[7.0] "A limited game with the oddest physics engine I've ever seen in a wrestling game. CAW mode was poor. But other than that a fun game to play with friends. ***1/2"
[6.0] "Ugly graphics, ugly music, notable themes have been replaced with WWE's network dub themes, Poor CAW mode. The only interesting things about this game was some wacky stuff that the game would somehow let you do. Like going after the Tag belts with women or Big Show being able to challenge for the Lightheavyweight title. I guess I could say being able to win famous belts from different promotions too - WCW's (prototype) Hardcore title being just one that I can remember."
[6.0] "Not a bad game but its gets boring. The roster is limited, the action is alright and have the same health bars as the AKI games like WCW vs NWO World Tour, Wresltemania 2000 and No Mercy. This was the first game for Nintendo to ahve a vibrate and rumble on the controls. Nintendo had a bit of a hiatus with wrestling games from late 2000 to mid 2002. The comeback was good but not a successful. The modes are okay but no career mode. The music is too old and garbage."
[2.0] "Essentially a beta to test out the capabilities GCN that got unleashed unto a naive public. They would repeat this mistake years later with 2K15, but at least that had a polish and clearly a lot of effort put into it. X8 has no story mode, with a single player randomized tier system that harkens back to goddamn Revenge, a minuscule roster when even compared to previous N64 entries, an egregiously gutted create-a-wrestler mode that makes 2K15 look like Fire Pro, random public domain tracks in place of actual wrestler themes, and as a little shit cherry on top, they didn't even take the time to program the proper sound effects. That's right, anytime some is hit in the ring, your ears are treated to either the sound of a woodblock or the shake of a bean bag. You attack the referee though and he would killsquash you, so that was fun at least."
Sehr unterhaltsam!"
[8.0] "Mein Einstieg in WWE.
