[8.0] "Very good opener for the show, MJF 2023 debut delivered a lot. This had amazing moves and sequences, and it was an awesome match for a weekly show - {****}"

[8.0] "Great main event, this was kind of outshined because of Kenny and Ospreay madness right before it, but I think closed the event in a proper way. It had a lot of storytelling and maybe lasted too long given the style of match they input, but I can't complain going to sleep after Okada winning it all again - {****}"

[8.0] "Loved the match! Incredible display of fast paced crazy wrestling by those Junior Heavyweights here. Insane moves and nonstop action - {****}"

[7.0] "[3.75*] I might be a little bit biased here because I am giving this the same rating as Bron and Corbin vs Axiom and Frazer which was overall a better wrestling match, but this one had such good vibes man, a lot of powerful spots like the announcers table breaking, the double cutter variation by the Wolf Dogs and the thrilling ending stretch with Breakker winning in a beautiful fashion. This was pretty well worked and built a lot of antecipation."

[8.0] "Really good match for the main event to Winter is Coming and first title defense by Maxwell. The build for this was very good and the match delivered a lot of thrill - {****}"

[8.0] "[4.0*] To be honest, this is a match rated absolutely by how much people are emotionally closed and informed about this feud, the greatest in professional wrestling history. This match has the same vibes as Samoa Joe vs CM Punk at All In, but on an even higher level. I mean, Joe and Punk had one of the best trilogies ever, Tana and Kazu had literally 17 singles matches, with the majority of them being World Title matches, including 3 WrestleKingdom Main Events. This was basically a showcase of their biggest hits and it rocked. It had a lot of references and bits and was honestly a completely joy to watch. My favorite bit of them all was they doing the Rainmaker Shock finishing sequence, 12 years after Kazuchika Okada shocked the world and took the IWGP Championship from the Ace Tanahashi on his first match back on excursion, on New Beginning 2012. This was a very emotional match and Kazu cried a lot on his entrance. The fact that he worked as a heel on his last match at the company just to reference the origins of the feud popped me a lot, lol. He got booed and Tana got cheered, just like the old days. Another notable spots were the classic High Fly Flow to the outside, something Tana should not be even allowed to do these days, but he did for Okada, and the legendary Rainmaker reversal spot ending on the Dragon Suplex by Tana. The only issue on the whole bout goes to the production, who absolutely should have given a zoom when Okada hold Tanas hand. I just know this is the kind of match I will rewatch for years to come."

[8.0] "I actually think this match was better than most people do. A very worthy main event, finally crowning MJF as a champion after a certain instability with the title. The ring action was above average, I liked, even if some people say Max and Mox doesn't have a lot of chemistry, and that ending was perfect, peak cinema with that treason by Regal. And they say AEW doesn't tell stories - {****}"

[8.0] "[4.0*] This is my new Tag Team MOTY. Incredible fast paced action with a cute little storytelling inside it. Of course the moves, sequences and spots were insane but this is already expected, I liked that the match was more than that. However, I have to make a fair criticism here: Mike Bailey got limb-worked on his legs from start to finish, how the fuck did he survive and escape the Ankle Lock, applied literally on the damaged legs, just to tap out 10 seconds later to an Octopus Hold applied on the non-worked arms? This was failed psychology and I disliked it, but highly enjoyed everything else. Awesome bout."

[7.0] "[3.75*] Man, this match was so much fun. And the best part is that it was actually pretty damn well worked too. The Man of the Match in my opinion was Big Bill, oh God, he looked like a beast. He did a Big Boss Slam after a suicide dive from Darby and this was honestly the best spot of the year in AEW."

[8.0] "Very good match and interesting dynamic, between two BCC and two J.A.S. members. This match was very fast paced and had a lot of interesting sequences and interactions. The ending was totally open and we could see all of them winning, so great production, very thrilling - {****1/4}"

[8.0] "[4.25*] Awesome TV match that almost maintained the same level from their WrestleDream match. I thought the finish was fucking incredible, perfectly executed, but there were some flaws on the flow of the match at the middle that made me give 4.5*, such as the powerbomb where Swerve got the bump on his head and then got up like nothing happened. It is still a pretty good rating to an awesome time limit draw."
291224.03.2024
15:40
[7.0] "[3.75*] Awesome hard hitting match. But, for a 12-min match (this was the televised timestamp), I think it is a little bit overrated here. No worries, it was still amazing. Very stiff bout, the strikes were beautiful. Dijaks punches are one of the best in the whole game. Really cool stuff."
291324.03.2024
15:40
[8.0] "Very good match between Hayter and Toni. Hayter got the most pop even as a heel, and the match had excellent exchanges, very hard-hitting. One of the most enjoyable women's match by AEW in the year - {****}"
291424.03.2024
15:39
[7.0] "[3.5*] I will admit, I am impressed by this rating. I do not know if I am being biased because I love both guys, but this was actually my second favorite match on the whole show. I think the David vs Goliath dynamic there was very well executed, with Oba looking like a beast and Dragon looking like a warrior. I enjoyed a lot of the spots and the only thing missing was that announcers table not being destroyed."
291524.03.2024
15:39
[8.0] "[4.0*] Awesome match and the clear Match Of The Night in my opinion. This was a spectacular tag team match with such chemistry between both teams. They had crazy and innovative ideas but the best part is when they deliver perfectly and smoothly, and they did. Awesome spots, awesome nearfalls. Stole the whole show."
291624.03.2024

