[7.0] "A pretty good main event here with Eric Young particularly shining in front of his home country. I am really not invested in The System as a group and interference in some of their matches will take me out, as does Mooses spear. Kazarian costing Eric the match was a bit of a surprise and did protect Eric in defeat."

[2.0] "This is the usual SAT and Special K scramble match. Lots of moves, some of them really botchy, and with 0 psychology. I didn't like it, I think that the Backseat Boyz should be in the title picture, not on this bad scrambles. I liked the ending, with Acid and Kashmere turning on the SAT after losing the match."

[8.0] "This felt like 2 singles matches combined to form a tag match. Only 1 tag occured for both teams. First 5 mins was Ranna Yagami against Giulia and 2nd half was Syuri against Sakurai where Syuri got the job done. Big win for Ranna Yagami considering this was first time ever she tagged with her mentor as a duo."

[6.0] "matches were fun. don't care what anyone says, im interested in the Hendry v Francis feud. Speedball mountain and the rascals had a fun match too. its a kick off show so I guess I shouldn't have expected anything other than stuff hyping up the ppv. solid wrestling all around still so eh who cares"

[7.0] "Enjoyable trios match that I felt was upgraded by replacing The Good Hands with GYV. Effective in pushing forth Shelleys dissolution from KUSHIDA/Sabin while also giving a nice win for Ali/GYV. 6.5-7"

[9.0] "I think this is one my favourites Four Corner Survival matches so far. Maff and Homicide's rivalry add a lot to the match, as their exchanges were really cool. Cabana add some good comedy to the match and it worked out well. BJ Whitmer put on a great performance also, with some great moves. So those four combined made an entertaining and intense match. It was nonstop, a great spotfest with headbumps and some amazing powermoves. The crowd was really hot for this one. I like how Maff started the match teasing him facing Homicide, just to chop-tag BJ Whitmer. The insane moves start soon, with a tope con hilo from Homicide that hit the rail. But nothing compared with the suicide dive by Maff into the first row, it was crazy. And if that was not enough, then the four returned to the ring and did some amazing sequences with powermoves, such as german and half nelson suplexes, ace crushers, knee strikes, cannonballs and even double moves. And then all lead to an insane finish with BJ Whitmer hits an avalanche exploder suplex on Cabana to take the win. It was a crazy spotfest, totally recommended, the four wrestlers mixed well and put on an amazing performance. Great character work by Maff on the postmatch angle."

[8.0] "Another good match between these two that was different from their previous one with more of an established face-heel dynamic. I imagine there will be a third that should deliver as well based on their previous 2. Ending wasnt my favorite but it did help to establish Hammerstone as a heel. 7.5-8."

[8.0] "A thoroughly enjoyable slugfest between two hard hitting teams. This was my first match from Manders and Warner as I dont watch a lot of GCW but they thoroughly delivered a beautiful Bati Bati clash with Nomura and Abe. A genuinely unexpected standout match between the two teams, with Astronauts providing the brand of wrestling weve come to love and expect from them against American opponents."

[7.0] "We got a nice video package pre match for this. This was a big spot for these two and they got given the time to craft something excellent and unfortunately I thought they did not quite deliver. This was good but you kept expecting them to really step it up and they never did. Far from bad but it needed to be better than ***1/2"

[5.0] "[3.0*] Decent match. There was a couple of chemistry issues and the match was not very fluid, but the moves were pretty cool and nice. This seems to be the regular thing about these AEW high-flyers, not a very good chemistry + not a very fluid match with a lot of miscommunications but the cool moves and spots make it an easy-watch for Rampage."

[6.0] "Kuroshio TOKYO Japan is my pro wrestling kryptonite. The whole constant falling out between Suzuki and Suwama just makes their opponents look shit as they can't take advantage and beat them. Alongside that Ashino has been booked woefully since his return from injury and eat the pin here. It was maybe a little better than hoped but that is no praise at all."

