstar that has no real reason for being within the wrestling ring. All the woke stuff and all the dumb gimmicks that have overstayed their welcome have ruined this company during the modern point, while their waisting talent at the bottom of the heap to only push the talent they want on top because of their race or last name. I give them an 10 remembering all the good things of the past back before the PG era. New era/current WWE id give like a 3 though
39419.07.2022Macho Sadness10.0
39515.07.2022Muggo8.0For the majority of WWE's existence, they've been at the top of the wrestling mountain, purely because they were able to get to a national level before the competition, which led them to have access to all the best wrestlers in America and Canada, but as soon as they basically monopolized the Wrestling Industry, they've not done a good job improving that Monopolies value, and in more recent times, the product has been below average at best, despite having the best talent and best resources in wrestling. In terms of overall impact, it's impossible not to go lower than an 8, but I'd give them a 5 for their current situation.
39614.07.2022MichaelB137182 Lets be honest, if WWE was really that awful why is it still the number one promotion in the world. 10/10 from me.
