[4.0] "This was an okay tag match, and it only necessary to watch if your interested in watching through the entire feud between Angle and Austin. Nothing much else to it really; technically it was fine, but totally unspectacular otherwise. Austin interferes to try and help his team win, but it fails and Angle picks up the win for his team instead. **"

Have you ever advertised an event you had to cancel after one match just because you could not do your job ? ave you already had to issue a public statement blaming the guy you booked down in order to save face ? Hexagon Catch did just that this day."

It's entertaining because the man has unmatched charisma and knows how to make silly and stupid promos work, but there wasn't any real effort to make this a great promo, just having some easy and basic fun. Austin Theory played his role quite well, which was overly generic as well, but he did good and then he tried to use this as a way to put himself over as a heel."

[7.0] "The opening segment with Cody Rhodes went on a bit too long in my opinion, Rhodes speaking about his upcoming match with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. CM Punk/Drew McIntyre/Seth Rollins segment was entertaining, especially with the comments made by CM Punk and Punk announcing he's gonna be on commentary at WrestleMania was good to see. Rhea Ripley/Becky Lynch segment was okay with Lynch getting fired up ahead of her and Ripley's title match, the fight at the end of the segment was fun to watch. Ricochet vs JD McDonagh: A great match between these two, continuing on from their part in the gauntlet match a few weeks ago, both gave a solid performance, Ricochet proving once again on TV that he is the highlight of the night, Ricochet getting the win was good to see [***3/4]. Candice LaRae vs Ivy Nile: I did not like this match due to the timing being too short, LaRae getting the win by pinning Nile with her feet on the ropes was not needed [DUD]. #DIY vs The New Day: A match that was solid to start but when The Judgement Day interfered it ruined it, both teams in this match had a solid performance [**1/4]. Andrade vs Giovanni Vinci: A solid match that had a few decent moments, Andrade continuing to win was good to see [**]. Bronson Reed vs Sami Zayn: An okay match, the action was slightly above average, I don't understand Zayn losing so close to challenging Gunther for the IC title at WrestleMania as he is losing momentum [*3/4]. Jey Uso vs Shinsuke Nakamura: The match was a slightly average main event match, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa trying to get involved only for Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins getting involved, the match did feel a bit rushed at times, the timing being short was not great, could have been longer [*1/2]. The Rock attacking Cody Rhodes to end the episode was not needed but did help further the story between Rhodes and The Bloodline."

[10.0] "Best segment I've seen since Sami Zayn's trial. Drew McIntyre's game is on fire right now, Punk mic skills are unmatched and Seth Rollins coming out was just the icing in the cake. A lot of fun an great moments here (Punk shutting Rollins up when he told him he couldn't referee at WrestleMania by doing a 3 count, McIntyre calling fans perverts for trying to look under his kilt, all three men showing their hatred towards each other). If I ever saw a potential perfect Triple Threat, this must be that. So much fun with this one."

[8.0] "Starr works with more cunning and preen in the early going, goading WALTER and trying to avoid his repeated mistakes from prior matches. He does end up staggering WALT once or twice before things go south, as usual. Starr is getting more adept at incorporating Fighting Spirit moments into these matches, as his work near the end to hype himself up directly hinders him and causes another ref's decision loss. Watching these two fight over and over and add these wrinkles to their dynamic is rewarding, because i'm getting to see them slowly and slowly get to their best version of their match. Introducing Counter - Reverse Counter elements one-by-one to not only spice up the matches but also suggest that these two actually know each other so well in the ring that they can't help but notice these beats. [5.0] "This was fundamentally sound, although it got admittedly wearisome at points. The American Express was a short-lived team created to replace the US Express after Barry Windham fled the company. I guess they were technically fine, but nothing they do stands out to me. The same can be said for this match. It followed the most basic tag team structure you can ever find. They teased some limb work early on with the Express targeting Valentine's left leg. However, it was quickly ignored once they got to the heat spot. Valentine was clearly head and shoulders above the other three guys here, with his offense and selling looking much better than them. Spivey had a decent hot tag moment, and they teased a few nearfalls before heading to the finish, which saw Valentine sneak a shot behind the ref's back to give the win to his team. Like I said, it was technically solid yet ultimately dull. [**3/4]"

And their recent tenure (Having to cancel an event because the ring they rented broke down after one match due to improper set up, then issuing a public statement blaming one of the wrestlers in order to save face) isn't going to help. To their credit though, their communication staff speaks and writes proper French. Let's see if they ever evolve their product."