[8.0] "A bit over-ambitious, even compared to the ASM/Kid match that came before this. The ending stretch was great, and while the stuff leading up to it wasn't perfect, the effort was there. 4 Stars"

[4.0] "[2.5*] OC has a lot of fatigue with the audience and I just do not know why he can not have a simple break. He is not that big of a draw and putting on 4/10 matches is not the solution. Just have the guy take a time-out. Where is RUSH tho?"

[6.0] "There's a lot to like here in that it presents one of the most interesting early UWF matches with a real clash of styles. Bob doesn't quite fit the UWF style but when Nobuhiko hasn't been the most interesting of characters to this point, Bob being a little more over the top isn't the worst thing. It does make for some moments that don't quite look right, Bob throwing real worker elbows is a bit odd and his selling of shots that don't quite hit the mark is off. There's great stuff in there though, the way they move between holds on the mat and Bob working more with takedowns and throws than any other UWF guy. Bob gets his face messed up bad with some kicks near the end too but the match ends with a double wristlock and the ref calls it. Bob gets right back up and the win is kinda muddied, it works as a finish in a shoot-style promotion where the ref calls it for the safety of a wrestler but after 25 minutes of two guys working to prove that their style is the best, it's not the most satisfying thing in the world."

[4.0] "How I miss Rei and the banger throw back tag matches we would get. Turns out later in the show that he is ready to come back. Thank the lord. This was crap and filled with interference in which they failed to set up the distraction well enough so the referee just looks like a cretin."

[5.0] "[2.75*] Solid match. The fact that Newman tried to copy Ospreay throughout the entire match annoyed me a little bit. Like, Callum, you HAVE to be yourself. You can not be him and you will not be him, so start building your own character. However, as Ospreay is very good, he was obviously decent too, but Gabe carried the whole psychology of the match with his heel work and saved it."

Since coming back from what many thought would be a career-ending injury that took her out of action for 3 years, she has become the longest reigning champion in RevPro history. [5.0] "[3.0*] Very fun big men match. It was pretty solid and the crowd was very much into it. Boltin Oleg has a lot of future and I see him ahead of guys like Callum Newman, he will be a great addition to the roster. Crowd was rooting for him but obviously Hikuleo was winning."

[7.0] "When i think of a wrestler who is able to work an exciting version of the 'slow & methodical' style, i don't always think of someone who can wrench an extended hold or target an arm for a few minutes of a match. To me, a fun way to use the 'slow & methodical' is to use the absence of flash to convey character. Simon Gotch was constantly trying to upstage Josh Alexander throughout this match and make himself look more proficient in the ring than his foe. He didn't necessarily succeed though, because his jealousy and ego clouded the fact that Josh is simply more tenacious and powerful. Alexander didn't need to overcome a hurting limb to beat his opponent, he needed to overcome Gotch's arrogance. Crowd were a bit dead, sadly. [3.5]"

[6.0] "Yamazaki as a top 3 guy in the company at this point comes against Miyato who's still working his way up and it's a top guy vs lower card kinda deal. It's not the sort where the lesser star gets a ton of hope in, mostly it's just time. Miyato throws some mean kicks and gets a backdrop in near the end but Yamazaki turns it up and stands up to face Miyato face-to-face without guard at one point. Takes Yamazaki longer than he wanted to win and Miyato has a valiant performance before being choked out. Nice little showcase for him and W for the king."

[2.0] "With WrestleMania on the horizon and a segment involving The Rock, Roman Reigns, Cody and Seth, this should've taken things up another notch. It didn't. Yes we got a slap, riiiight at the finish line before things got cut off. Last week The Rock rambled on and wasted time all to make the challenge and today they had but 10 minutes. They really need to fix that. Meanwhile, Bayley and Damage Ctrl in their years long storyline get ZERO ring time while Angel and Dragon Lee get 7 minutes. They need to pick up the pace. I don't see why the main 4 guys can't go to Raw once in a while. They have 3 hours to play with there. This episode didn't make me more excited for Mania. If anything when you really thing about it, without the Bloodline story, are we sure this Mania season is even good? Oh and the Prime logo in the middle of the ring for every PLE starting at Mania? The TKO takeover is really here. Every second of tv time is gonna be some sort of sponsor smh."

