1 | 29.08.2022 | greaterdale | 8.0 | This was quite good! A lot of the matches were solid 7/10s with two matches 8/10 or above. The match of the dvd for me was Jon Moxley & Sami Callihan vs. Daisuke Sekimoto & Yuji Okabayashi and I think y'all should go out of your way to watch it. Jon Moxley & Sami Callihan vs. Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards was quite good too, but not as good as Moxley and Callihan vs Daisuke Sekimoto and Yuji Okabayashi which preceded it. It was also cool to see a Moxley Callihan vs Young Bucks match, which the young bucks were selling a lot during, so hopefully that can end the "The Young Bucks can't sell" opinion I see so often, though I imagine that's not going to stop that crowd. The Jon Moxley vs Rico Bushido was a very strange choice for the last match on the DVD, and was the worst match on the video. I thought it was a little strange how often Moxley lost on this DVD, but I suppose you should be putting the best matches on here, not just the ones Moxley won. Also you might all call me a fangirl for this, but I'm really proud of how far Moxley has come since this set. He's won multiple world titles in America's top 2 promotions, including being the first 2 time AEW world champion. That's not to undersell the importance of wXw but he's worked huge arenas since those days and has become one of the top wrestlers around. Moxley fans should check out this DVD set if possible because its excellent watch and fun to see his pre WWE/AEW years. |
