[9.0] "I'm giving this a nine simply because of the arcade version! When I was growing up in the late 90s and early 00s, I used to visit arcades regularly and the first game I would check for was this one. It was so much fun to play, and I absolutely loved being the Undertaker in Survival Mode."
[6.0] "I like how they decided to go a little wacky with this game it's not really like any other pro wrestling game before or after and whether that's a good or a bad thing can really depend on why you play wrestling games but at least they tried something creative."
[10.0] "Am awesome game from my 1990's childhood. Inspired by Mortal Kombat and captivated me back in the day. This game still puts a smile on my face to this day."
[9.0] "By far my favourite wrestling game ever. It's dynamic, it's over-the-top, it's silly and it's tonnes of fun - just like actual wrestling. It may not have a whole lot of depth and mechanically it's just a slightly tweaked Mortal Kombat 3, but that's what makes it easy to pick up and have a blast, especially with some friends. There's a nice selection of eight characters who are varied enough to allow you to pick a favourite or two, but all of them are quite easy to play. The game only has two modes - Intercontinental Championship and World Wrestling Federation Championship - which are essentially just difficulty levels; in both of them the action becomes more chaotic as you progress through the fight, with up to four guys in the ring at the same time and while things can get unfair, that only makes it all the more fun. So overall this game may not have made me feel like an actual wrestler, but it never fails to give me a big grin. Oh yeah, and Vince MacMahon himself is one of the commentators."
[4.0] "Overrated game! Very cartoonish and reminds me of mortal kombat or street fighter. Exciting and fast action but boring. Very limited roster with weird stuff that would come out of each wrestlers action like pail of water or dumb bells. Weird game!"
[7.0] "Witziges, schön übertriebenes Wrestling/Kampfspiel mit Mortal Kombat-Einflüssen. Geht durch das Bottom Smashing eher mehr in die Richting Beat em Up und man merkt deutlich, dass die Macher, nun ja, nicht wirklich das Ziel hatten Wrestling so realistisch wie möglich rber zu bringen, was aber durchaus in Ordnung geht, weil das Spieltempo einfach dadurch viel höher wurde. Macht mit ein paar Freunden und ein paar Bierchen recht Laune."
[7.0] "War vom Ansatz mal was ganz anderes und eben nicht ganz ernst gemeint, wie die jungs da durch die gegend gehüpft sind und Doink seinen riesen Hammer ausgepackt hat usw. Aber im Grunde dennoch ein gutes Game, leider mit zu wenig Spielmodi und auch für seine Zeit einen viel zu kleinen Roster, deshalb war der langzeitspaß nicht so groß."
[8.0] "Klar, die Spielkonsolen Versionen waren nix, aber die Arcade Version wusste zu gefallen. Dieses Spiel müsste man nicht richtig als Wrestling Simulation sehen, sondern man müsste es als eine art Wrestling Spiel in NBA Jam Format sehen. Dank den verrückten moves und das over-the top Konzept kann ich es nur positiv bewerten."
[7.0] "Das positive am Spiel war die Dynamik, die tollen Charaktermodelle, die sehr authentisch wirken und vielen Details rund um den Ring. Vor allem gibt es aber endlich 2 schöne Einzelspielermodi, dafür aber keine ECHTEN Tagmatches, keine sonstigen Gimmickmatches, keine Gegenstände und nur wenig Charaktere. Geschmackssache ist das Special-Move überladene Kampfsystem, wahrscheinlich als Reaktion auf den Erfolg der Street Fighter Spiele. Ich fand es für die Zeit recht lustig und fast so gut wie RAW."
[2.0] "Oha. Nach dem genialen RAW ein neues Konzept. Und wirklich kein gutes! Ein komisches Comic-Prügelspiel mit mauer Spielbarkeit. War damals eine Enttäuschung für mich und heute macht das Game gar nix mehr her. Schade!"
[2.0] "Also diesem Spiel konnte ich nach kurzer Zeit gar nichts mehr abgewinnen. Die Grafik war damals sensationell realistisch, aber das Spiel selbst dafür umso weniger."
[4.0] "Die unrealistischen Elemente des Games haben mir schon damals mit 13 Jahren nicht wirklich gefallen und ich kann mich bis heute nicht so recht damit anfreunden."
[10.0] "Jaaaaaa. Da waren noch Zeiten. Habe das Spiel geliebt und werde es bald m, al wieder rauskramen. Unglaubliches Acardefeeling. Keine Spur Realismus. Also ein typisches WWE Produkt ;) Toll war der Taker der mit Grabsteinen zuschlug, Yokos Salzwurf und so weiter. Grafisch eigentlich ganz top. Lediglich der Tombstone des Takers war kein inverted Pildedriver. egal. Das Spiel ist Kult!"