[6.0] "This was a fine Rampage. We opened with CHAOS taking on the thrown together team of the Butcher and Kip Sabian in a predictable match. Julia Hart then squashed Robyn Renegade to continue to assert her dominance of the women's mid-card. Penta El Zeo Miedo took on Action Andretti in a match that highlighted how far Andretti has fallen from his Jericho beating days. Finally, we got the match of the night: a still somewhat underwhelming match between Top Flight, Private Party, and Bryan Keith and Komander."

[8.0] "I thought it was a great episodemuch more of a story/building episode than it was anything else. Loved the opening portion of the show with Paul/Owens/Randy/Theory/Waller, Dragon Lee vs. Angel was also good. The ending segment was very good, it really kept the energy and electricity of the feud going without necessarily adding any new information. Seth did a great job with his little piece and then The Rock/Roman followed it up with some solid stuff (but, I will say that Roman's version of The Rock's sense of humor still comes off a little too childish, idk). It felt like they should've pushed for an overrun, Cody looked like he was going to try to get another line or two off. The slap got cut off just a little too soon, in my opinion."

[4.0] "This really was a bit of a mess of a match as they usually are when you throw like 12 workers into a match. Difficult to follow and most of the time I didnt even know who was legal. It did its job however by warming up the crowd and Jay White running down the card post match was a nice touch. Great to see Max Caster screw up his rap as well. I dont think he will be bothered and will no doubt reference it in his next rap."

[5.0] "This match was decent but it was hurt by a couple of factors. First, Jericho on commentary was rough after weeks of Daddy Magic, and second, the Butcher and Sabian haven't been on TV in months, so there was no suspicion of them winning this."

[10.0] "Pure and utter soap opera wrestling at it's finest this match is endlessly entertaining and fun, the moment Linda stand up lives in my brain the catharsis when she sticks it to Vince is incredible. I haven't watched this match in a good while so with the Vince stuff it probably hasnt aged well on a further rewatch but simply from memories of the feelings this match produces i have to give it 5 stars."

[5.0] "A brisk 6-minute encounter dominated by Takada's ground game. Haward, though occasionally charming, plays a typical foreign talent role. Limited selling throughout and a unique Dragon Sleeper Suplex are notable, but overall, an average match with smooth mat wrestling. 2.75 stars."

[8.0] "This was sneaky great and by a comfortable margin the best Nemeth has looked and that is thanks to Maclin. A shame he seems to be on his way out of TNA as he probably won't get such prominent spots else ware. Speaking of spots, the missed shoulder tackle in the tree of woe that made him fly outside looked absolutely brilliant. A shame the feed kept shitting the bed."

[8.0] "This show is a lot of fun. The opener is great, a very entertaining sub 10 minute sprint in which the minis and Cassandro especially impress. The tag title match (featuring LADDERS) is a messy entertaining spectacle. Fuerza & Juventud Guerrera have a solid falls count anywhere style brawl in which Sangre Chicana and Octagon feature heavily. The tag match which precedes the apuestas match is fine enough and Calo & Super Fly end up having a really good short mask/mask match afterwards. The 5-on-4 Legion Extranjera isn't particularly good but it's enjoyable for just how random it all feels. The main event Domo de la Muerte cage match is really exciting and very heated. Great show!"
1075409.03.2024
17:56
[6.0] "The digital media match was woeful but then it has Joe Hendry in it so you already know the ceiling is low. The tag match is well worth your time for the short amount of time it got. Rest is the usual hard sell for the TNA+ special."
1075509.03.2024
17:55
[6.0] "Solid trios match. Top Flight continue to grow as a team while Private Party feels to have plateaued. Why Bryan Keith is randomly stuck with Kommander in multiple tags is beyond me."

[7.0] "No idea why you are wasting the Rascals or Speedball on the pre show but here we are. This turned out to be a tonne of fun. Just a seven minute sprint. Obviously better when Bailey is in there compared to Trent."