[8.0] "Even if an Andretti's victory was unthinkable, ZSJ did everything to put over his younger mate, while Andretti took this very chance to shine. He had the crowd in the palm of his hands, and had the occasion to display some great comebacks in the face of a Sabre Jr. who took a lot of pleasure to bully his challenger. A great mix of styles, while ZSJ put on a great limb-work to emphasise the babyface in jeopardy story with Andretti kept up with those spots. The finish looked absolutely ruthless. A superb showcase for Action Andretti, he deserves it."

[10.0] "I understand that this match is slower than what a lot of modern fans are used to, but the psychology and real-sports feel made it almost perfect for its time. Destroyer has been largely forgotten sixty years on and Rikodozan's status as a folk hero in Japan is unfortunately overlooked by the current wrestling audience, which is a shame given how important both guys and matches like this were to the formation of the Japanese wrestling scene."

Leon Slater quickly got over with the crowd and really impressed, he not only has the athletic ability but he works a crowd really well for someone so young. Good technical wrestling with Bockwinkel in control but he has to watch out for Lawler who is strong and has a powerful punch. Match begins to fall apart at the finish with a heap of ref bumps. Lawler pins Bockwinkel but if course it's actually a DQ so Bockwinkel retains the title."

All three lads looked well and took some nasty bumps, especially on these two tables. AEW fans reacted well for that kind of explosive sprint, that's cool."

Otherwise, Cuma Bolat vs. R1 was an enjoying mix of styles, while Kuro did his very best to put over Falco. The tag fight was cool, while Celine vs. Jazze Parry was short, but sweet."

[9.0] "This was the main event, and oh my God, it absolutely should have been. Two absolute brutal hosses hit each other with the stiffest offense in Nihon. The story of this match is the younger BIG BOSS suddenly finding himself in the rare situation of being the smaller man in the ring under the veteran Ishikawa, and doing everything he can to fight out of his shadow. Kzy, his Natural Vibes teammate, is there in the corner rallying the Dragon Gate favorite and bringing the crowd to absolute frenzy for all of his aniki's hope spots. This is a match that will absolutely make you believe, and the only reason I haven't given it an instant 10 is because I want to rewatch it and make sure I really do feel the same way upon rewatching that I did viewing in person. Shimizu crumbling at the end was inevitable, and yet, painfully heartbreaking. I hope Dragon Gate heard the cheers."

[6.0] "Punch "wins" the match, but the Owarai title only changes hands on audience participation, and in that light, I don't think Tominaga had a chance. Lingerie Muto's gimmick is mostly making fun of Great Muta's failing knees, and the amount of variety he gets out of this, both on offense and defense, is hilarious and surprisingly varied. Punch played the straight man for a lot of Muta's shtick, so there was never any doubt of who might win. Punch's funniest moment was by far when the audience was asked to clap for him during the final review, and his deflating act was genuinely hysterical/heartbreaking. I think a more evenly booked match might've given Tominaga more to work with for the audience, but I don't think Dragon Gate is interested in taking the title off Muto anytime soon. His reign will likely last longer than his knees, at least."

[10.0] "Best match of Revolution, and once again another contender for match of the year featuring Will Ospreay. As always, Ospreay is just incredible as always, one of the best of the modern era, and a 5 star match machine. Of course, not discrediting Konosuke Takeshita either, because he holds up his end just as much. Really beautiful high flying stuff, really stiff chops that immediately welt on the skin, some amazing kicks and strikes, and incredible fucking reversals and counters. Seriously inhuman shit, and it just keeps getting better in it's over 20 minute length. That spinning elbow strike, the tiger drivers, that fucking turnbuckle spot that looked absolutely painful, the insane lariat, styles clash, one after the other. THAT SERIES TO THE KICK OUT AT ONE IS FUCKING INSANE AND DONE BEAUTIFULLY. I'm so happy to see Will Ospreay is being pushed as strong as he should be, and Takeshita looked incredible here too. What a beautiful match."

