[2.0] "Its really distracting how much Tanahashi looks like Masa Kitamiya here to me. This was pretty average fare really, nothing special but watchable. Shibata is utterly unrecognisable and doesnt show anything special but Tanahashi is already pretty excellent at this point, although he doesnt get much chance to show it even when hes in the match for the majority of its runtime. Its a bit of a drag to get through and not particularly entertaining aside from some relatively interesting interactions between Shibata and Tanahashi considering what theyd go on to do. Nagai and Shibata then argue for far too long before Shibata is turned on for a messy and boring finish. Not worth a watch at all really, even if youre a big fan of Tanahashi and Shibata."

[8.0] "Space Boys at Bloodsport was great. They wrestled it like an they were introducing the crowd to who they are more than the full built up experience. The blood and fake outs were reallu good! There was maybe no way they could probably get something on the level on the KTDan match because that was basically their crowd and they were fighting for Ikeda/Ishikawa."

[5.0] "After watching this match I went on Cagematch to see how others perceived the match, assuming most would find it to be mediocre. However, I was shocked to learn that this match has a very high rating. I have watched this match over again twice since and although I have seen some of the strengths other comments have pointed out, I also have seen other weaknesses that to me feel glaring. As for strengths, there are a few really good bumps that began to get me interested in this match, Swann's 450 faceplant bump and the cattle mutilator spot to name two. Additionally, ICMG's comeback, particularly Ricochet's initial shine segment following the hot tag, is entertaining. However, I feel the high spots in this match are hurt by the weaknesses of this match. The heat segment for Busick and Gulak felt boring to me. I feel like it takes too long to see some devastating strikes and throws that justify Swann's selling. As well, Swann seldom tries to make the tag into Ricochet even when he hits a big move. It would be a different story if Swann hit big moves on Gulak and was cut off by Busick. I would feel for Swann and root for him to make the tag, but that doesn't exist in this match. Additionally, Ricochet's presence in the corner is so strange in this match. Half the time I look over and he is sitting on the canvas looking like he is dying from organ failure or something. It feels like both guys are riding out the heat segment to get to their shine and not doing the little things to make the match special. Outside of Ricochet flexing after hitting something flashy moves in this there was little fan interaction to stir up the crowd and it showed. For the second match in a PWG show that also happens to feature a fan favourite in Ricochet, this crowd doesn't live up to the expectations and I don't blame them. The heels feel more interested in locking in thirty-second long rest holds a minute into the match than showing the crowd that they are torturing their opponents and being bad guys. Overall, I've seen much better from all four men and this match feels like a heatless affair that is a slog to watch through."

[8.0] "Another pretty fun match for this show, though I think the opening match just edges out this one in terms of quality. This one really picked up in the second half. I loved the table spot where Taven dove into it from the ring, and the stuff with the thumbtacks was fun, as per usual."

[6.0] "This was relatively standard tag fare, but definitely on the good side. This was right as NJPW started to properly develop its Strong Style by combining the shoot-esque tendencies of Inokiism with the dramatic puro style classically associated with Japanese wrestling. The strikes here are very stiff with some hard slaps and kicks being combined with the expectedly excellent high flying from the NJPW jrs. This wasnt exceptional but it was a fun and entertaining undercard bout which managed to be both hectic and dramatic."

[5.0] "Probably the weakest show of night one but that's not necessarily a bad thing because the show was pretty solid in its own right. There was nothing wrong with the show except maybe the main event dragged abit but other then that it was a decent and easy early morning watch that kinda flew by. Match of the show has to go to the tag match with Chris Brooke's and Kid Lykos vs The Moonlight Express. Love seeing Speedball and Mao team up. This shows fine but nothing special, not really missing out on much by skipping this one. Great way to kick off the weekend"

[7.0] "25+ minute matches with early slow build into prolonged finisihing stretches became a rarity these days in Puro, but this one had a bunch of somewhat fresh ideas to keep my attention (though not all of them were well executed) so it wasn't a chore to watch. Both wrestlers had better matches and performances in last 18 months or so, but formality of MUSASHI's final MPro match made this one feel like an important milestone."