[8.0] "One of the best television matches of 2022, this was awesome. MJF and Yuta have a lot of chemistry together. Perfect choice for Max first match after his return - {****}"
291824.03.2024
15:38
[8.0] "A great and very underrated match that was completely out-shined by Max incredible return and then the Brawl Out. The vibes before this were already weird and we could feel that some shit was going to explode with Punk and other members of AEW roster, so this feud felt awkward, with the squash and stuff, but the match was definitely solid and had a lot of progression and storytelling. That ending was beautiful and MJF amazing return completed well this great main event - {****1/4}"
291924.03.2024
15:38
[8.0] "Awesome match, the atmosphere and the vibes for this were amazing. This the time they figured completely out that The Acclaimed was hot as hell, super over with the crowd. This was one of the most enjoyable matches of 2022 and had an amazing ring work and drama. A very pleasant surprise - {****1/4}"
292024.03.2024
15:37
[8.0] "Really good match, amazing to have this in a zero hour. A lot of chop exchanges as expected and hard-hitting moves. They were beating each other with excellent moves and provided a banger - {****}"
292124.03.2024
15:37
[7.0] "[3.75*] This was awesome. Another under 15 minute banger for Takeshita, although I enjoyed the Darby one a very little bit more. Naruki did his job perfectly and his selling was on point. He spent the whole match putting Soup over and showing that he could not out strength him. The cannon ball into powerbomb spot was fantastic."
292224.03.2024
15:37
[7.0] "[3.75*] Very good match, although I think the stiff-ass powerbomb Ashino did on Katsu made him have some sort of injury or at least activated some protocol, because after that they stood in the ground for a lot of time talking about it and then the match ended kind of abruptly few minutes later. It is weird to see an AJPW main event having less than 20 minutes, specially with Nakajima on it, so maybe they should have reached second gear if it was not for the incident. Still a pretty good stiff fight."
292324.03.2024
15:36
[7.0] "[3.75*] Awesome feel good TV match. Bryan worked on Nagatas left leg while Yuji worked on Dragons left arm. Perfect limb-work in a greatly produced match. The commentary was also on point, specially with Eddie Kingston and the crew telling us about the story of both wrestlers. This was great television."
292424.03.2024
15:36
[7.0] "[3.75*] This was an awesome death match. I heard people going absolutely nuts for it on X, calling it a MOTYC and stuff like that, so I am very very happy that the target audience absolutely loved it. However, I am not a big fan of these kind of indy death matches, I prefer more the Kasai/Despy/Hangman kind of death match, so I did not love it on this high level, but was still a very good match with creative weapons such as the bed of forks and the door (lmfao). It was very enjoyable and Mox looked like a beast, the ending stretch with the barbed wire Death Rider was sick. It was Revolvers biggest crowd ever in Dayton so props for that."
292524.03.2024
15:36
[7.0] "Its a shame that Taka didnt have many New Japan matches in this era because hes terrific. Great mix of techincal ability and areial flash. As this is a match with Kanemoto, this is worked like a techincal bout with a lot of leg lock attempts. Kanemoto showed some of his natural heelish characrittics when he stood on Takas face but Taka responded by whiping him out with a springboard moonsault into the crowd. The match escalted from there with more Jr highspots being implimented. A lot of counters and big dives being done. Takas spots inpressed the crowd the most I feel but Kanemoto did a super job being the more subtler of the two. Kanemoto wins, earning him the title shot for a few days time. Really good outing. ***1/2"
292624.03.2024
15:35
[8.0] "The best and most complete match of the night in my opinion, this was an easy-watch, the pace is so cool that looks like a sprint, doesn't seem to have 17 minutes at all. The moves were well executed, and the match had a nice little story being told, with Rollins mocking and despising Riddle, doing Orton moves, telling him that he's a nobody, and Riddle losing his mind and losing the match because of that. A great match with drama and emotion, I just thought they could sell pain a little better, but that's a detail - {****}"