This isn't really a PPV quality match for the majority of it in my opinion, and when Toni Storm's entrance is the best part out of the entire match, especially with the really dumb finish. Ugh."

Brutal stuff for sure, with the blood really being able to add a lot to the overall match (probably could've had more blood, though maybe I'm mental). Loved the tributes to both Road Warriors and Midnight Express. Certainly a bit of an underrated one here, though again that first half is why I understand as to why its a little lower rating than expected. Definitely don't sleep on this one."

[8.0] "An extended squash match, but a really solid one. Breaking down Orange Cassidy every minute, and overall a really solid story being told here but two solid wrestlers. Really putting Roderick Strong on the map without making Orange Cassidy looking weak, as it was the pre-existing injury that costed him the match. He sells so damn well throughout this entire bout. Roderick Strong looked absolutely incredible, genuinely just looks impressive. And holy shit! Kyle O' Reilly! Lovely to see him. Really fun match."

I've seen five year olds that hit harder than Tanga Loa does now, and O-khan can't seem to decide on what his character wants to be. He teases at a more serious trajectory, but moves like sitting on his opponent in the corner and those stupid Mongolian chops are just fucking awful. The match was boring and didn't deserve the kickouts."

[5.0] "Not a bad match at all, but this story feels really forced. Let's see : 2 weeks agoSami won a gauntlet by surviving 3 other wrestlers including Reed and showing that he was a strong opponent for Gunther. Now, he doubts so much of himself that he's getting dominated by Reed, had a short come-back, and then lose because ... Gunther looked at him from the stage ? ... 5/10."

[10.0] "Essentially this is an ideal sub 20-minute match, which is funny because there is another match of the same quality on this card. But unlike the Ishii/Shibata match, this match relies more heavily on the characters of both Shinsuke and Ibushi, and they play them to perfection. The match is obviously being used to showcase Ibsuhi a bit, but Shinsuke is doing his normal thing, with some brutal knees and the other get-under-your-skin offense. It all leads to the epic climax where we see Murder Ibsuhi comes out, 3 bomayes, a kickout at 1, and one more bomaye for the win. The crazy thing is that this a just a taste of how great their WK match will be down the line, but at the same time a match I like even more. 5 Stars."

[9.0] "Incredible stuff. Nakamura always brought his A-game from Wrestle Kingdom, and this might be his most legendary match. It's a violent, hard-hitting encounter that is much more of a fight than a wrestling match. If you've ever been confused about why people are so disappointed with Nakamura's time in WWE, show them this. 4.75 Stars."

[6.0] "I'm not especially excited to see either of these men in 2024, so I'm not fussed about Owens winning. He may not be more than a loyalty hire at this point, but he put in a solid effort and he's a lower card fixture in New Japan at this point as much as Ishii. Match has a humorous beginning with Ishii having to sprint back to the ring, and then levels out awhile before picking up right at the end. The Styles Clash is a legacy move above Owen's pay grade, so using that was a miss for me personally, and Ishii's matches don't elicit much actual emotion from me anymore, he just does certain stuff like the pop-up no sell too much. But the ending was decent."

[8.0] "A fantastic heel in his prime, one of the best promos and genius of psychology. But what gives him such a high rating is his inspiring journey of rehabilitation and recovery from the depths of substance abuse and the decades of trauma he faced. Sure, he had his help, but he was able to bring himself out of the dark pit he was in. That's what makes him a legend to me."

[5.0] "MEAT! MEAT! MEAT! That was certainly a fun spot, and a highlight of the overall match. Well, at least with the big meaty boys. Didn't work with the smaller guys. There is certainly some good spots here and there from most of the performers here, but god there is some dead space here. and just a little too much all over the place. This match is fine, but you aren't missing anything. It's the piss & snack break match."