[4.0] "Its very easy to forget these days just how good Taguchi used to be, this is a short young lion showcase between two men who are still going 20 years later and have venerated careers in their own ways. Both are almost unrecognisable here but the quality of the technical wrestling is quite shockingly good. I think this match is worth watching just to see these two unique and brilliant workers and personalities before they were so unique, back then they were just two more young lions in an entertaining showcase. The quality of wrestling is good, the match is too short to be anything much but it still rivals most of what you see in the wrestling world, such is the quality of NJPWs dojo."

[6.0] "You're here for the main event, mabye you watched the IC title match, mabye even the stinker Jake and Andre match out of curosity, but that main event is absolutely legendary. We haven't had a mania as of yet with a majority good card, but I hold out hope."

[9.0] "Wow what a main event to this show! The story is what brought this match to the pinnacle, what a feud this two had. The blood was perfectly executed. The finish, I would have mabye changed a little, instead of kicking out of the elbow, mabye Macho takes a bit of time to pin, or perhaps he tries to go for it a second time cause he's not confident he can put the Hulkster away. Anyway, really loved this match, its a classic."

[7.0] "This match really caught me by surprise when I watched it live - Ricky Steamboat is just incredible. He was so far beyond what anybody expected he would be capable of at this stage in his life. Piper had a pretty impressive performance as well, for that matter. He clearly still knows how to brawl with the best of them, even if he isn't exactly in prime wrestling shape. Snuka looks really poor and probably should have been replaced with somebody else, but everybody else does such a remarkable job defying expectations, and I had so much fun watching Steamboat turn back the clock, that I'm happy to be lenient with my rating here."

[] "Ueno and Speedball tore the house down here. Fantastic show all around, Yoshihiko vs. Hirata being a surprise hit."

[6.0] "A fairly solid match, though I feel as though it could have been better or just something more. Commentary kept bringing up that this was the first time these two have met one-on-one and that they used to be friends, but this kind of felt like a normal match in terms of its intensity."

[1.0] "What an absolute mess... The booking of this match really shows the lack of respect the women's division received at this time. The fact that they brought back several women from the past and barely even featured them on camera shows how little they really cared about this. The match is a very standard women's battle royal for this period, and has nothing much of interest take place. I suppose I'll give it a point because the action itself was at least passable (no major botches and the offence was so simple that nothing looked all that bad) and thankfully very short, but from a booking standpoint this was a joke."

[6.0] "This was a big step down from Show 1 of the same day due to some weird booking decisions and possible injury scares, but the main event was really good."

[8.0] "Very good match to close the show, the finish was surprisingly good and they overcame the bad interference spot near the beginning."

[7.0] "A pretty fun Tag Team Match here, in my opinion. Though, with these two teams, it's not much of a surprise. I wouldn't say that this was their best match against each other, but it was still a fun and entertaining one nonetheless. I'm not sure how I feel about the attire on The Young Bucks, though."

[5.0] "Warrior had two things, the entrance run and the rope shaking, other than that he was a shittier Hogan, thank god Rick Rude went over here, who managed to get an okay match out of the Warrior."

[7.0] "A pretty solid match, though I'm not a huge fan of the finish. I understand it from a story perspective and everything, but it just hampers the match itself a little for me. Regardless, I'm glad Garcia got to go up against and look good against someone like Copeland."

[8.0] "This is one of the many great ladder matches in WrestleMania history. There are a lot of fun spots and creativity here, along with a diverse range of participants. Kofi and Shelton both come up with some pretty unique material, but my highlight might actually be the spot where Kane and Mark Henry 'part the steel sea'. There is unfortunately a notable botch from Shelton that does hurt the momentum of the match a little bit, and I think the finish could have probably been more interesting, but this was still a very exciting way to open WrestleMania."

[7.0] "Really nice for BUSHI to get the pin on Hiromu Takahashi in this one. It helps to illustrate a strength in LIJ."

[8.0] "A fun, hard-hitting battle to kick off the show. As a matter of fact, this was probably the best match on the whole show. These two beat the hell out of each other and it was really good. I'm really looking forward to the eventual Tag Team Match involving Cash Wheeler and Claudio Castagnoli."