[10.0] "Winner faces Kanemoto at a furture date. Its almost 30 years later so the result may be an obvious one but lets pretend nonetheless. Liger and Otani once again start with an aggressive lock up, almost their version of Choshu and Hashimotos lock up at the Tokyo Dome. Liger is able to push Otani into the ropes before the break and restart. This transitions into a great techincal exchange where Liger begins to work the leg with Otani defending, initally locking on a double wrist lcock before Liger escaped. The whole segment was really up may alley except for one isntance where Otani broke an americana to tie Ligers arm in the top rope. It was a convoluted set up and unnecary as Otani took Liger back to the floor. But once they returned to the mat, they went right back to working holds. The chain wrestling from the cross armbreaker to the oomplata to the mnodified surfboard was cool. They didnt rush throught a serioes of holds either, they worked them with serious intent behind them: the intent to submit and defend them and apply a hold themselves. Otani gets nasty at one point, throwing hard palm strikes, which Hitorri (the ref) is against. He then snaps Ligers arm across his shoulder almost as an attempt to break the arm. The match starts to progress further into the high spot style around the 15 minute mark. Liger, usually is the master techincian in the match, is bested by Otani, forcing him to explore further options like powerbombing Otani on the outside floor. But Otani is game for that as well. He hits one of his own and is able to sustain his early momentum into this part of the match too. Otani lands on his feet on a relase german and blasts Liger with a spinning wheel kick. Otani throws bomb after bomb, trying desperetly to beat Liger but Liger conitues to survive. Nearfalls get closer and closer with the crowd response getting louder and louder. Otanis momentum seems to run out when Liger lands a thunderous palm strike and mutiple brainbusters, for more nearfalls. Otani contiues to struggle and fight - and boy does he fight - but finds himself unable to put Liger away. The crowd rallies behind Otani, Kanemoto wills him on from the outside, Otani gains all the confidence in the world before he attempts the dragon suplex but cant clasp the arms and Liger hits a palm strike, and another and another. Liger hits 9 palm strikes before hitting a running one for number 10 and pins Otani. Amazing finish. I think Otani winning wouldve made this perfect but I think making Otani just one move away works ALMOST just as well. This was sensational. Fantastic grappling which then turned into a Junior Heavyweight classic with amazing storytelling. Otani beat Liger is every way. He had everything behind but but he couldnt finish the job. Absolutely great performance by Otani. Liger was a strong partner, one would want in this role. Incredible really. ****3/4"

[7.0] "Finally watching this match, I was honestly expecting more... it's not a bad match at all, but the way everyone sold and talked about, like it was the most violent and hard-hitting match of all time, made me really disappointed. I absolutely understand if a guy that only watches the WWE main roster thinks this is revolutionary and a classic match, but I can think of several matches that were extremely more stiff, and I don't need to go much deeper, Gunther/Walter has a lot, like almost every one of them in like, 2017 or 2018. It's also probably the only match I ever watch that the chop is the main storytelling, it's not something I personally appreciate, but I can understand because Sheamus is like, the whitest person ever, and of course the damage on his body will look bigger. Smart match that WWE knew how to sold, almost industry-planted I consider. It's a shame it was too soft for me, and with little variety. This one definitely didn't clicked with me like it did to some people, Gunther had an ugly botch with that powerbomb as well, and the ending with Sheamus back injury was pretty mediocre. The atmosphere was incredible though - {***3/4}"

[8.0] "[4.25*] This match was phenomenal. The TMDK were the clear MVPs of the match, with the best one being Fujita, the true star of the bout. Everyone here was great (except for Tana, sadly) and my favorite moment was Okada and Fujita at the end with an incredible sequence. The nearfalls were pretty well executed, especially after Haste and Nicholls did their finishers, I really thought they were going to win in some occasions. Pretty well worked with great nearfalls and an emotional ending stretch for Okada hitting the Rainmaker for the last time - for now - at the Korakuen Hall."
293024.03.2024
15:34
[8.0] "[4.0*] Absolutely incredible match and the best US Tag Match of the year until now. All the 4 guys were amazing but in my opinion Baron Corbin was the MVP. His sequences of bombs and plexes was unbelievable, he went crazy out there. Bron brought the fire and won with a beautiful spear and Axion/Frazer gave us the best sequence of the match with the Avalanche Spanish Fly + Phoenix Splash combo. Beautiful spotfest."
293124.03.2024
15:34
[8.0] "[4.0*] Incredible match and the obvious MOTN by far. Whoever produced this deserves a raise. They did a beast-ass 8 minute match which made people think it would have been even better if longer while in reality the whole sauce of this was literally the fact of being one of the best under-10 min World Title matches of the decade. Genius stuff, actually. Less is more. Phenomenal match."
293224.03.2024
15:33
[8.0] "It's a shame that CM Punk couldn't wrestle this dream match in Chicago against Tanahashi, but Moxley stepped up again to help and did a proper main event against Tana. The match was very enjoyable and closed out in a great way a great event - {****1/4}"
293324.03.2024
15:33
[8.0] "[4.25*] I would have given it 4.75* if it was a little bit smaller. 24 matches were we got some filler time, specially outside the ring, but when the climax hit, it was awesome. A lot of great exchanges and a great clash of power moves. Sareees german suplex is just beautiful."
293424.03.2024
15:33
[8.0] "Interesting match, I liked the dynamics in this a lot, with Cole and White lining-up as the heels and Okada and Hangman the faces. It's a shame that Adam Cole got injured there, which hurt the match, but still I thought this was better than people say and a very enjoyable match to watch. The ending was a bit botchy but didn't ruined the experience for me. Those four guys are talented as heck - {****}"
293524.03.2024
15:33
[7.0] "[3.75*] Very good match. I usually dislike long chop exchanges but this one was so damn good I was loving it. You could feel how much one guy hated each other and this made me locked into the match. I thought the ending was very creative with Gabe Kidd picking up the microphone and calling Eddie Kingston a fat bitch, which made Eddie go crazy after him for an insane post match brawl. This also implies that there is going to be another rematch and I hope this one has some stipulation to end the feud."