[4.0] "An OK tag match. I like The Butcher and the Blade but they have been booked as such non-entities that all it is is an easy tv win for OC and Trent. A shame because they are a talented team."

[7.0] "This match was better than most of y2j later matches, not only because it was new and novel but also because of the hard work especially from Kenny. There were other factors in the works beforehand (like new japan getting more promotion in the us), but to me this match is one of the most important matches for the industry in at least the last couple decades, setting the stage for so much to come with new japan's exposure/expansion out west, proving the viability of stars outside of wwe, and of course, the formation of aew.""

[8.0] "The fact that she started to wrestle at the age of 40 and has become such a beloved figure of Joshi wrestling is insane. Ice Ribbons own Filipino is already a success story. A very reliable powerhouse and a uplifting presence every time she appears on screen, she is a darling of the scene."

[7.0] "Really fun show that the crowd were hot and into for. Obviously this show is in memory of a former CCW wrestler who passed but that didnt dampen the atmosphere and there was a respectful segment paid to Mr Carnage with his family there to represent his memory. Good show, would have liked to have seen the Big Cheese in a match other than the opening rumble though. The ending segment with Billy Morrison getting invited into the ring by Dustin and Sugar Ray was pure class as well."
1076609.03.2024

Lots of chops mixed with incredible high flying moves from both and Penta executing a devastating packet piledriver to Horus on the apron. Fun near falls before Horus' surprise win. This is the first match I have seen featuring either of these guys and I am left wanting more!"

[9.0] "This felt like a modern match in a wonderful way. The pace was wonderful, building to a climatic act three. No Fear are one of my faves of this era of All Japan, but I would say that the outsiders were the better of the two, using spectacular offence, and looking valiant in defeat. ****1/2"

[7.0] "A well worked and enjoyable tag match. ABC was due to lose the belts. Not necessarily the most interested in The System holding so many titles as the group as a whole does not do much for me, especially when GYV is also present after they had just finished their best of 3 series."

[2.0] "Woof, this wasn't very good. On the positive side, the Savage/Sting vs Avalanche/Rogers semi-main was actually a pretty fun attraction tag match with big stars that succeeded in getting the crowd off its seats. The Hogan-Vader main, also, was a pretty solid main event brawl, but did have a lot of screwiness (the DQ finish could be forgiven as the main thing here seemed to be setting up Hogan vs Flair, but this DQ came from Flair getting in the ring and chopping Hogan, despite that Hogan had already blasted Vader with a chair in full view of the referee with no consequence). Harlem Heat vs Nasty Boys for the tag belts was mostly OK too, but they would have better matches elsewhere. On the negative side... well, pretty much everything else. The Wright vs Roma match had the makings of a good opening bout, but this would be the match where Roma infamously went into business for himself rather than following his directive of making Wright look good, ultimately leading to Roma's dismissal from WCW and effectively ending his career in the major promotions. Dustin Rhodes vs Blacktop Bully similarly had the makings of a good match but dragged on at least two, maybe three times longer than it should have. And the remaining matches - Jim Duggan vs Bunkhouse Buck and Kevin vs Evad Sullivan - were absolutely abysmal. '95 was mostly a pretty bad year for both WCW and the WWF and this won't do anything to change that opinion."

Booker T gets his first singles promo time as champ and Chris Jericho has a bad loser gimmick now. Goldberg is still on a warpath, omg I'm hyped for WCW 1998."

[8.0] "I think if you can look past the tech glitches that started the show last night, this was still a great one. Nic and Maclin was a lot better than we expected and it was cool to have Nic get his first win. Hammerstone winning against Josh is something I'm not mad at all. Should be a fun and violent feud down the road. I'm happy for Dani and Jodi winning the KO tag titles despite it being a short title match, but I hope that this isn't end of MK Ultra, even though it did looked like it. The System has been on a roll now that Eddie and Bryan are now tag champions in a good match with ABC. I think it's a indication that GYV might have signed to TNA because they and Ali won over Time Machine. I feel we might get a Shelley heel turn again. Jordynne, Xia, and Tasha did a amazing job in that three way match for the KO title. Some crazy spots from Tasha and Xia and Jordynne keeps showing everyone why she is The Juggernaut with her strength. Nice to see Ash By Elegance and she actually looked really good. Great win by Grace. And I truly enjoy that main event with Eric and Moose. Personally I really did hope EY would win the world title and then Kaz would attack him, which leads to finally facing off at Rebellion in a title match. But I didn't mind Moose retaining and he's doing a good job. Still, a really good show last night 8/10"

