[10.0] "Tag Team wrestling simply would not be the same without them. Watching these hosses work as a unit made me fall in love with the idea of tag team wrestling. I would like to go back and watch some more Steiner brothers matches just to fill this out more."

They were often too rough on enhancement talent which is never a good look (enhancement talent are there to make them look good the least they can do is not hurt the poor guys.) But there's a reason they were booked in all the top promotions at the time, as they kind were the definitive tag team at the time, and they still rank up there with the all time greats."

[10.0] "My top 3 Tag teams in no order is The Midnight Express (Lane/Eaton), Demolition (Eadie & Darsow), and THE STEINER BROTHERS. They offered the most watchable matches, with the most insane spots at the time. They kept (will keep) you 100% immersed and invested in every second. Their offense was a total game changer and The Frankensteiner was -->THE HOTTEST THING AT THE TIME<--. Outstanding chemistry with Doom, brought out the BEST of the Nasty Boys (you HAVE to watch their Halloween Havoc match before you die, preferably multiple times a year- every year) and they delivered the BEST squash matches. You have to see their top rope assisted bulldog & DDT's, completely insane and looked incredible. Their WWF run wasn't much to speak of, they did ok enough though... Mandatory viewing. you HAVE TO bear witness to The Steiner Brothers. Even if you don't like or care about what they did outside of the team (raises his hand) I can not recommend The Steiner Brothers enough. Tippy top tier tag team, it's get's "as good" but it doesn't get any better!"

It's too sad they sort of self-destructed in the late 90s, but make no mistake about it, before that they were simply the best tag team of their generation."

They had epic matches against the Road Warriors/Hell Raisers, Miracle Violence Connection, Money Inc, Nasty Boys, Arn Anderson and numerous partners, Sting and Luger, Numerous NJPW teams, Freebirds, Doom, Skyscrapers, Heavenly Bodies, Quebecers. They even had a short run in ECW (where Heyman kept the titles off of them and they worked mostly 6-man tags). The power and college background made them fantastic competitors. Being brothers made them the ultimate tag team for communication and teamwork."

There is a reason why so many wrestlers have emulated them because they were that great. It's a shame the ratings here don't do them justice."

[10.0] "Was, wenn nicht die Bestnote für vielleicht DAS amerikanische TagTeam der 90er Jahre? Die Steiner Brothers haben einfach alles weggerockt, egal ob in der WWF, der WCW, der NWA oder bei NJPW. Man muss sich nur die ganzen Titelgewinne des Teams ansehen, dann weiß man schon, dass diese beiden eine ganz große Nummer waren. Zu erwähnen wäre auch noch das geile Wrestlinggear der beiden, gigantisch :D"

Sie hatten grandiose Matches gegen Hase & Sasaki, Dr. Death & Terry Gordy und ihre Kurzfehde gegen Money Inc. gehört noch zu meinen Kindheitserinnerungen. Damals zählten sie zu meinen absoluten Lieblingen, ihre Erfolge sprechen für sich und alles was nach Scottys gefärbten Haaren passiert ist, kann die Note für mich nicht weiter runterziehen."

[8.0] "Früher hätte ich bedenkenlos 10 gegeben, aber dass sie es nochmal versucht haben in Japan und TNA anno 2008, nein dafür gehören sich Abzüge, 8 Punkte."

[9.0] "Als Team unheimlich erfolgreich und auch immer wieder sehenswert. Als Einzelwrestler konnte allerdings nur Scott halbwegs überzeugen."

[6.0] "Ich kenne nur ihre alten Matches und damals gefielen mir die Steiners schon nur sehr bedingt. Zu ihrer Zeit aber natürlich sehr over gewesen und Scott war damals wirklich stark im Ring."

[10.0] "Waren damals, als ich zum Wrestlingfan wurde (1993), mein absolutes Lieblings Tag-Team. Echt schade, was aus Scott geworden ist."

[10.0] "Das einzige Tag Team aus jener Zeit, dass international vergleichbar erfolgreich war wie L. O. D. Abgesehen davon sagten mir persönlich die Steiner Brothers mehr zu - deswegen für sie die volle Punktzahl."

[8.0] "Bevor Scott Steiner sich so aufgepumpt hat, war er in diesem Team richtig gut."

[9.0] "Haben während ihrer besten Zeit alles gewonnen, was es zu gewinnen gibt - und das auch vollkommen zurecht, denn sie waren auch technisch eines der besten Teams weltweit. Fast unglaublich, wenn man die Beiden heute sieht."

[8.0] "Ähnliche Typen wie die Hart Foundation. Der technisch gute Schwiegersohn und der Laute Panzer. Fand die beiden damals echt blöde, weil sie (bes. Scott) so verdammt glatt waren und ihre bunten Hosen haben nur genervt, aber rückblickend waren sie n sehr gutes tag Team und gehören auf eine Stufe mit den Road Warriors und Harts. Fand Rick aber mindestens gleichwertig und viel charismatischer."

