[0.0] "Never would I give a wrestler a 0 unless they ABSOLUTELY deserve it (even wrestlers I dislike both personally and professionally don't often get a 0). But, Tyrus is a really fitting candidate for being an imperfect 0. I'm not going to take into account his political views (because I'm not as politically charged as some are in the IWC), but I will take into account his whole entire (well, not everything but to sum up) professional wrestling career, which was absolutely atrocious. I can see why he was a comedy act in WWE as he has literally zero skills in the ring, can't talk on the mic to save his career, and just looked absolutely bad in every category, this was even more so the case when NWA management thought "Hmmm, maybe this guy Tyrus looks good as the world champion" and did exactly just that. Easily the worst world champion in any promotion in the 21st century and there is a very "strong" list of contenders for that debate. His final match was against EC3, a wrestler who had potential years ago but has completely fallen off as well, but he's still miles ahead of Tyrus at everything in wrestling, that match was the drizzling shits! Tyrus is probably the least mobile wrestler I've ever seen as well. Tyrus was a complete failure as a singles wrestler and this rating is justifiable enough in that regard."

Now would be the time for him to focus on storytelling and building to bigger spots, instead he's trying to have the same matches at a fraction of the speed and none of the effort."

The world needs a lot more people like Titus O'Neil. But his ability as a professional wrestler was even worse than the Ultimate Warrior. Lacked any kind of charisma, which would have been his saving grace given his ability to wrestle. His tag team run with Darren Young was alright, but that's only because the latter carried the team in-ring wise."

Hes talking about beer half of the time and screaming randomly for no reason. I really think hes illiterate. Hailing from a legendary wrestling lineage, Jesse inherited both the talent and the determination to succeed. His matches are a spectacle of strength, agility, and showmanship. White's transition from the NFL to the ring was seamless, thanks to his natural athleticism and dedication. Jesse White is a force to be reckoned with, and his legacy in the squared circle is one that will endure for generations."

His victory over the more deserving Brian Cage was a slap in the face to wrestling purists. Bradley's lackluster in-ring performance and uninspiring persona have failed to leave a lasting impression on audiences. His career has been marked by mediocrity, and his time in the spotlight seems to be fading fast. Until this day i'm asking myself what the f is a boomstick. [0.0] "He ranks at a zero for me because he fails to be a good pro wrestler due to many factors. The first factor is his lack of selling. I know selling has changed and looked different throughout the years, however in moments he is supposed to sell he looks bored and out of the moment. Another factor to consider is all of his matches look the same. He does the same exact spots every match then adds a crazy bump to separate them from each other. I think he is all fireworks and no story. This is just my personal opinion, I just see a wrestler that is meant for clips. This isn't new from Ospreay, I have felt this way from him since I first saw him in the Super Juniors Final in 2015 against Ricochet. Some other factors to consider is how bloated his matches are, lack of storytelling and control segments are weak"

Unfortunately some idiots like Santino Marella want to save his image, and now he seems to be wrestling in some terrible canadian indy promotions where nobody seems to care about him. Not the biggest fall from grace I've seen but it honestly sucks people still trying to use him to get themselves noticed. Even as an active wrestler he was okay, I think the only thing I really liked was the weird bird sounds. The UK indy boom helped him get noticed but he always seemed the week link in the bullet club or the elite so its not a suprise AEW didn't pick him up."

He has nothing special to offer and kindly ask other reviewers to give a good moment in his career. Johnny Yuta was obscure back in his CWFH run where he was decent later on at the commentary desk. He is decent at calling the program without being a focal point in the broadcasted show. But his NWA is unwatchable, Tyrus is badly worse than him but I think he is better off being just a regular person who makes appearances not as a full time wrestler."

If I am sitting there transfixed by every nuance, rewinding almost every spot, you get a 10 and your name is maybe Eddie Guerrero, Cowboy Scott Casey or perhaps Rey Mysterio in '96. He was never any good and the only time he was mildly entertaining was when he was dancing. There's nothing he does in the ring that's worth watching. He's a terrible big man by any standard. Vader and Bam Bam were also big but they were athletic. Tyrus in his prime could barely move. His NWA title reign will go down as one of the worst, if not THE worst, in the history of wrestling. Yes, worse than David Arquette because he was famous at the time and in my opinion has since made up for it with his hard work."