[8.0] "A real shame we couldn't had Bryan for this against ZSJ, but it was amazing to see Claudio debut in AEW. The match was great, a lot of exchanges and a fine showcase of technical wrestling. Very stiff and creative match - {****}"

[7.0] "Another great match here in Forbidden Door, the Bucks couldn't do their usual stuff and had to adapt more to the opponents, but this still was a very nice match to watch. That beginning sequence for the show is amazing, no misses - {***1/2}"

[7.0] "I didn't had a lot of expectations for this match but it was surprisingly awesome. [8.0] "Excellent opener for Forbidden Door, the match was great, very enjoyable to watch. This had great moments and sequences, and I loved the Eddie and Suzuki interactions. Shota Umino was great there too, one of the first times he was presented to the american public - {****1/4}"

[9.0] "What a match, if only crowd could be a little bit... hotter! ? Still great wrestling here, FTR proved me once again that they are best tag team in wrestling history for me. Great spots, near falls Claudio was outstanding in this match. 5 minutes more better crowd and it would be 5star match for me."
294324.03.2024
15:28
[9.0] "It wasn't cleanest of fights but it definitly delivered on emotional level. Both girls gave her 100% and commited fully in to this battle. Started with outside of ring brawl. We had amazing exchanges of big moves with a lot of kickouts out of 1. Loved the ending with Maika tribute to Himeka using her powerbomb and then finishing Suzu with triple Michinoku drivers. you could fill emotion and passion from both ladies, Suzu looked little bit stressed but when they switched to 5th gear and show those amazing sequences you just forgive her. Beautiful scenes after the match with Maika celebrating, and Gulia helping Suzu to move out of the building."
294424.03.2024
15:27
[9.0] "Brillant match by two of the greatest AEW wrestlers of all time. It was not clear match, there where some slip up's but you can't say it wasn't a great fight. Big time feel slow build up, technical wrestling, near falls, drama this match had it all. Don Callis didnt messed up ending witch is great- MJF wining it clear is passing of a torch for the future of AEW. I love that both of the wrestlers showed some unique not typical moves in this match. I need to say something about that WangerBomb through the table, what a spot it was. MJF proved once again that he is more then just a good talker and heel, he really can go in the ring and match the greatest in the ring. ****3/4"
294524.03.2024

[9.0] "What a fuckign battle. This type of hartd hitting fight reminded me a lot of Ishii Shibata G1 fight from years ago. Crazy fast pace and 2 girls beating shit out of each other. ****3/4*"

[8.0] "[4.25*] First of all, I think the match was great. However, they clearly tried to do an epic for their 10th and probably last singles match, at least for now. The problem is: epics work so much better with japanese crowds and sometimes the american crowds may be completely off the match, and this happened at the ending sequence where Will dramatically fell to Okadas knees before being hit with one last Rainmaker, a moment supposed to be an all timer, but instead got absolutely zero reaction, I even felt a little bit uncomfortable. An epic is divided in two parts, starting with a slow burner and then doing the dramatic ending, however, I think the structure of the match asked for at least 40 minutes, because they had 15-20 minutes of slow paced action which led to a very small climax, that should have been a little bit longer to cause more emotion. It was still a very satisfactory match, I just did not feel it for at least 60% of the match. Of course the spots with one guy stealing each others finisher was amazing, a classic spot in japanese epic matches. It had very good spots tho, probably will look like a 7* in highlight videos."
294724.03.2024
15:27
[9.0] "What a show... In my opinion best Adam Cole match in his career. Slow build, amazing wrestling, technique, sotrytelling and most important thing that other Cole matches luck great psychology. Probably my favourite dynamite match even toping Omega Danielson. And i realy like ending, for last 6 minutes i was siting on the edge off my seat. Loud crowd made a big fight feel. Superb"

15:27
[8.0] "[4.0*] My favorite match of the night right there. I am very happy to see people finally giving Hammerstone his flowers because the guy is a fucking beast. He is just a freak of nature and naturally looks like a huge star. Main event material and very complete wrestler, mixed up with the great Josh Alexander. Banger."