[3.0] "oh deary me that wasn't very good was it. it's a shame i really haven't gotten to see a good Jake The Snake match at Mania yet"

[7.0] "This was a classic 'young underdog babyface takes a beating, but perseveres, survives with the help of much more experienced tag team partner, and in the end finds a way to win via roll-up' match. Yamaya was pretty impressive here imo, but he's at the very beginning of his career so who knows where he's gonna end up being in 1-2 years."

[6.0] "Unfortunately Yuu got rocked during this match and struggled, and I don't think highly of Rhia O'Reilly. The two never seemed on the same page, but at the same time I enjoyed the ideas of what they were trying to do. It was ok."

[5.0] "A middling show with a lot of fine but not overly good matches. It is nice to at least see Kojima in the US again more regularly through MLW who was in the best match of this show."

[5.0] "A fine tag match. I like most involved in the match but this felt a bit like a filler tag to get them through to the next show with not much energy or urgency. Wasnt bad though."

[5.0] "A short match but had a quick pace and some energy to it. The plunder felt a bit unnecessary. Fine win for Ichiban."

[4.0] "A little too much in my opinion. I enjoy both talents but this felt like it was a bit too in your face with too much time also dedicated to it."

[6.0] "Solid stuff, two legendary workers coming together, mabye held back a little by a lack of time and the whole Blue Blazer gimmick I'm sure it was difficult to work in that mask"

[9.0] "This isn't one of the best Raw episodes when it comes to the match quality. What makes this a great show to watch is everything around the Austin/Hart Foundation rivalry! It's an episode long storyline where Austin is to face Bret Hart in a street fight and the first half of the show is him like a mad man going after Bret. Then the match sort of happened but not really. It ended up in an angle where Owen and Bulldog are chased off by HBK, who ends up being an unlikely ally to Austin all night. Austin becomes unhinged and the match ends up getting stopped for an injury angle where Austin targets all of Bret's limbs. He later attacks him in an ambulance and the last segment sees Austin attacked by a returning Brian Pillman! This episode is chaotic to watch where you a really seeing the boundaries being pushed. You just can't turn away from it! There's an interesting Undertaker v HHH match outside of that thats worth a watch too, with Mankind cutting a sympathetic promo before the match because of what happened to 'Uncle Paul' and then the sight of him interrupting the match walking to the ring with a blow torch is legit terrifying! The only major problem with this show is that the matches outside of the two mentioned are very bad and McMahon's really stupid line where he said Ahmed Johnson did more to galvanise South Africa than Nelson Mandela!"

[4.0] "Really don't like the finish here, the babyfaces cheating more than the heels, overall okay, Randy would've been pissed to work 4 times in a night I'll betcha."

[] "I don't feel I can rate this fairly since I just watched the main event, but Jesus why so many matches? It seems like a good idea to mabye have the semi finals on the show, but the entire bracket? All super short, way too many. Donald Trump in the front row, gross."

[5.0] "An incredibly boring wrestler who nobody liked as Champion. A pretty good booker, although the NXT Black and Gold roster would be hard to screw up. Had his character be presented as a smart guy as an excuse for him to be one of the slowest wrestlers under 40 you'll ever see."

[7.0] "This was cool. Nemeth had to work to look like he belonged on Bloodsport (despite his amateur background) and he delivered here. Two great spots on either side of the ring as Speedball got slammed and spilled to the floor. Fairly believable stuff here and they moved to the finish well, which was a Nic Nemeth win. Respect was also shown at the end from one man to the other which is nice to see. That's two fun Speedball matches already this Wrestlemania weekend. I could've done with a few more minutes though."

[8.0] "A pretty good main event here. I'm always happy to see Ishii, especially when he's getting a spotlight like this. Cassidy, of course, did great as well. If he hadn't already, he definitely proved himself against one of the toughest wrestlers in the game."

[6.0] "A fairly solid match here. Aminata continues to have good showings against top talent from the Women's Division, despite losing once again. Either way, though, Storm getting the win was the expected result. That's not a bad thing, though. I'm just glad Aminata looked good."

[5.0] "Daniel Bryan and the crowd are great, unfortunately Triple H is in the match. Despite what WWE has said, Triple H is not a 'cerebral Assassin' he's a boring wrestler who thinks dragging out every spot in the match makes it good. It doesn't, it just means anytime Triple H is 'in control' the match gets real boring. I assume this was more exciting in the moment, but looking back on it, it's just fine. Also the commentary team is atrocious."

