114.01.2021AlexLennonPW8.08 points at the minute, either separate it from the Heavyweight title (would be 10 points) or unify them (preferably not though)

312.01.2021BlackWind6.0It started as midcard belt and got better. Even main evented Tokyo Dome alone but that title is now being defended with Heavyweight title so it doesn't have any value for me. If they seperate the titles and or defend them seperately, i can change my mind.

807.12.2020medouse9.0Second most prestigious wrestling title in the world. I wouldn't consider it as mid-card only title, though.
930.11.2020dinosaurjr6.0This is one of the best looking belts I've ever seen, but it's also (like a majority of new japan's belts) held back by very poor booking I wouldn't really mind if the belt was altogether retired

1107.10.2020Legend0039.0Für mich sicherlich der beste ? Midcard?

3830.10.2019ElPolloLoco7.0It used to be a very important title, made great chiefly by Nakamura and to a lesser extent Tanahashi. It was so important it even managed to give a tiny bit of credibility to Bad Luck Fale for holding it for a few months. Lately it has been chiefly used to give a title belt to Naito to keep fans from openly rioting but this meant the title itself has been dragged into Naito's disappointing booking, culminating with Taichi's latest idiotic push. The moment that guy challenged for the IC championship I had mental flashes of Madusa throwing that title in the garbage instead of her own WWE championship belt. White's present title reign is basically harmless, for the chief reason the damage has already been done. This title needs to be either retired or revitalized with a major reign because as things stands it overlaps with the NEVER Openweight title.

4024.09.2019zephyr5.0With the recent title unification rumors, I've thought about the IC title a lot and come to the conclusion that it's not actually a very good championship at all. Outside of being Nakamura's pet belt, this has seen pretty much no prestigious long-term champions at all and is sort of becoming the "you're not gonna win the IWGP Heavyweight Championship" title.

4504.07.2019PunchInTheNuts10.0Relatively recent title but already established as a greatly prestigious belt. Held mostly by upper-midcarders and top guys, so winning it is always a big deal. This championship is known for being made what it is today by Shinsuke Nakamura who is still the most iconic Intercontinental Champion but Tetsuya Naito has a great evolving relationship with this belt and will probably end up being at least as synonymous of the white belt.

5628.10.2018RatingsMachine9.0What started off as a midcard championship has evolved into being just a step below the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. It would rate a 10 but putting the belt on Jericho iced it for almost half the year, and its prestige has taken a slight hit as a result.

6220.08.2018BulletClubSmark9.0With Nakamura, this title was in the level of the IWGP Heavyweight Championship but since his departure, I think, the title lost some of its prestige. Naito, Omega and Tanahashi were good title holders but nothing compare to Shinsuke.

9913.03.2017ThatWrestlingGuy10.0Nakamura really helped elevate the Intercontinental belt during his title runs. Sometimes all it takes is for a big name to take a championship, and make it worth something. It reminds me of the WWE Intercontinental belt in the late 80s to mid 90s when you had future world champions holding the belt, and making it worth something.