[7.0] "[3.75*] My second favorite match of the night. It was a pretty well executed three way where all three guys showed insane chemistry and created nice spots. A very fun spotfest."
295124.03.2024
15:26
[9.0] "What a match. One of the best openers i ever saw on wrestling ppv. Crazy non stop action, with a lot of stiff kicks, forearms and uppercuts. All guys showed greatly their abilities with Oney Lorcan being MVP. He took some crazy bumps and perform some amazing spots. And it happened in front of hot Chicago crowd. ****3/4"
295224.03.2024
15:26
[7.0] "[3.75*] Very good match to start the show and the obvious match of the night for the event. They had a plenty of time to create something solid and they did. To be quite honest I was expecting a slightly better match, something like the Hangman vs Moxley match at the Dynamite 174, but it ended up feeling a little bit softer and slower. It was still an awesome match to see with great sequences and nearfalls."
295324.03.2024
15:26
[8.0] "And they clashed again... this is a rematch based on the fact that Rollins wasn't prepared for Cody at WrestleMania, which is theoretically true, so now he deserves a chance to fight him again with knowing what to expect. Of course this didn't had the excitement of the Mania bout, for obvious reasons, but it was equally great and with different moves, but the same structure. You can even argue that the in-ring action was better, and the match was much less predictable, but some other things were below their first encounter, like the general vibe that surrounded Cody's debut and the spots. Another good match between them, and the roll-up finish made a third one completely viable - {****}"
295424.03.2024
15:25
[8.0] "Just the match you could expect from these two... a very intense and hard-hitting battle. I thought the executions were a little worst than the high standard these two have, specially by Suzuki, but nevertheless it was great to watch this clash of titans, two monsters. This was really enjoyable, probably the two most badass guys in wrestling - {****}"

[8.0] "[4.25*] I am still knowing both guys better but these are one of my favorites luchadores until now. This match is a very easy-watch, I could watch this with my girlfriend on a Sunday afternoon eating pop and we would have enjoyed it a lot. This is almost like a movie, there is no rest holds or boring stretches, everything is different, especially the pacing and construction. The 1st and the 2nd Falls were very fast, so the match kind of started to pick things up at the 3rd and last one. There were many spots that I highly liked, the reversals and sequences were top notch and the crowd was on the edge of their seats. The interesting part is that I saw the exact same mistakes Mascara Dorada did on his AEW Dynamite match he was just standing there waiting for Templario a couple of times and even slipped on the ring a little bit, which is completely normal for a 22 year old young man, lol. For these small mistakes and miscommunications I have to give it 4.25*, but I would watch it again for sure. Templario was incredible from start to finish, tho."
295624.03.2024
15:25
[8.0] "Very "simple" but at the same time good match between Rollins and the debuting Cody Rhodes, what a moment this was, just the vibes are worthy and more important than any rating, this was awesome to watch at the time. The match is typical WWE-style, some nearfalls at the end, Cody winning was never a doubt, but seeing things like a symbolic Stardust reference, Rollins doing a lot of talking during the match, adding elements to the psychology, and Cody doing a Dusty tribute at the end... the in-ring wasn't impressive but these things compensate it. Great experience - {****}"

[8.0] "Incredible fight, the crowd was awesome for this and the match ruled. Moxley and Busick traded a lot of stiff moves, and the blood really added a nice touch to the match, made it felt so brutal. This was a match that 100% fulfilled its purpose, a 10-minute brutal and believable shoot-fight - {****1/4}"

[8.0] "Amazing tag team action, very enjoyable match to watch. Punk and Mox sounded like the absolute dream team, Max reaction said it all. This had great sequences, the four of them are true masters of wrestling and its fundamentals. Incredible match filled with a lot of psychology - {****}"

[8.0] "[4.0*] The most surprising match of the night. Although I was trusting Shingo to make a decent match, this was actually AWESOME to see. A very welcome surprise in the middle of the undercard which helped to make this event a very good show. This being good alongside the 3 biggest matches added so much to this WK and I think people will never forget it. The guys nailed it and the Styles Clash was my favorite part. Simply amazing."

