Hi everyone,

as some of you know, there are already exceptions in place to prevent some database entries from being rated:

1) workers can only be rated if their career ended after 1950 to prevent unbelievable ratings based on hearsay of a worker's legacy (i.e. the "Hackenschmidt rule")

2) workers marked as "celebrity" are not allowed to be rated, because too many users tend to rate them on non-wrestling accomplishments (i.e. the "Schwarzenegger rule")

3) titles cannot be rated in the first six months of their existence to prevent hyperbole negative or positive ratings based on the first few title matches or reigns (i.e. the "WWE Universal Title rule")

I have just added a fourth exception to this list:

4) promotions cannot be rated until at least one show has taken place OR at least one title with champions exists (let's call it the "All Elite Wrestling rule")

Look, I am also excited about All Elite Wrestling and the potential for some shakeup or dare-I-say competition in the North American wrestling scene, but rating 10s across the board for a promotion based on promotional material is just insane and goes against everything this database and ratings system is supposed to be. The ratings that have already been entered will be removed in due time (the users have been contacted, give it a few days).

Cheers!
