[9.0] "An heritage even bigger and more important than the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. A legendary legacy, a great lineage of champions, great great great title. I would not consider its stint in WWE."
[8.0] "Fantastic midcard title. The US title was the IC beltof WCW and I would call it the workhorse belt of the company, or sometimes it was used to advance a story and not be important. Overall the belt has a professional look, resembles the style WCW was to the audience."
[8.0] "The best looking belt I have ever seen. Looked so prestigious. It sometimes went to questionable and outright horrible wrestlers that had no ability to do anything for the belt or for themselves with the belt (One Man Gang, Konnan, Hugh Morrus? David Flair? Are you kidding me? ), while others could have been elevated and could have made the belt even more important."
[8.0] "Probably one of the few titles that WCW didn't screw up, save for it being one of the dozen belts that Lance Storm held at the same time, David Flair probably shouldn't have gotten it either. Was always seen as a launching pad to the Heavyweight title - Goldberg, DDP & Benoit illustrating this. Had some classic matches fought for it too (Jarrett Vs Benoit Ladder match being one) a very nice and historic title if you include the NWA's lineage. In WWE this just became just another (albeit rather fancy looking) belt."
[7.0] "In hindsight, this was a well booked and comparatively prestigious midcard championship but never seemed quite important enough to care while it was actually in use."
[10.0] "I think it's possibly the best booked mid-card belt in wrestling history. It was always used effectively as a stepping stone to the world title and even continued to be booked relatively well in the Russo era, a time where every other belt was systematically destroyed."
[7.0] "This is one of the better mid card titles in wrestling, it's a shame WWE didn't keep it around and opted for their own, althoguh judging by how that went especially recently that is probably for the best. Kudos WCW"
[10.0] "I think the WCW United States Champion is probably the most prestigious non heavyweight, tag team, or women's champion in mainstream North American if you look at the reigns most of the champions they had a lot have it which made the lower guys, who won that much better."