[8.0] "Very good match, but with a really slow build up, totally old school, feels like something from the 80s, which I found great and very unique, but not a match for everyone. This had a lot of storytelling and did well the hometown face vs cocky heel dynamic. There were excellent moments and the match had a smart progression. Proper big match and main event, that lived up to the hype and expectation, I don't think there was a better context for Punk to have his first AEW loss - {****1/4}"

[8.0] "Great match, they managed to encapsulate well the real life hate they have for each other, you could felt that in the feud and the match. This was very quick but very violent too, and with incredible moments. I think it's a very solid match, it doesn't get much better than this in 11 minutes - {****1/4}"

[8.0] "Probably one of the best blends of MMA and Wrestling of all time, this had an insane technicality and a lot of very good martial arts executions, really felt like a real fight. In my opinion if this lasted longer could've been one for the ages, amazing match - {****}"

[8.0] "Great war between Jumbo and Hansen for the triple unification that lead to the Triple Crown Championship. This had a lot of stiffness and incredible psychology, I'm glad it had a winner. Hansen played the heel very well, even walking away at some point and looking like a coward, and Jumbo did the underdog very well too. This was a physical contest, at the end Hansen had the advantage but Jumbo managed to do a reversal and stole the win, great work, excellent selling from both sides too. Very important match and with an amazing ending, Hansen lost the battle but on his own way managed to stay badass after it was over - {****}"

[8.0] "Fantastic brawl, fantastic match. This one closed in a great way a historic event, what a performance by the Hulkster, career performance, one of his biggest "he can wrestle" moments, truly amazing. Hogan and Hansen beat the hell out of each other here, they both bled and tried to hurt the other guy all the time, Hulk dominated first, then Hansen took the reins, and the crowd was smoking hot. The ending might look weird but I don't know if it was botched. This is one of the most cool brawls ever - {****1/4}"

[8.0] "The moment everyone was waiting for finally happened, Misawa is a Triple Crown Champion! I think this pretty much symbolizes the transition to different eras inside of King's Road, between Tsuruta-gun vs Super Generation Army feuds and what came after that, with the pillars much more established, including the new champion Misawa, now a true ace of the company. I don't know why this match have always been so low rated, I really like it, I believe it's underrated, specially considering that Misawa and Hansen allegedly never had much chemistry together. This had what I like the most about King's Road... stiff moves, drama and an incredible crowd. So it definitely has a lot of worth for me, I was here rooting for Misawa more than 30 years later, very good and important match. This is a moment that will forever be historic - {****}"

[7.0] "A great spectacle put by two of the best teams in the company. Good to see the Creed Brothers back again, but they need to be featured more in order to improve their performances, as they still lack some abilities. Brutus seemed somewhat lost at certain spots, Julius didn't sold some reactions after Ciampa kicked out at two. They still do some unbelievable things in the ring like Julius picking up Gargano with one hand for a Powerbomb. DIY carried the weight of the match as the veterans of the match and they managed to win with some veteran strategy. The match was having a nice flow but it was missing something that truly made it unique, something that barely got nearly the end and it managed to have the crowd go wild for DIY winning. It was a bittersweet moment for me as I was rooting hard for DIY to be at WrestleMania, they truly deserve it like no others. But I'm sad a team with such potential and that fit really well in an spotfest environment doesn't have the chance to be there. Great opener, and currently on my top 5 WWE matches of the year (*** 1/2)"

[8.0] "Excellent match, great way to close out the decade... Yatsu really had a nice performance here, sold the head thing pretty well. I felt the beginning kind of slow but at the end the match really picked up and had a lot of frenetic and tense moments. I don't think it's as good as the rating here says but still not as bad as the star rating Meltzer gave - {****}"

[8.0] "WALTER vs Ospreay for the first time ever was super cool, maybe the ending could be better, but overall it was a great match... it was amazing to watch two wrestlers with different styles making such a good match, both played their role brilliantly, with Walter being the dominant one and Ospreay trying to highfly his way trough a victory - {****}"

[8.0] "[4.0*] A great and very encouraging main event. I was afraid this was going to be bad because literally all the build-up matches were bad, boring and soulless, but I am very happy it delivered the way I was hoping for. A proper WrestleKingdom Main Event with a beautiful story, ending up with Naito finally doing his roll call at the Dome. Some minor mistakes and a Destino botch made me take 0.25* from it, but I was still very satisfied and happy when it ended."

[7.0] "I'm not a hater of this kind of matches, in fact I just watched and gave Ospreay vs Ricochet at BOSJ 2016 a 10.0 rating right before watching this one, but this specific match unfortunately didn't clicked with me, I guess it was just to silly. For me the match has two parts, the beginning was awful, it looked like a comedy match, with botches and dumb spots, but after some time the action picked up and we had some great moves, but not enough to make me praise this match as most people do. Ospreay was the only true excellent thing here, he was awesome, amazing deliveries, including that crazy and famous spot in the end. Apart from that, I guess it was just a cool spotfest, that made the crowd go crazy, and they were smoking hot, but only a great atmosphere doesn't make a match perfect, and this one had just too many bad moments in my opinion. Still a good spotfest to watch and have some fun, because that was the purpose - {***3/4}"

[8.0] "[4.25*] Incredible match and the obvious best of the year in AEW until now. This was a 12-min perfect squash match where Darby solidified himself as Top 5 bumper/seller in the world while Takeshita looked like an absolute killer (for once, lmfao). Awesome stuff."