[8.0] "I watch Bloodsport every year in WrestleMania weekend and this is one of my favourite match ever in Bloodsport's history I've loved Charlie since NXT UK and I'm happy he's getting great results and above all the right credit from the fans. Matt was the perfect opponent to test him and highlight his skills in a "shoot" match. They gave rise to a match that, for a moment, made me forget that I was watching something "written". It seemed like a real sporting competition: the work on the mat was excellent, the striking phases were also good. Match with the right length and even the ending - which often happens in a sudden or anticlimactic manner in Bloodsport - was constructed well. Congratulations to both."

[7.0] "A pretty fun match here. I love Briscoe, but King getting the win was likely the right call. I think King could totally become AEW World Champion sometime down the line if the booking is right. I wouldn't be opposed to that happening whatsoever, though."

[9.0] "This match is awesome. Takers last great match and one of punks last great matches before leaving in 2014. A white hot Crowd elevates this match and the nearfalls were fantastic. Truly felt that punk had a shot at ending the streak in certain moments. 4.5/5"

[3.0] "Match was short and their was some quite poor wrestling as well as the roll up finish, still watchable however."

[] "One of the best promotions in SEA. Vietnam Pro Wrestling (VPW) is a professional wrestling promotion based in Vietnam. VPW likely features wrestlers trained in various wrestling techniques, performing in scripted storylines and matches. While professional wrestling is more commonly associated with countries like the United States and Japan, it has gained popularity in various parts of the world, including Vietnam. VPW would likely organize events, produce content, and promote its brand within the Vietnamese wrestling scene."

[8.0] "Oof, the current rating for Jade Cargill is REALLY harsh. I'm editing this review from my September 2022 rating where I previously gave Jade a 6. I honestly admire Jade. She has the potential to be WWE's top 2-4 biggest stars in the women's division. She carries herself like a big star, and she has a great physique/height that'll always make her a legitimate threat to the rest of the women's division. I think she's solid enough in the ring against the right opponents. I've seen Jade Cargill have good matches against Kris Statlander, Taya Valkyrie (aka their 2nd match), Anna Jay (aka their 1st match) and Thunder Rosa. Her wrestling is easily her one weakness, but she's a solid enough worker who can hang in the ring with better wrestlers. Jade oozes charisma since she's able to connect with various crowds, and she's such a cool dominant badass that makes it easy for us to be enamored by her presence. Jade is solid enough on the mic. HEr promos are generally best when it's short and sweet because her actions speak much louder than her words. Plus, Jade is arguably the hottest woman in the company; so that's just another big bonus going for her. Jade is just Her. She fits perfectly in WWE, and hopefully she continues to improve in the ring. Overall, Jade definitely gets an 8 from me. She's criminally underrated on this site."

[5.0] "This was fine. I'm not sure how I feel about Garcia tapping out Taylor after not even ten minutes, but I'm glad he got the win. Taylor's cool, but he's very hit-or-miss for me in the ring. Unfortunately, this fell more under the "misses" for me. This wasn't a bad match, but it wasn't great either."

[8.0] "I saw some discourse online a little while ago calling the Hogan/Andre bodyslam "mid". They just don't get it! The match is so boring, but doesn't it suck your right in? Will Hogan beat the giant? Can Hogan come close to the power that Andre brings? And you see Hogan coming back, and he reaches for that bodyslam, and it brings you to your feet. It's the perfect main event match."

[6.0] "When you want to talk about "aura", look at this show. Every match felt important. The people were on side. A seriously good show from top to bottom."

[5.0] "I did not understand this. Hear me out: It reminded me of the Triple H vs. Randy Orton match from Royal Rumble 2005. Orton pretends he has a concussion, spends twenty minutes laying around "glassy-eyed" while H slowly works on him. Super boring. This had a similar storyline with Kasey (typically best as a hardcore high-intensity wrestler) barely cleared to compete and acting similarly concussed. Su Yung works well as a character when she has someone to play off of, but Kasey laying around motionless doesn't work the gimmick. A baffling match."

[4.0] "Match was meh, suicide dive was probably the only highlight and the finish with Steamboat throwing the towel in Ohno's face was not terrible."

