1101.05.2023Chriswarrior1110.0Great Tag team that has come quer Japan and has let a mark over there. They have become one of the best Tag teM of the world give us the fans great battles with other great teams. They combine with each other well and have done super as heels and now as babyfaces.
1224.04.2023benh25.0At times played the gaijin tag team role pretty well but Tama has since shown the team was holding him back a bit. A great look but the matches were often snoozefests.

1419.02.2023Brutish Dandy6.0They're decent. NJPW's biggest weakness has always been their heavyweight tag team division. I appreciate the work they've put in and the dedication they've shown to the craft of tag team wrestling, but like every team in that division they're just kinda there to fill space. I cannot list a single match of theirs off the top of my head.

3513.02.2021killowenskill0.0Everything connected with them irritates me. They aren't like some completely incompetent dudes who don't know how to do anything and interfere with any match, no. They have an understanding of how wrestling works, they have a structure that they follow, but they don't change, they don't improve, they have reached a specific level and just stopped there. Tama and Tanga are two idiot brothers who have fun all the time, don't take anything seriously, and sometimes make fun combinations, diluting the matches and making them look good when viewed in highlights. But this is not the kind of personality that I would like to observe. They don't grow up as wrestlers, but when they face other heavyweights, we see an extremely disgusting "equal" battle, when Tama's cheap tricks allow him to deceive really smart and experienced guys, and the disgusting Loa acts as a machine that can seriously arrange a tank battle with the conditional Ishii and defeat him in it. The cherry on the cake is a nasty choreography that kills all the seriousness that can be in a match. You'd have to be real wrestling geniuses, like Zack and Taichi, for me to have a little fun with these two clowns. Why they get all the privileges is the main mystery of the New Japan. But looking at how bad the tag team division is, you know whose fault it is.

4516.02.2020ElPolloLoco8.0Typical very very good brother and brother tag team. Both men are amazingly gifted athletes and while they may not be the best in-ring workers they will always (always) work very hard to give the fans at least an enjoyable match. Tama Tonga is obviously more interested in the pro-wrestling business than Tanga Loa, but the latter has worked hard to improve himself and become if not a great in-ring technician at least an enjoyable tag team specialist. Their only problem is NJPW shrinking roster forced several painful choices upon the bookers, one of which has been to effectively sacrifice the tag team division, leaving GOD to have meaningless title matches against throwaway tag teams. But when facing a proper tag team they are perfectly up to the task: see their excellent 2019 feud with the Briscoes.

4904.12.2019Madcat9.0You really do have bad taste if you can't take anything out of GOD. Tama Tonga is one of the best defensive wrestlers in NJPW, put together with his insane charisma in ring and off ring and you have yourself a pretty damn good underrated worker, Tanga Loa is the downgraded version of Tama tbh but even so he's still a great worker and for a tag team I have absolutely no complaints out of him. Could they be better wrestlers? Sure, but I still value them as the best tag team in NJPW over work ethic and charisma alone, it's never a boring time when you're watching a GOD match, and even if it's not individual quality levels of Evil and Sanada, the tag team levels of fun and entertainment are, in my opinion, better. Can't get a 10 because there are better tag teams out there, Usos, Revival, Young Bucks, etc, but a 9 is fair.

5326.09.2019zephyr5.0I assume they're mostly kept around for Tama's loyalty to New Japan. One 6/10 wrestler and one 4/10 wrestler work together to make a pretty average team.

5815.06.2019Kingtaeyeon7.0Tama is LEAGUES better than Tanga Loa and it's 100% obvious. If Tanga was better I'd give them an 8 for charisma alone but Tanga is a terrible seller and brings their overall down

6510.11.2018KING8.0One of the best tag teams in the game today, they didn't start well because if taken as single performers they're nothing special (especially Tanga Loa), but once they found the formula they became pretty entertaining, they're surely better than Anderson & Gallows in the ring and they hide each other's limit, their work with War Machine and Briscoes is good as well as their match with the Young Bucks, sure they got carried but they did their part and they have tons of charisma and attitude.

7129.03.2018Dragon Fighter6.0A pretty solid tag team overall. They were absolutely awful when tanga loa debuted in 2016. It took a decent time for them to get a really good tag match ( at Power struggle 2016 ) and they really improved since then. Tama is definitely better when he does tag team matches than he was at solo. Loa is pretty okay now way better than his early 2016 run which was total shit. These 2 are pretty cool with character work but never do anything off the chart great in the ring.

7427.12.2017koolgirl9.0This Bullet Club off-shoot have become a great team in their own right, thoroughly enjoyed their matches with War Machine earlier in the year. It's proved to be a great vehicle for Tama Tonga who's been able to show off more character and Loa is coming along pretty nicely as well. They also have my favourite entrance theme in wrestling at the moment, it's badass.

7810.09.2017Justt7.0They are in the top 20 of the best tag teams in the world right now, with no doubt. They work really well and had good matches in the past. Tanga Roa is a "meh" wrestler but Tama can carry him in tag matches.

3 Punkte.

8309.03.2017TheWrestlingFan9.0Vastly improved as a tag team. I wasn't sold on them when they started teaming up, but as the time goes by they've been putting great tag team matches lately, such as against Makabe & Honma and War Machine.
8407.03.2017craigoh8.0improved so fast from where they were 12 months ago - honestly up there in my Favourite current tag teams - Tama Tonga is seriously underrated in New Japan as the guy can go and put on a hell of a performance and Tanga Roa is certainly getting better and better each match he does - together they have some really good tag team chemistry and put on good, entertaining matches added with the fact that the sheer volume of swear words these two blurt out in a match is hilarious (Its like a Tarantino movie there's so many). overall an entertaining team to watch and far, far better then they were 12 months ago.

8712.01.2017bodonium8.0Ever since their match with Ishii and Yoshi-Hashi, this team has done nothing but improve. Used to dread their matches but now I find myself actually looking forward to them. Can't wait to see what they'll do in 2017, especially with KES back in NJPW.

9307.12.2016arrancar5.0When they were first brought to NJPW they were pretty terrible. Tanga Loa couldn't work at all and was really just dragging down an already disappointing Tama Tonga. Their chemistry was abysmal and their 'creepy islander' gimmick was more comedic than it was intimidating. However, over their last few NJPW ppv appearances this team has been getting better and better. They started making better use of their tag team chemistry and have actually produced quite a few entertaining spots and sequences now. They look MUCH more comfortable in the ring now and have been creating much more interesting stories in their matches, especially when they were up against the team of Ishii and Yoshi-Hashi; the bruiser and the underdog, which made for a LOT of tension and excitement with lots of power moves, hope spots, and nearfalls. I am still very disappointed that they are the IWGP Tag Team Champions, but I do now see their value as a tag team in NJPW. If they can continue being booked strongly (although not at the top of the tag division, preferably) and continue developing their tag team chemistry then I can definitely see them becoming one of the more entertaining teams in NJPW.
9404.12.2016sebi258.0Nettes Tag-Team und solide, wenn auch nicht "würdige" Nachfolger von Gallows & Anderson im BULLET CLUB.
