[7.0] "Former "NWA Scottish Heavyweight Championship", this title survives now in the Scottish Wrestling Alliance. Though primarily existing when UK wasn't in a particular wrestling hotspot, this title has been held by a number of wrestlers who would go on to do big things in the UK (and beyond), such as Joe Coffey, Johnny Moss, Jack Jester, BT Gunn, Wolfgang, Lionheart and Mikey Whiplash - as well as wrestlers who have done well abroad before returning to the UK (Drew Galloway and Doug Williams). Presently the title is held by Mark Coffey, one of the UK's very best and certainly one of the most talented men to hold the championship. The title also gets some international points for Conscience (inaugural champion) taking the belt to Canada and England for early title defenses."