[7.0] "Great example of "too much of a good thing" in wrestling. I think these two could've put on an amazing 30-35 minute match here but nearly 1 hour was just excessive. This doesn't have what the old marathon matches the AJPW guys would do in the 90s where it felt like a slow build to a really spectacular finish after 50 minutes. The length really doesn't play to Speedball's strengths here since he's such a dynamic wrestler. They make a big deal out of Alexander's injured arm that Speedball works over for a while and then they just kinda forget about it for several minutes. Overall, a pretty bloated and at times good match."

[10.0] "Probably way too high of a rating, but I really don't care. Not the best ring work at all but just the brutalness of the entire match, and the build up and dread that's so beautifully encapsulated, with Onita trying to save Terry Funk from the explosion by covering him up. There's something that's so special about this match, and I can't help but have it be in my top 10 favorites."

[10.0] "I think what I love about this promo so much is that it really makes you sympathize with Cactus Jack even though he is the heel in this feud. He's anti-hardcore because of the trauma he has experienced. He feels responsible for the hardcore craze, and he hates what it has become and what it has done to people he cares about. He's so traumatized and focused on the picture of trying to control things, trying to fix things, trying to right the wrongs of everything he has been involved of, that while he thinks he sees the big picture, that isn't really the case. I think why I love this promo and in a way relate to it hard is my own experience of mental health and trauma, and the times where I fell into the same sort of panic and fear and disassociation from everything. This promo is so real, and it hurts. It's one of the best period."

She is a great wrestler and, for sure, an upcoming name for the future generation. A star. She is solid on the mic but has unlimited charisma within her gimmick; she plays it very well. She is very athletic and probably has the best moonsault in WWE currently, in my opinion. I might raise my rating higher in the future which normally I finalise what I put down but this will be an exception."

[10.0] "Not much else can be said about this match. A true masterpiece. But what I truly love about this match is that it FEELS like a true heavyweight fight. Every move is hit with a brutality that should only be felt in these types of matches. I know Kenny is going to kick out of the Rainmaker every time I watch this, but it shocks me every time. The grit displayed by both guys in those last 10 minutes or so is what wrestling is all about. But again, a brutal hard-hitting match that was flawlessly executed. Without a doubt one of the best matches of all time."

This is a hard hitting and intense affair where Sugiura and Ohara out muscle and out experience the cocky heels, and it isn't until a blistering finish that Ben-K and Minoura (who really deserves his flowers--pun intended--for his selling in this match) are able to get a by-the-skin-of-thier-teeth victory. Everyone looked great here and I can tell you there's at least one new fan in that audience of Sugiura then there was before."

[6.0] "This was a very weird, ambitious match that tried to balance Kikutaro's comedy with the very serious shoot-work of Ryo Kawamura and Daddy Mocchy. It mostly worked! Kikutaro was always there to take the pinfall among the "serious" wrestlers and, seemingly aware of his fate, Kikutaro tried to use every bit of his ability to see through the 4th way to avoid matching up with Mochizuki. I think some might find the balance of his match is off--it's almost a complete tonal shift between Kawamura/Mocchy's intense strikes to the Kikutaro tags--but that was always the point of this match, too. Aside from its ambition, I don't feel like Yamato was really a factor at all in this match, other then as a less threatening opponent for Kikutaro to fight. Which, in a way, is kind of insulting to Yamato."

There wasn't a dud anywhere on this card, with a nice balance of story, heart, and comedy. It is a smaller Japanese crowd and this might distract for some people that want very loud crowd reactions all the time--but even then, the heart behind Shimizu vs. Ishikawa delivered that."

Starts off with some solid arm work, but Hardy looks gassed and/or impaired immediately, and just listlessly goes through the motions for the rest of the match while Naito tries - to some success, to his credit - to inject actual emotion."