[8.0] "Habe sie nur kurz in der WWF erlebt, empfand sie allerdings als geniales Tag-Team. Scott habe ich immer als den etwas besseren gesehen und Rick war halt ein schoener Brawler. Ausserdem hat mir der Frankensteiner gut gefallen, fand den damals genial. Als sie den Titel dann verloren haben, war ich richtig traurig :)"

[5.0] "Man muss deren Leistungen gerade in der frühen Zeit einfach anerkennen. Perfekte Tag Team Harmonie. Aber es gibt halt Leute, die man ohne wirkliche Begründung einfach nich mag/mochte."

[10.0] "Ich errinnere mich gerne an ihre Matches zurück. Vorallem ein Mach ist mir hängen geblieben. Hart Brothers vs Steiner Brothers. Schon alleine für dieses Match gibt es 10/10 Punkten. Leider ist vom damaligen Ringer Scott Steiner nur noch ein Muskelhaufen übrig der Bodyslams zeigen kann. Villecht hätten sie vor der Jahrtausendwende aufhören sollen. Die Bestnote vergebe ich für die gute alte Zeit. Sie haben es sich verdient."

[10.0] "Man muss sie nicht mögen. Ich selbst konnte die beiden als Tag Team eigentlich in keiner Liga ausstehen. Aber ich muss anerkennen, dass sie immer zu den Besten gehört haben. In Erinnerung bleiben einem vor allem die Matches bei New Japan. Deshalb ganz klar die Bestnote!"

[8.0] "Vor allem unvergessen durch ihr beiden WCW Runs und das Jahr 1993 in der Federation! Bei TNA aber nicht mehr das, was sie mal waren!"

[6.0] "Früher sicherlich Weltklasse, ab Ende der 90er jedoch maximal Durchschnitt."

[8.0] "Besonders zu Beginn ein klasse Tag Team. Als Scott noch vor Agilität spritze. Aber mal wieder: Mit den Mengen an Steroiden nahm die Klasse im Ring ab. Schade."

[6.0] "Früher gefürchtet und heute na ja ruhen sie sich auf ihren Erfolgen aus...."

[8.0] "TopTeam der WWF damals (abgesehen vom Outfit) mit sehr modernem Wrestling und einer Mischung aus Technik und Kraft - das war, auch wenn ich sie nicht leiden mochte - ein sehr gutes Team... was nach der WWF-Zeit kam, ist dann nicht mehr so berauschend (nur gut, dass Scott keine Muskelaufbaupräparate zu sich nimmt... ), somit auch nur ne 2..."

[6.0] "Als kleiner Mark in den 90ern meine absoluten Lieblinge im TagTeam-Bereich, aber wenn ich mir die beiden heute bei TNa angucke... Rick ist ja noch in Ordnung, aber Scott wäre mal lieber auf dem Teppich geblieben..."

[8.0] "Ohne Zweifel eines der bekanntesten und besten Tag Teams in der Geschichte. Weltweit erfolgreich gewesen, aber das ist alles Jahre her. Beide haben ihren Zenit nun längst überstritten."

[8.0] "Zu Beginn der 90er sicherlich das Nonplusultra der Tag-Team Szene weltweit. Der Mix aus Brawl (Rick) und Technik (Scott) war hervorragend, das Team war over und authentisch. Diverse WCW-Splits und Hormoncocktails später bleibt nur die Erinnerung an vergangene und bessere Zeiten ...."

[8.0] "In den Neunzigern neben den RoadWarriors das Paradeteam, an dem sich alle anderen messen mußten. Nach dem Jahrtausendwechsel stark abgefallen, blieben aber trotzdem Killertiere."

[8.0] "Die Steiners haben mir in der Zeit von 1993 bis Anfang 1998 am besten gefallen ... danach kam nichts gutes mehr ... trotzdem muß ich sagen die Steiners sind Kult!"

[8.0] "Ein sehr gutes Tag-team am Anfang, in der WWF, WCW und ECW, danach ging es ein wenig bergab."

[10.0] "ausgezeichnetes team, bestehend aus dem techniker scott & dem "facedog gremlin" rick. der frankensteiner ist seit jeher eine wunderschoen anzusehende aktion & die eigentlichen matches im regelfalle auch - zu frueheren zeiten wohlgemerkt! scott's faehigkeiten haben doch sehr unter dem muskelzuwachs gelitten & auch rick's skills sind bei weitem nicht mehr das non plus ultra. aber gut, aelter werden andere auch..."

[10.0] "Spitzen Tag Team, auch wenn im Singles Bereich später nur Scott überzeugen konnte."

[8.0] "Für mich das Tag Team überhaupt neben den Road Warriors. Sie haben immer gutes Team Wrestling gezeigt und selbst jetzt bei TNA zeigen sie noch gute Matches. Sie prägten das Tag Team Wrestling und waren sogar im Ausland äußerst erfolgreich. Zudem ist Scott's Frankensteiner ein echter Hingucker. Die Steiner Brothers sind Legende."
