[10.0] "The PWG World Championship is the most prestigious title on the indies. Some of the best wrestlers of the 21st Century have held this belt. Bryan Danielson, AJ Styles, and Kenny Omega are all former PWG World Champions. Between 2012 and 2017, the title had some of the best reigns and defenses. Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, and Zack Sabre Jr. all proved why they were worthy of holding the belt. In 2011, the ladder match between Kevin Steen and El Generico at Steen Wolf is a prime example of the title's prestige. A more recent instance would be when Bandido defeated Cobb for the belt at The Makings of a Varsity Athlete. There is a reason why certain indie titles have come and gone but the PWG World Championship has remained in the spotlight."
[8.0] "The PWG title has long taken the ROH title's place as the most important singles title in American independent wrestling. That is quite the feat for a title that is rarely defended because the promotion it is part of only runs a handful of times a year. But that also speaks to the generally high calibre of both the wrestlers who hold the title and the title matches themselves."
[5.0] "I love PWG and ZSJr. Keith Lee, & Ricochet were great champions ( though the last 2 should have been longer), but I can't get over the fact that Chuck Taylor actually held the title twice. He's a good worker & entertaining, but i dont see him as World Champion material."

Nicht nur, dass der PWG World Title mit gerade mal 4 Regentschaften in 3 Jahren (Juli/17) ein sehr geschützter Titel ist, er wird auch noch von sehr guten Westlern gehalten, die immer super Matches liefern. Mit Strong hat man sehr gute Matches gegen Bailey und mit ZSJ ebenfalls sehr gute Matches mit diversen Gegnern gehabt. Ein Punkt Abzug, da Ricochet den Belt nie gehalten hat."

[10.0] "Der PWG World Title ist für mich so etwas wie der, wenn es um Matchqualität geht, der Prestigeträchtigste Titel im Indy Wrestling. Jeder Träger war wirklich gut und drückte dem Titel seinen eigenen "Flavour" auf. Dazu sind die Matches einfach immer auf Weltklasse Niveau."
[9.0] "Ein toller Titel mit klasse Titelträgern, die ihn dann auch meistens für längere Zeit halten dürfen. Ein derzeitiger Rekordtitelträger wie Kevin Steen/Kevin Owens ist auch angemessen und da er ihn auch nur 3x gehalten hat, bekommt umgekehrt jede Regentschaft eines anderen Wrestlers einen höheren Wert. Der einzige Kritikpunkt ist für mich, dass der Titel was die bisherigen Titelträger angeht, zu große Ähnlichkeit mit dem ROH World Title hat. Jener hatte mit Trägern wie Samoa Joe oder Nigel McGuinness noch irgendwie ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal. Dem PWG World Title fehlt irgendwie ein Wrestler, den man ganz unmittelbar mit diesen Titel in Verbindung bringt."

It hasn't been hotshotted around too much in recent years and strong title reigns from Roddy, O'Reilly, Cole have upheld its prestige, which is hugely important as PWG continues to grow in popularity."
[10.0] "One of my favorite wrestling championships. Everytime PWG World Championship is on the line, you have that "big fight feel" and usually get an excellent match as well. Some of the best PWG World Championship matches are, for an example, Bryan Danielson vs. Chris Hero, Roderick Strong vs. Zack Sabre Jr, Kevin Steen vs. El Generico etc. An amazing championship that represents an amazing promotion."
[10.0] "Best booked championship in 2013 and 2014 (better than RoH World Title) because every match had very high level. Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly was great champion's for me."

Adam Cole hat auch Joey Ryans Rekord als längster PWG World Champion überhaupt gebrochen. Für mich neben dem ROH World Championship aktuell einer der Titel im Amerikanischen Wrestling."
[7.0] "Sollte eigentlich California-Titel heißen, weil er bis jetzt nur da wechselte, aber ein paar kanadische Champs und ein Schweizer geben dem Ganzen wenigstens ein bißchen internationalen Anstrich."
[8.0] "Der Titel hat durchaus schon "Geschichte" geschrieben, und ich mag die Liga einfach. Die Matches um den PWG World Title sind sehr oft sehr schön anzusehen, weshalb ich dem Titel locker die 8 Punkte gebe."
[7.0] "Mit Hero und Danielson hat/hatte man zwei sehr gute, glaubwürdige Champions für diesen Belt und ich hoffe, dass Hero das mehr oder weniger aktuelle Pech um den Gürtel etwas bessern kann. Ein Titel, unter dem viele sehenswerte Matches und Title-Runs standen, allen voran die von Joey Ryan, aber die Verletzungsmisere 2008 hatte das Geschehen arg verlangsamt. Hoffentlich gehts wieder aufwärts!"
[9.0] "Gott sei Dank ist wenigstens der World Title von PWG keine heiße Kartoffel. Für 10 Punkte fehlen mir die wirklich denkwürdigen Regentschaften, aber einen schlechten oder unverdienten PWG Champion hat es noch nicht gegeben."
