302.08.20225nicoShuffle3.0Seemed to be trying to recreate ECW's Triple Threat in WCW, with remnants of The Four Horseman. Shane Douglas is usually good on promos, but him being the mouthpiece for them somehow didn't work, promos usually being very short & weak, the group eventually gained some edginess later on, which definitely helped, as they were very plain before. The team members whilst good hands, definitely were lacking motivation around this time. The Revolution mostly had low card feuds. Not a strong or memorable group to me.

518.07.2020DanTalksRasslin6.0A good idea for a stable, with three of the best technical wrestlers WCW had to offer at the time in Benoit, Malenko and Saturn, and a highly effective mouthpiece in Douglas (the group effectively being a reunion of the original ECW Triple Threat plus one). Their booking was less than ideal, though - they were often cast as heels, a role Douglas excels at but Benoit and Malenko not so much, and they ultimately didn't have much time to work with before Benoit, Malenko and Saturn walked to become three-quarters of the Radicalz in the WWF.

717.04.2017Devitciiu3.0What was it about 1999 WCW stables that should have been great but were terrible? The Revolution weren't the radicalz. They came across as whiny heels rather than badass competitors. Maybe its because they shouldn't have been heels. WCW needed a revolution in the summer of 99 and these guys should have lead it. Instead we got crappy stories the continued to hold down up and comers. Looking at where Saturn was in 98 and comparing it to 99, I just don't get why WCW didn't capitalize on the talent they built up. Great workers who banded together to do nothing.