[6.0] "Good show overall. Good matches mixed in with good segments. Always good commentary by Galli and Dealz."

[6.0] "Good match. Pretty competitive. Good combinations and exchanges. Some interesting elements on display in this match."

[6.0] "A solid Tag Match to open the show, but nothing particularly special. Moxley & Castagnoli getting the win was very much expected, but I think Esfinge and Star Jr. looked good here as well. I do appreciate AEW showcasing CMLL guys, but I do wish there was some sort of deeper story to their feud with Blackpool Combat Club."

[9.0] "This was a banger of a match. The storytelling was awesome with Styles selling the leg work from Tanahashi. The technical work was pretty good as well. Tanahashi got the win with a High Fly Flow."

[7.0] "This was a pretty good match in the catalog of these twos underwhelming matches. The crowd was invested and the in ring work was pretty good. Shinsuke works well as a heel and cheated to win."

[6.0] "This was kind of mediocre in my opinion. The crowd wasnt as good as it was in Saudi, as the in ring work was good but not really the best. The two barely take advantage of the stipulations and the finish almost totally took me out."

[3.0] "This was very tedious. Some okay hits but otherwise slow, non-fluid and boring. Easily the weakest match on the card."

[1.0] "Over-protected sex-creep (Terri Runnels, Janel Grant) that had a great rookie year and then ruined any good will that built through hotshotting himself over others (Kofi, Lashley, honestly a huge list.) There are good things that he was a part of and there's no doubt that he left a mark on the industry, but I don't think that balances the genuine harm he's caused to both the industry and the people in it. I want him to go away. Even if he somehow were cleared of all the wrong doings re: Runnels and Grant, I'd still probably only give him a 2 or 3 because he has so often just been the worst part of any apperance he decides to make, he's awful on the microphone, and generally has only been good when he decides its worth his time. Absolutely megalomaniac."

[4.0] "This match is very boring. A typical Hhh match where it goes 20-25 minutes and it drags at a very slow pace and by the time it reaches the climax its too late and it just becomes a bore. These two didnt mesh well and the inclusion of HBK couldnt save things. 2.5/5"

[6.0] "Chaotic and fun match with half the Actwres roster mainly featuring the more overly gimmicky and comedic characters in AWG with the exception of a small few. So about what youd expect."

[10.0] "Right after these two had put on 2 absolute bangers, the two put on an all time classic. Shinsuke would hit Tanahashi with his hard hitting strikes and Tanahashi would work on Shinsukes knees. The finishing stretch and the near falls were great, and Tanahashi would win with High Flying Flows."

[10.0] "Giant Panda redefined professional wrestling. In kayfabe, when inflated, there is no one who could beat prime Giant Panda. It's just facts. He's powerful, he's imposing and he executes his moveset with purpose and technique."

[9.0] "This was an awesome, intense, back and fourth match. The two went move for move, as the crowd was invested and the near falls were great. Shinsuke reversed a Rain Maker into an arm bar and made Okada tap out to win."

[10.0] "I have never witnessed such a natural babyface in my life. He moves like prime Hayabusa and has the psychology of Kobashi. It becomes very clear that in between filming he is studying 90s All Japan and perfecting his craft. The intricacies of his striking and his ability to pace a match is reminiscent of the British catch style, I have no doubt he has been watching Robbie Brookside and Johnny Saint in preparation for his matches. Brilliant."

[7.0] "The finish was seriously poorly overbooked but until that moment this went really well. Strangely, I enjoyed the dive spots most of all because they were either simple or played into the characters in the match."

[6.0] "This match was mediocre, kind of a watered down version of their Wrestlemania bout. The in ring work was back and fourth and intense, and the crowd was invested. The non finish kind of took me out of the match however."

[0.0] "This guy is absolutely trash. I met him outside a 7/11, I said I was a fan and he poked my eyes, laughed at me and told me to fuck off. Also he has a really bad name and looks like Miles Teller if he decided to become skinny fat. I've seen more charisma in a Marty Scurll hotel room. He should take notes from a proper workhorse, Paul Walter Hauser."