[8.0] "This was an extremely entertaining and blistering 20 minutes where both teams traded in heel/face dynamics and left everything they had in the ring. Sitting ring side, I was pretty certain for most of the match that Dragon Dia/Alejandro would win, especially since Alejandro took a brunt of abuse throughout a large part of the match. The only moment that I really thought victory was in jeopardy was when Kzy started hitting everyone with those stiff uppercuts, which looked incredible in person. Yo-hey was clearly the most over person in attendance, and his performance was fine, but I think the crowd's enjoyment with him was reflected more in his charisma than anything. As far as performance, Dia and Kzy were the stars here, and I think Dragon gate knows that to some extent, since Kzy would appear in various ways three more times during the show. The non-finish is a little disappointing but it does protect both teams, who left it all in the ring. A great opener married mostly just by its ending."

[] "In 2010, I was introduced to wrestling by two kids in my Second-Grade class. I remember vividly that one was a John Cena fan, and the other a Rey Mysterio fan. I asked my Mom, if I could watch WWE, she responded with "NO" I asked why she said "They portray women horribly" she may have had a point in 2010, but anyway, My Dad grew up watching the territory scene in the 70s, specifically Atlantic Grand Prix, and later WWF in the 80s, through about 1995, and then he switched to WCW, mainly due to the fact he didn't like DX, and thought the nWo was less inappropriate. He watched wrestling up until The Finger Poke of Doom. I convinced my dad to let me watch some wrestling, and we did. It wasn't very good in late 2010 early 2011. Dad reminisced about Piper, Owen Hart, Bret Hart, and others, we got WrestleMania 2011, and besides "The End of an Era" match it sucked. Then dad came to me one Tuesday in June, and told me, that the Raw that aired was on the DVR, and I had to see it, sure enough, it was the pipebomb. And that, is how I became a wrestling fan. Thanks to John Cena, a DVR, and one Voice for the voiceless."

Tenzan fights back throughout and the crowd comes alive for him fighting out of yet another choke. Then we get a ref bump and shenanigans before Tenzan wins. Match was fine, just unspectacular."

[] "Raw Emotion. Two men talking, without constant, "WHAT" or any run ins. just two guys whose paths have crossed again. It will be fascinating to see if Punk and Cody will do any kind of series post Mania, as Punk is clearly gonna feud with either Rollins, or more likely McIntyre. Anyway, THE EMOTION. Tony Kahn is probably having a Herb Abrams moment right now, wondering how the hell he let these two get away."

[] "I loved it. Here are some highlights and some commentaries on my favorite parts. "Pat McAfee, Pat McAfee... Got yourself a little program, I understand. I apologize, I'm not a daily listener. I listen to the Experience and the Drive Thru." WELL WOULDNT YOU KNOW WHO WON THE PONY! "Somebody who hasn't talked about me, hasn't said a word, The Rock. And I'd like to think that's because ten years ago he remembers coming face-to-face with the Second City Saint and realizing that his arms were just too short to box with God." What a great reminder of that banger line. "I haven't said a word. I've been tight-lipped, that's because I don't perpetually terminally live on the internet, I handle my business live and in living color." LIKE MUSSOLINI! "Turn off this stupid song. Turn the stupid song off, nobody wants to listen to that." If I had one criticism, I would have saved that for Fran Drescher/Waluigi. "Internet troll in a skirt" That sounds like 50% of AEW marks. "This is 2024, you wanna get canceled for talk like that? " Hold on is that a hidden reference to Punk when he had a Dale Earnhardt mustache telling a fan he had "a vagina" and that he was "a homo"? "Drew McIntyre, I ain't never had to put another man's name on a t-shirt to sell it." Guess he forgot about "I'm a Paul Heyman Guy" But I digress... (TAZZ! ) "Struggled to get out of that thing with my biceps, something you've probably never had an issue with! " OWWW "You never drink, you never do drugs, yet you spend all your time in rehab." DOUBLE OWWWWW "Man, just boo this man... yeah. You tell him who you paid to see." Punk may be the only man to get away with saying that. "You're my muse, man! " Well, Punk certainly has more than a fair bit of art on his body. "I can't hear what you're saying." Shades of Stone Cold and Farrooq. "I would love to get in that ring, but I know what the people of Chicago are like. You probably have a weapon in there and you'll try 'n' take me out before WrestleMania." I mean... is he wrong? Drew sits pipebomb style and Punk quotes one LA Knight: "Yeah." Surprised the crowd didn't do it with him. "Do not shoot up my kilt, you perv! " THAT SOUNDED LIKE PIPER! "Chosen One? Who chose you? Who? What was his name? Huh? " I can't type emojis, otherwise I would put the big eyes shocked one. Punk rolls his eyes in the greatest explanation to Fran Drescher/Waluigi entering doing a weird jig learned from her husband Becky Lynch. Seth Rollins: "Chicago Welcome to Monday Night [Crowd responds with 'Rollins! '] And now that we've firmly established who's show this is, who's show this has been, and who's show this is going to be, if you two children haaaa." Oy vey that's shit. I'm sick of Fran/Waluigi, "Just let it happen, brother. Just let it happen. It could be your show, it's my city." In other news The Nanny was cancelled thirtyish years ago. "PG, brother! " I thought it was back to 14... "You wanna know what I think, Punk? " Nope. "Nope." THATS WHAT I SAID! Drescher/Waluigi does his typical "wah wah Hah hah" monologue which almost ruined it, "All the 'coalminers'" Never thought I'd like that reference. "The lifts in your boots, the shoe polish in your beard, your skirt, all the pyro in the world and that stupid sword you came out to the ring with." Great roast. "Your bell bottoms, your Championship, your wife". I heard Becky pegs Seth. And Punk just double Pegged him. Anyway I loved it. 9.5/10 Drescher brought it down. I get that he's a great wrestler, but I groan anytime he comes out. and he's apparently a babyface."

