They didn't wow me much in the US, but their feud with the Steiners was an underrated gem. Wish they lasted about a couple of years longer, but with Gordy's health quickly declining, they understandably could go no more."

[5.0] "There were flashes of a great team. Both seemingly perfect for the time, perfect to team against each other. Gordy and Williams being the top foreign wrestlers not called Stan Hansen of their time. It should've been an all time run. But it's not. I can't say how many times I've been throughouly underwhelmed by the MVC. Like I said, there are signs of greatness. MVC do have some great matches like the 30/01/93 & 06/12/91 Misawa/Kawada matches plus the Steiner feud. But there are far too many matches marred by the MVC having crowd killing matches with aimless amateur wrestling holds that never go anywhere or inspire any emotion. The talent is there, the right opponents are there, the time period is there, the excecution isn't. If I have to say one good thing about the MVC, their WCW was very good and the highlight of their tag run."
[9.0] "The premier foreign tag team in All Japan for three years, the Miracle Violence Combination were one of the top foreign tag teams in Japanese wrestling, and Williams and Gordy both enjoyed singles success as well."