[10.0] "Innovative, passionate, charismatic, able to produce a classic match with anyone of any wrestling style, has had all-time great matches in just about every promotion he's ever stepped into, can be the biggest babyface in the world and the most hated heel in the world whenever he needs to be either, was able to make a cartoonist vegan villain work somehow, survived some of wrestling's most famously bad booking decisions only to come out stronger, and he's still doing it better than most 2 decades into his industry-defining career."

[10.0] "If ever there's a vote for the perfect triple threat match, this will be an option. It's got non-stop action delivered at an excellent pace, and some excellent striking sequences that almost look like they belong in an AJPW match."

[7.0] "This was a good match but the fact that the crowd was dead at this point kind of hindered it a little bit. The in ring work was good, then it got slow in the middle then sped up again. AJ took the win and Shinsuke turned heel on him after."

[9.0] "Probably my favorite Bloodsport matchup in my time watching them (since about 2018). Charlie Dempsey continues to be an extremely compelling and interesting ambassador for NXT on the global stage outside WWE's sphere. Dempsey showcases the technical/chain-wrestling fluidity that is quickly making one of my favorite talents on any card he appears. Makowski performed quite well as well. As i wasn't knowingly familiar with him he definitely rose to the occasion imo. The guys clicked really well and transition after transition from nasty hold to nasty hold is always welcome in my book"

[7.0] "[3.5*] In my opinion this was the Match Of The Night and the only one that is going to my Indication List. Sol Ruca is a phenomenal prospect and already my favorite from NXT. She will be a star just like Tiffany, and I think her in-ring ceiling is even higher. She is so athletic and her move-set is awesome."

[7.0] "This was a decent match but the fact that this match didnt have a crowd hindered it a little bit. The in ring work was pretty good and back and fourth, and AJ Styles won with a Phenomenal Forearm."

[3.0] "[1.5*] This one was pretty bad. All the Lexis King matches are bad but this one was even worse than normal. They kind of ruined a great babyface run for Von Wagner and I was really besides him after the storyline with his head bump and stuff, it is a shame. The action was dreadful."

[7.0] "Very fun match, not sure if this or the Ospreay match was the better for the night. Bucks have some fun spots, really taking it to Trent for a while, as well as them both doing the OC lazy kick spot. Also the Sue spot got a ton of heat from the crowd, just imagine if they'd gone through with it. Good heel turn for Trent that, if you've been paying any attention at all, has been brewing for months."

[6.0] "[3.25*] Very cool match that was on my Indication List until 30 seconds near the finish. Joaquin Wilde absolutely screwed it up on the trading blows spot with Axiom and looked like a fool on not breaking the pinfall when he was literally on the ring. This looked very badly, but the match was very nice before it. The same Wilde did a great spot with a flying DDT from the ropes. I was rooting for the OC."

[8.0] "This was a very good main event. The match had a slower pace as neither men are necessarily in their primes anymore. The in ring work wasnt the best but the spectacle of the match happening at all is amazing. Shinsuke won by misting Muta and hitting him with a Kinsasha."

[7.0] "Aside from some sloppiness from Rosa (she looked like she was stiffing Mariah at times, but then Mariah had to practically throw herself in some of the other spots) this was a good match. Toni on commentary was hilarious."

[6.0] "The thing you have to realise about Cody is that he is a massive carny who really likes applying the shine-heat-comeback-finish formula to, well, everything. So this was the shine part of the Lesnar trilogy, and in my opinion, probably the weaker one. Sure, Lesnar had to get his W back at Night of Champions and that was a solid 6/10 too, but part of me just wishes they just skipped to the end and waited until Summerslam to have a one-and-done."

[3.0] "I get it, the booking around this was trash. Watching Billy Gunn manhandle Jay White the whole match, including a choppy walk and brawl, is pretty ass. Jay White is the best cowardly heel in the biz, and I love seeing him weasle his way to a victory. But Jay's sneaky character actually CAN wrestle when pressed, so what the fuck was this lopsided nonsense with him just getting fucking obliterated? I don't actually think the match as a whole is a zero or even a one though, as it did have a good beginning and at least coherent action, even it was awful booking."