Gresham didn't have the type of performance you'd want from someone who was being crowned what could've been the final ROH champion, while Lethal did his best to hold is together. Meh overall, but its strong points are obvious. 3.25 Stars."

[10.0] "This is an all time classic. The in ring action was pretty good, however that wasnt even the best part. The best part was the drama and storytelling, because let me tell you, that near fall had me believing the Streak was done. However, The Undertaker won and the image of the three men on the top of the ramp is iconic as hell."

[8.0] "This match definitely delivered. The aura behind it was just amazing, and the in ring work wasnt bad either. Seriously, Rock was able to keep up with Cena and even pulling out moves he hadnt used in over a decade. Rock won and the image of Cena sitting on the ramp will never not be iconic."

[6.0] "This was eh. It was mostly just brawling. Rock eliminates Big Show less then five minutes in, Trips takes twenty minutes to take out Foley, then Rock and Trips go at it for nearly twenty minutes, with a dead crowd and a random heel turn by Vince for Triple H to retain."

[7.0] "It was a fun match. I think it was very creative to have 2 falls to split the titles. The crowd was dead/disinterested in the match, but the three men in the match were putting on an in ring clinic. Benoit took the Intercontinental Title while Jericho took the European Title."

[5.0] "I appreciate the frantic pace and overall energy this match had. They put on a really good performance for a ring full of four guys that weren't exactly amazingly over with the audience at the time. Everyone's timing was really spot on, and the pacing the match had kept your eyes on it at all times. I might have rated this a bit higher than 5 points, but I couldn't justify it due to the simple fact that they used the tired out overplayed multi-man-match formula. Breaking the match into essentially a ton of mini one-on-one matches. From the time the bell rings, there's not one point where the ring has more than two men on their feet at the same time. It's such a tired and lazy formula, I almost instantly check out whenever I see the playbook getting read. A solid, maybe slightly above average fatal four way, but it is in no way inventive or creative."

[4.0] "[2.5*] Normal match without emotion or anything like that, it just existed to fill the hours of the show and provide a final segment involving Rhodes and Bloodline. The match could be interesting if Jey and Nakamura were given more time to build something. The only thing I liked was Jey Uso's Superkick and Spear sequence."

[4.0] "[2.75*] I understand what WWE tried to do here, Sami going to Wrestlemania being the biggest Babyface possible, but it's disconcerting to see the number one contender lose cleanly to Reed who probably won't even be at Wrestlemania, it makes them question Sami's victory over Sami even more. Gable. The in-ring action was solid, Bronson Reed was dominant, and I liked his Tsunami here, but the booking decision didn't please me at all."