[6.0] "A pleasant aside to the main 16 Carat tournament. Luke Jacobs maintains a strong showing for the weekend so far, with a strong knockout win in the first round and a good performance against Shire. None of the tournament matches were disappointing, all managed to meet or slightly exceed expectations and kept the crowd interested throughout the show. A good mix of some slightly more abrupt finishes and those built up to. The tag match was also a really good interlude, allowing for a different approach to the Ambition style, and Oskar came out of it with one of his more impressive performances of his excursion so far. An enjoyable show, not necessarily a must-watch but not a disappointing one for completionists who will watch all wXw shows"

[1.0] "This was deemed a dream match by many in the past, but in 2019, when these wrestlers are way past their prime and well on their way out to retirement, this was hard to watch. There were multiple botches which could have had serious injury repercussions on both wrestlers, not to mention, like I said, the ages of both wrestlers showed very much as the two were quite slow on several occasions, which is to be expected but why have them both wrestle at this point? Besides the huge paycheck they got after the match which wasn't even worth it if you ask me given how sloppy and dangerous this was. I will give this one point for both wrestlers' star power and the very cool entrances, apart from that however, this was a dud."

[7.0] "Good match with both men contributing nicely. TJP was booked pretty strong and looks like he could mix it with the heavyweights, while this was one of Finlay's better matches in terms of keeping a consistent pace to the match. Nothing blow away but certainly enjoyable. ***3/4"

Literally no crowd reaction, very little entertainment, and a massively confusing ending made this match incredibly forgettable, no wonder many aren't talking about this match apart from that ending which made little to no sense and ultimately made this feud between the Lucha House Party and Lars Sullivan one of the worst feuds of 2019. I would give this a negative rating if I could. One of the worst handicap matches of all time and there is some dishonorable competition in that regard too."

The junior title match was my favorite of the show but I also enjoyed the heavyweight title match with the local guys. Main Event was old school protect Tommy Rich but still try to make him look good which they did perfectly."

But I think with his improved look, wrestling style and what not. I'm sure that after a long 23 years, he's finally ready to showcase what he can do. His stuff in ROH, carrying it and providing the best matches on the brand have showcased his skillset. Sure he has to be in a storyline with his overrated sister. But I'm just glad he's getting the bag. For now. Zak gets a 7"

I hold the belief that Andrade is or defiently was one of the best in the world and there is a reason Gargano used to get compared to the likes of Daniel Bryan because he can be that DAMN good."

[2.0] "Lars Sullivan was a believable wrestler in terms of strength, but that is all that I can think of when remembering him. Besides his crazy strength, Lars didn't have ANY redeeming qualities as a wrestler, no mic skills, no charisma, just your "average" powerhouse wrestler who couldn't do what most wrestlers should be able to do. Lars was also hyped up a lot before making his main roster WWE debut, which fell flat on it's face, not to mention that he had some serious accusations made against him which ultimately ended up destroying his career. For someone that was hyped to the moon a few years ago, he sure ended up being a massive bust."

They got much more involvement in the match and weren't overshadow by their opponents. I'd have loved to see Imperium winning this one, but I get they want to protect Priest as much as possible as he is still Señor MITB. I bet they could have done so much more if creative wanted it, but it was really good for getting an average treatment (*** 1/2)"

The fine heel work from Scarlett and the Bobbly Lashley shine rubbed off on B-Fab - her coming to save the day actually got a pop from the Dallas crowd. The DQ finish was unfortunate. At least Karrion Kross is getting some decent ring time - he's good and needs to show it more often."