[9.0] "If you put a gun to my head, I'd slightly prefer Knoxville vs. Zayn from Mania 38 (which was, in any case, an episode of Jackass in disguise) for my personal favourite celebrity match, but this is a close second, because it's a masterclass in how you book them. Get a white hot face in Bad Bunny with a crowd baying for him to spill blood, get a competent ring general in Damien Priest, get some old hands like Carlito in to smooth the edges, and give it a stipulation where the edges that remain become part of the charm. It's so good that Priest looked spectacular in defeat, so much so that he was given the briefcase just two months later. WWE's international non-Saudi PPVs go from strength to strength, and Backlash 2023 is no slouch."

[8.0] "This was a really good match where both men were showcased well. The two mens styles and move sets complement each other well. Shinsuke was able to reverse almost everything Gunther did and targeted his arm. Gunther retained his title with a Powerbomb."

[8.0] "This was a very fun main event. Shinsuke delivers most of the offense in this match, all targeted toward Seths back, which Seth sold very well for the most part. Seth eventually started to Hulk Up after taking all that offense and beats Shinsuke."

[3.0] "This match is weird for a lot of reasons. Not least because the start of Roman's monster reign started at a PPV literally a week after Summerslam, which makes it weird to think that (as of 5 April 2024), the last man before the current Universal Champion has since passed away. But also, this was really just a way to hot potato the title onto Roman with minimal effort, especially from Roman, who lets Bray and Braun beat each other for ten minutes before signing the contract mid-match and putting both men away with ease. And while it gave Roman the aura he needed, it came at the expense of Bray's. Poor guy."

[6.0] "Good match. Pretty competitive. Good combinations and exchanges. Jabari impressed in this match while Alonzo kept the momentum going for his upcoming Junior Heavyweight title shot."

[7.0] "This was a decent match but I feel like this slightly underwhelmed. Nakamura spent most of the match attacking Seths back and Seth sold this surprisingly well. The in ring action was pretty good as well and Seth won clean."

[6.0] "Good match. Very quick paced, crowd was very into Fujita. Scary german off the top where I thought Riddle might've landed on his head, but on replay it looked ok. I think Riddle is a fine short term champion for the TV belt."

[7.0] "That was good, but it ended so fast like that was weird the last minute was really weird. I thought that they are gonna take more time than they take but I enjoyed that but like I said before it ended so fast but I really liked the technique here and the aggression and how much they hate each other it was so clear in the match ."

[5.0] "I get it, you clever boy Seth. "It's only an RKO when Randy Orton does it", you say, "otherwise it's a sparkling cutter". A+ for chickenshit heel tactics, But C- for execution. Not least because Randy's initials are actually RKO (Randall Keith Orton), so for you, it should be probably an SFR, not a SKO. Very silly main event."

[7.0] "Retrospectively, it aged well. In the zeitgeist of 2009, it was an ok promo. Few namedrops and pops, USA chants, a promo followed by a brawl. Nothing too spicy or inspiring but it can't go overly wrong. Perhaps not a paragon of good virtue but it was indeed Mr.McMahon who chose Drew. Being introduced by McMahon was often recognized as a blessing. It was just like that back in 2009 and it was like that ever since (as we saw with Theory). In the end he became the WHC. It was not the most memorable runs out there but it was something compared to his later 3MB fellows. Even if he was not as killer as he's today he had that cocky and agressive side to him which suited him decently."

[4.0] "In June 2014, Becky Lynch once riverdanced her way to the ring in an act so stereotypical that even Hornswoggle (who, by the way, is from Wisconsin) would pause for thought. Exactly ten months later, Sheamus surpassed that instance of cultural insensitivity by taking part in a "kiss me arse" match that was so offensively Oirish that you'd expect leprechauns to start dancing and Sheamus to ask "begorrah, where's me four leaf clover? " Not only that, but the loser of the match (Sheamus) didn't even kiss the arse of the winner! This stipulation is always kinda gross, and you could've at least shown some creativity by calling it a "póg mo thóin" match (as well as giving the kiddies watching a new swear word) but, alas, creativity and mid-2010s WWE do not go together well most times."

[9.0] "This was really good for a match that was put together last minute. Alexander played a great smarmy heel who spent most of the match getting literally tossed around by the bigger Tankman and Madden. The offense from Tankman and Madden were very hard hitting."

[10.0] "Very likely the greatest WWE match of all-time. What can be said that hasn't been said already? Nothing, it's a classic."