[5.0] "[3.0*] Another very short match, the focus of this Raw was zero on the matches but on the segments. Andrade and Vinci are two very talented wrestlers, Andrade executes the moves very well, in a very clean way, Vinci's selling made it a cool match to watch. Andrade's new finisher is incredible, a variation of a Spinning DDT."

[7.0] "[3.75*] Very good match, Ricochet always delivers good matches when he has the opportunity to appear on television. I really liked Ricochet's energy and moves, he did some incredible jumps and his skill was great, his Poisonrana was sensational. Devlin matched Ricochet's attacks well, he always does a solid job, and I like his selling. The speed of Ricochet's counter to do the Canadian Destroyer was incredible. The match overall was very good and it was great to see Ricochet facing someone talented and having more space on Raw."

[7.0] "[4.0*] Very short but very good match, I believe it is the only match of less than five minutes that can be rated in cagematch. Before the match even starts, Ricky Marvin does an incredible suicide dive on Kenta. The pacing of the match is incredible, Kenta tries some moves and Ricky Marvin reverses everything with Hurricanrana, Kenta finally hits a GTS and a kick to Marvin's head to win, showing how Kenta needs few strikes to win. Marvin's selling on the GTS is incredible."

[3.0] "[2.0*] I watched this match because I miss seeing Big E in the ring, he will probably never come back. Unfortunately the match was terrible, I really thought they could do good things using the stipulation, but in reality it was a real mess and the time they stood still from one spot to the next bothered me, there was simply no chemistry between them. The match was already not good and Commander Azez's interference at the end made everything worse."

[9.0] "[4.75*] This is the beginning of what is the best rivalry in the history of Ring of Honor, Punk and Joe do perhaps the best work of their careers during this rivalry and tell incredible stories with each match. The beginning of the match has a slow build-up, with both exploring each other's limitations in a great technical duel, full of grappling and with Punk putting Joe in the Headlock for many minutes. The match is very tense, Joe and Punk sell each other's attacks very well, especially Punk who makes Joe look like a monster (he really is one). The end of the match is very dramatic, full of urgency and desperation on both sides to win the match, which created a sensational atmosphere for the match. The time limit draw was perfect for the two to continue their rivalry and make a classic here, a very good match, where Samoa Joe and CM Punk do an incredible job."

[10.0] "[5.0*] This match is very important to NOAH's history, it was the first time they held an event at the Tokyo Dome, and this happened during Kobashi's legendary reign for the GHC Heavyweight Championship. The choice of opponent was perfect as Akiyama and Kobashi had a great rivalry a few years ago, and the bad blood between them still existed. The match had a very slow build up and I got bored at times, but the moment Kobashi hits his chop sequence and does a suplex outside the ring, the pace of the match changes completely. Akiyama responded to Kobashi's attack with an Exploder out of the ring, which was INSANE. When the match approaches the end, everything gets very intense and the urgency they put into winning this match is incredible, Kobashi does literally everything to win but Akiyama always kicks out, Brainbuster, Burning Lariat and Moonsault, Akiyama simply doesn't give up on the match , so Kobashi is forced to do the Burning Hammer to retain the belt and beat his enemy. Phenomenal match, Kobashi and Akiyama's performance is tremendous, with each blow the match gets better and more intense and considering its entire context it's impossible not to give it five stars."

04:48
[6.0] "[3.5*] It was a very technical battle between Keiji Mutoh and Masahiro Chono, they started with a lot of intensity that naturally decreased as the match progressed, they made some really cool submissions, with Mutoh working a lot on Chono's leg which didn't sell the injury, doing several Yakuza Kicks. The intensity between the two returns at the end, but I didn't like the ending and the lack of creativity in the match at some points. The best moment of the match for me was Mutoh resisting Chono's STF, very cool."

[7.0] "[4.0*] This was a fun match, I saw a lot of cool things in this match, Tenryu was obviously one of the best wrestlers of that time, his technique was incredible. Hogan making a perfect transition to an armbar at the beginning of the match is not a move I expected from Hogan, he did some cool things in this match, he did his usual moves but adapted to another style that Tenryu imposed. Tenryu's powerbomb on Hogan was really good, probably the best moment of the match. Hogan really tried hard and the end of the match was really cool, with a Lariat and Leg Drop sequence from Hogan to beat Tenryu, a really cool match."