[8.0] "[4.0*] Great match. Of course Ishii has his formula with the kickout at 1, headbutt battle, lariat battle until the exhaustion, no-selling he does that every single match so it is not a very innovative match but the execution is always incredible so he never under delivers. Ishii has his mannerisms and I know some people dislike it but I am capable of giving value to that. However, I think Kenoh vs Soya was the clear MOTN, because of its personality and individuality, even with the botch (a mistake in a 30 min bout btw). The two great matches of the event."

[8.0] "Great match but wasn't near the level of their last one. I think this was the most hatred battle between them so far, amazing expressions and psychology overall, the ending was absolutely tense. I like the way the challenger is always the underdog on their battles, makes it every single one of them unique - {****}"

[7.0] "[3.75*] Very good match, another one for Seth and Drew. The action was amazing and the nearfalls were incredible, I legit thought Drew would win at some point. However, the ending was kinda overbooked in a Super Rollins way and Drew looked weak + Priest looked like an absolute geek for not cashing-in."

[8.0] "Great match and the best match of that WrestleMania edition for sure. This had an excellent and very creative build, as the feud was inspired by the death of Paul Bearer, former Undertaker manager, so it was a very good build, and Punk did the disrespectful heel role amazingly. This was the classic honorable and powerful face against arrogant and disrespectful heel, that made everyone want to see the bad guy getting his ass kicked, not anything new and kind of cliché, but it worked well. The match was very enjoyable and had some nice moments, like Punk stealing some moves from Taker. I think the only defect of this is that it was pretty predictable, I don't think a lot of people thought Punk could win this, even during the match - {****}"

[8.0] "[4.0*] Very damn good match that honestly saved the show. The vibes turned around after it. They clearly paid homage to a lot of WWE stuff and the Tables, Ladders and Chairs stuff was my favorite, specially the part with the fire. Not on the same level as Moxley vs Eddie but a clear second best match of the night by two professionals."

[8.0] "Great match! The build and segments for this were amazing, and Punk's heel work is masterful. Unlike the last 2 ppv matches between them, this wasn't an one-sided crowd for Punk, and it was pretty divided between him and Cena. The let's go Cena/Cena sucks chants are the charm of the match, and as the time was passing, CM Punk had the most pop even in Cena's hometown of Boston. This match had some great and boring moments, but the storytelling started to gain shape and it really was meant to be something very special. The last part of the match was outstanding, Punk was trying everything and dominating the match, but just couldn't beat John. He tried a lot of things, even a Rock Bottom. But the finishing was bad, three ppv matches and Cena didn't lost clean in any of them. They ruined it with the ending what could've been an all-timer classic - {****1/4}"

[7.0] "[3.75*] The first great match of the three that ended the show in a very good fashion in my opinion. This was centralized in bombs, suplexes and strikes and was pretty great. Both girls will do pretty well wherever they go."

[8.0] "This was a good match, I don't know why Dave gave it only 3.5 stars, feels like an underrating for me. This match did a great job by looking different from the MITB one at some points like the moves, but of course with much less drama and storytelling, it didn't had that kind of big match feel, and the ending was mid as well, it's like a worst version of that classic match, but less botchy. The reversals in this were on point, Cena and Punk have crazy chemistry - {****}"

[8.0] "Just like their previous encounter this is an incredible brawl, with a lot of stiff moves and two guys trying to hurt each other the whole time. But unlike most people, I think this one is pretty equal or even worse than their last bout, the middle part here is really slow and average, but at the finishing sequence the match definitely picks up, and we have a lot of thrilling moves, like that Hansen lariat where he falls of the ring, my favorite spot of the whole thing - {****}"
298324.03.2024
15:17
[8.0] "[4.0*] This was my match of the night in terms of pure wrestling, but people just hate a lot on MIRAI so they will not see it. It was clearly an epic; not a perfectly-done one, but still an epic. Slow paced at the beginning, boring, but with a high-drama and emotional ending, with a lot of very damn good nearfalls and beautifully done roll-ups by Saori. This was way better than what people was saying on social media."
298424.03.2024

[8.0] "[4.0*] The most antecipated match of the show and maybe of the whole year. All the roads led to this exact moment for Maika and she finally won the big one. Her story is 10/10, the long-term development is 10/10, the big fight feel was 10/10, but it really under delivered a little bit in my opinion. I was expecting a classic, but it was just a very good match. Still very good, still very solid, but it did not live up to the expectations and to the size of this match. I am very very happy for Maika and she truly deserves it tho."
298524.03.2024
15:17
[8.0] "Great brawl, this is a very famous match and I can understand why, for example, it won the Tokyo Sports match of the year award... it's a violent clash, with a lot of stiff moves, these two had incredible chemistry, they weren't caring about technique or beautiful moves, only hurting each other. There are several matches that I gave 8.0 but they are incredible and I appreciate it more than a lot of 9 or even 10 rated matches, because for some clear limitations I can't give a higher rating, but they're still very special, and this is one of them. This is rough, rudimentary, raw. It's a match that raises your testosterone levels, what a fight - {****1/4}"
298624.03.2024
15:16
[8.0] "Excellent match, they tried to win the whole time, this concept seems obvious but it's really rare these days, those sleeper holds were awesome, made it look realistic. The ending moments were hypnotic, simple but amazing. A lot of hard-hitting moves as well - {****}"