[10.0] "It was unbelievable to watch, the chops, punches, knees, elbows and kicks that they did to each other was something that I didn't see in the history of WWE. Walter and Ilja were near to die. I mean these guys made the wrestling like a real fight. Walter/Gunther is among the top 5-7 best wrestlers in the history of WWE who stepped on a ring, if the standard was only the in ring level. Every suplex that they made in the combat was beautiful to watch. the lariats were very stronger in the match. An important factor was the no presence of the crowd, because it adds much realism to the match, and the strikes were very unique. The purpose of the fight was that through the blows that were given, who was the one who resisted the most. Walter resited more an Ilja didn't. Its a must see match to watch and very unforgettable. (*****)"

[5.0] "Incredibly weird PPV. Not only do you have Sheamus at his most Oirish, you've also got a match where the two men just drive out of the arena halfway through, a "banned finisher" match where the banned finisher gets used, and weirdest of all, an entertaining 2015 Roman/Big Show match."

[5.0] "Way too short for a PPV match between two wrestlers with this skill level - especially given they were running back the King of the Ring final - and a disappointing finish."

[6.0] "This match was good but not great. Lykos is the drizzling shits but the others are such great and talented workers that they knew to work around it and pull smoke and mirrors to keep the focus off of him until it mattered. This was a bit too shtick-heavy for my liking and had way too many instances of 'awkwardly standing around in perfect position waiting for someone to eventually hit their move on me". Having said that, in the moments when everyone was on the same page this was fast-paced dumb fun and that's definitely not a bad thing to be on WM weekend. I give it 3 and 1/4 stars."

[6.0] "For the sake of first two matches and the ending promo I can give a 6. They were quality TV, nearly 30 minutes of decent wrestling. And then it just didn't flow. Bunch of bad bookings. One of the things I actually appreciate about AEW is how they carry out the fight outside the ring. But they do it WAY TOO MUCH. I expected Jay White to devour Gunn in 5 minutes at top but it just went on and on and on and on and on. 11 minutes more than half of it consisted of White getting squashed by Gunn. What the actual f? Then a lowblow DQ finish. White's AEW career keeps being an inconsistence piece of trivia, he just happens to be there and 0 nuance. He was a geek against MJF and he recaptured the momentum during C2 and now he's back to being a geek. Terrible. Young Bucks vs Best Friends was honestly disappointing. I can't say I liked how the match was constructed but I didn't like the post match either. Trent's turn didn't feel big or emotional even though Sue was there (which was the moment I understood Trent was going heel). They really did an opportunity to create one of those NXT turn moments but they just couldn't. I was like 'oh ok, it finally happened'. It's a personal opinion but I am also one of those who thinks OC should have refused the hug (given the fact Trent lost that match) if they really wanted to split the group. I hope they pull the best out of Trent (and hopefully followed by ChuckyT) and give them a justified reasoning rather than cliches. It seems OC will be the winner of the upcoming feud but Taylor&Baretta really needs their hype back. I guess OC will be fine despite I find him stale. Mercedes threw out a challenge for the TBS championship, it's whatever. I won't try to find a sense in it. Thunder Rosa once again looked worse than her opponent (which is May but still...) and I have 0 hype for her upcoming match. Swerve is a sick fuck."

[7.0] "Surprisingly a lot better than I thought it would be, because Hack Myers kinda sucks. But Sabu is able to carry him to something very enjoyable. ***1/2"

[10.0] "One of the best matches of Roman's career, and it's not just because he has the two seasoned ring-generals of Bryan and Edge with him. At the time of the match, Roman was at a cross-roads: does he drop the belt after a respectable 200 days carrying it, or does he go on the generational title run? We all know the option taken, and the rest is history. Roman made one promise before the match - "I'mma smash 'em, I'mma stack 'em, I'mma pin 'em, one, two, three" - and he did exactly that. My only gripe with the match is that it didn't see the debut of the Succession-esque theme song that would make him a legend - that would come a couple of weeks later - but that's a small gripe. As it stands, one of the best Mania main events of the 2000s."

[6.0] "It was alright. I don't understand Emersyn Jayne coming back out like 2 hours after taking a horrendous beating earlier in the day. Very cool piledriver ended things."