[5.0] "For a match that's 15 minutes, this was way too overdone. Some of the bumps are damn solid, but the action jumped from place to place and didn't have the crowd investment to make it an exciting spotfest. I like both teams, but this one was just fine. 2.75 Stars."

[10.0] "[5.25*] This is a very worthy final for G1 Climax, Ibushi and Tanahashi were Amazing here. Tanahashi used all his experience to do a very strong limb work on Ibushi's legs, he did several submissions and some Dragon Screw to weaken Kota's legs. The exchanges between them are frantic, this is peak Ibushi so as expected the match has sequences that are frantic and electrifying. I loved the exchange of slaps between them, things get extremely serious after that, they have a fantastic sequence that lasts until the end of the match, the counters and reverses that happen are impeccable, Tanahashi's High Fly Flow sequence is perfect and ends the match in an incredible way. Absolutely loved this match, what an incredible ending and I miss those New Japan days."

[8.0] "[4.5*] Definitely one of the best luchas I've ever seen, CMLL made me like and want to know more about Lucha Libre, Mascara Dorada is without a doubt one of the most impressive talents and Luchadores in the world today. Titan also has a very interesting style, he is a classic luchador but uses a lot of submissions and is very technical. The execution of Titan and Mascara Dorada are spectacular, they do everything in an incredible way here. Mascara Dorada walked on ropes like Jesus walked on Water was insane to see. They had an incredible finisher exchange at the end, with Titan resisting a Shooting star press and Mascara surviving a stomp, after which Titan managed to dominate the match and make Mascara tap out. Great match and great performance from both."

[2.0] "What even was this piece of content I just re-watched? Maybe the most convoluted messes of a match I've ever seen. It really feels like Triple H wanted to beat Punk for his ego, but had to make it feel really messy so it didn't seem like that was the reason for the match. It feels like the return of the Reign of Terror, because Triple H shovels another top guy down for no reason. Punk is as hot as it gets at this time. Triple H is a part timer. There's no possible reason or argument you can give me to make the decision of him beating Punk make sense other than Triple H wanted to bury him and pacify his ego. MAYBE if they had a re-match at Survivor Series or another big PPV where Punk got his win back, and this was part of a greater story, but that never happened. So it was bad in the moment and made worse in hindsight. The other funny thing is, Triple H in the lead up to the match (and really felt this way in real life) calls Punk 'skinny-fat.' But at this point in his career, Punk is around the leanest he'd ever be. And this match is probably the most out of shape I've ever seen Triple H. He very clearly has a gut, and he barely looks in ring shape. He's in better shape during his run against Roman years later. Not saying that to shame him, but it just really puts into perspective how arbitrary the top brass' criticisms of Punk were. That aside. It gets even MESSIER. Truth and Miz run in for a very shallow reason. They attack both guys, and then decide Punk is who they want to win. Who...it sort of makes them babyfaces, because they're trying to help Punk depose a tyrant. Then we take a ref bump, Johnny Ace comes out, Nash comes out...once again attacking both guys. Punk even SAVES Triple H from Nash which makes very little sense. They're really trying to make it seem like Nash and maybe Ace are the true heels, and that they're playing both men, but it's SO obvious this is going to be a swerve. A not-horrible but pretty generic no holds bared match made even worst by some awful, lame-brained, convoluted booking done solely to stroke Triple H's ego and try and quell the popularity of a guy he and Vince didn't like."

[8.0] "[4.5*] A very important match in the history of NXT, the first banger and a very fundamental match of what was to come, the action in the ring here is incredible, simply an incredible work by Cesaro who shows all his talent, technique and strength. Sami was perfectly constructed as an underdog here, being dominated by Cesaro and generating expectations with each counter he performed. Sami's counters at the end were amazing, Cesaro's victory at the end was dominant and the match still managed to leave Sami over. Fantastic match."