15:16
[7.0] "[3.75*] I may be a little bit biased here but I absolutely loved this. The action was very very simple with a pretty basic move-set but the story was told perfectly. The Dantes Inferno kickout was one of my favorite on this year and the crowd just erupted when Danny finally won. Honestly he is the best from the AEW young core. The guy became over by dancing and losing matches; way more impressive than a guy who talked about WWE and called the crowd fat virgins at every promo."
298824.03.2024
15:16
[6.0] "The undercard matches were fine, but nothing spectacular, with Austin vs. Helmsley being the best of the four. The whole event was really carried by the main event and even then it's no where near the best match between Taker and Mankind. 6/10"
298924.03.2024
15:16
[8.0] "[4.0*] I honestly thought this was a lot better than their Final Battle encounter. It was better paced and progressed, with no botched and more time for the audience to breathe. Black Taurus is the real deal!"

[8.0] "Very good tag match between four insanely talented guys. Samoa Joe was truly the MVP in this one, the guy is fantastic, unmatched. His sequences with Kenta were phenomenal, really cool display of hate showed by them. Very enjoyable and well wrestled match - {****}"

[7.0] "[3.75*] This match right here was very damn beast. The exact same match with bigger names would receive a high praise. Their little story was very well executed, fighting for honor, just like they know. Awesome storytelling and I popped hard when Lethal did the Jay Driller. Lethals best match on the tournament and Mark was by far the MVP of the Golden League. No bad matches for him."
299324.03.2024
15:14
[8.0] "Very good match, a lot of high-level technical exchanges and cool moves. Bryan did a great character work here as a heel, and the atmosphere corresponded to the importance of the match. The one thing I didn't liked about the match was the high quantity of tap-outs they made in submission moves, obviously not intended to, but it was awkward. Apart from that it was all very good and dynamic - {****}"
299424.03.2024
15:14
[8.0] "[4.0*] I thought this match was great. They sold their fatigue from the tournament perfectly, Jays limb-work was pretty good and Moxleys selling too. As expected, Jay outsmarted Moxley and the referee Bryce, which is hella funny because AEW referees being damn stupid seems to be canon now, so Jay took advantage of it and hit Moxley with a chair shot. This was better than their G1 Climax encounter and the ending stretch was pretty well executed. It was not a fast paced full-action match and honestly I am glad it was not."
299524.03.2024
15:14
[8.0] "Great match, very emotional CM Punk farewell from Ring of Honor... it's amazing how he went in one day from a must-hate villain to a guy loved and cheered by everyone, doing his entrance with tears in his eyes. The match wasn't spectacular but closed his chapter in a pretty decent way, a lot of technical moves and cool moments. This match had a little bit of everything... technical sequences, hard-hitting moves, comedy spots and a good paced ending moments. The closing could've been better but it was acceptable and put Cabana over - {****}"

[8.0] "[4.25*] I think this is the best wrestling performance Miz has ever done, talking entirely of pure wrestling. This rocked hard and was even better than the first one. I would love to see the full match without the 2 commercial breaks, I think would have reached 4.5*. Gunther is just on another level right now."
299724.03.2024
15:14
[8.0] "Who would've thought that Joe historic long reign was going to end just a few days after the incredible trilogy with Punk... Aries played an amazing underdog role here and became the champion. I think this match had some dead moments, but at the end the crowd really fired up and it was thrilling. Joe dominated for some part but in the late stages lacked some breath and Aries capitalized the upset win. This is remarkable because it went from "no way Aries can win this" to "oh, maybe he can do it" - {****}"

[8.0] "[4.25*] One of the best Continental Classic matches to date. This was awesome, real graps, the ending with the busaiku knee to the back of the head looked brutal, and Brody kicking out at 3.2 was a great spot and made him look very strong."
299924.03.2024

[8.0] "[4.0*] Incredible match-up. This was carried by storytelling and Garcia worked like a perfect underdog. This dude is just special, he knows more than just beautiful moves and that is why he clears the pillars Sammy Guevara and Jack Perry. Keep dancing!"

[8.0] "The best 2 workers in the FB vs VE fued and they do great again. Both men are just so naturally athletic that every move just looks so good, Kevins drop kick was a thing of beauty and Terry was such a great seller. Kevin mostly works the arm and Terry sells it like hell and its great, the last strech speeds things up and builds to an oldschool finish, these 2 are just always great together."