He had less than no charisma, he couldn't talk, he was slow, prone to botches and despite his size he couldn't wrestle his way out of a paper bag. He was like an awkward circus attraction at best. If it were a pure work-rate grade, he'd get a 4.0, since he is bland but competent at performing moves. Wrestling is more than that though. It's about creating entertainment, and telling stories through the medium of a fight. The only story EVIL can tell is "Wrestling is stupid, none of this matters, and you are stupid for investing in it." HoT is in the process of ruining NJPW pro-wrestling by rendering huge chunks of matches meaningless, as nothing before the mass run-in matters. EVIL is the worst member of the faction. He is both pushed as the leader of the faction, and the least interesting and charismatic member of the group. The only reason she received so much air time is because she looks good because she sure as hell couldn't wrestle her way out of a paper bag and she was also a botch machine. His run as general manager was unwatchable and one of the worst storylines from probably the worst period of WWE's history. Also, the recent Grant lawsuit/allegations have exposed him as a truly soulless monster on top of his already numerous personal failings. I can't thing of a vaguely good thing this guy has done in the past 20+ years."

[0.0] "There's no bigger example of a case where we should ask ourselves the philosophical question of "should we separate the art from the artist? " than Vince McMahon. On one hand he created the most influential professional wrestling show in the world, a show which influenced wrestlers everywhere. On the other hand he's a predator who even seeped some of his perverted fantasies into storylines especially during the 2000s years where he would force women to makeout with him on live TV. He was a sick pervert and a net negative to the women's division. But aside from all that Vince McMahon was also pretty difficult to rate because he wasn't really a wrestler. He was the chairman of the WWE. He was incredibly good on the mic and an incredible actor though."

[0.0] "I don't really know what to rate him. 2024 edit: Now it's easy. His idea to make wrestling a big mainstream spectacle helped shape wrestling into what it is today. To say otherwise is arguing in bad faith. There's also plenty of stories from wrestlers themselves about him coming up with an idea for a character that worked. All of the best ideas either came from someone else, (Pat Patterson creating and naming the Royal Rumble, Howard Finkel coining the name Wrestlemania, etc.) , the evil on screen boss, done by Bischoff two years earlier, the hardcore matches and no filter came from ECW, hell, even the concept of the big event had nothin to do with Vince. Dusty Rhodes invented Starrcade, War Games, and Great American Bash. Vince had the clout and exposure to make those ideas work for WWE while peddling them as his own. Without his sleazy and predatory behavior, that would probably get him a 3-5 rating from me. However, in light of what we know there's no separating "art from the artist" especially since Vince McMahon took already established wrestlers in 1983-84 and then again in the late-90's. Only to complain when WCW did it right back to him in the mid-90's. He deserves nothing but bad outcomes for the rest of his life."

Despite being given ample time to train before wrestling live he made no progress in training and years after being signed wrestled on NXT's Great American Bash PPV in 2023 where he was so bad that he got booed despite being the face. This is what happens when you sign people who have no business being pro wrestlers, and not every amaeteur wrestler can be a pro wrestler and it doesn't do this guy justice that despite being a terrible pro wrestler he has a history of assault charges. [0.0] "He was a good manager, once upon a time, forty years ago. And ol' Jimmy has decided that's his meal ticket and has shown no evolution in either his booking style or his opinions since then. It's 2024, Jim, things have moved on. And just like Brazil don't play a 4-2-4 nor Pittsburgh playing the ol' Curtain defence, so too do the philosophies of the 1980s stay stagnant in this industry. McMahon and Bischoff saw the writing on the wall and tried to evolve for the tastes of Gen X and beyond, but Cornette never did, and SMW feels quaint and outdated even from a 90s perspective. And that was thirty years ago! As every year ticks on, Cornette becomes more and more like Abe Simpson being the old man yelling at a cloud. Maybe that's why he had that sojourn with NWA recently; Corgan really loves his nostalgia throwbacks, and what's more nostalgic than Jimmy? But said sojourn exposed a deep rotten personal core about Cornette. Because yes, while some people on the centre-left praised him for being a Democrat in the South, the fact remains is that he is, well, a Democrat in the South. And that definitely shows throughout his career. I mean, seriously, who, even in the mid-1990s, would think for one second that a man wearing the Confederate flag should be wrestling as a face! ? And yet, he booked it that way. And as the years have gone by, his curmudgeonliness has only exacerbated. Like many people in the industry who have refocused themselves as, to excuse my Irish, professional gobshites, there is a distinct sense of nastiness and jealousy that neither Tony Khan nor Triple H will give him a paycheck for existing, and it manifests in misogyny and racism as deep as his bones. Seriously, just listen to him talk about any joshi talent, despite the fact they could run circles around his presentation any day of the week. But you could almost excuse that if it wasn't for the cult of personality the man has. An army of sycophants as deeply unpleasant as him with no indication of independent thought, spreading like a cancer through the IWC. I could never hear from or of Cornette and it'd be too soon."

Chris was without a doubt one of the greatest technical wrestlers in the history of the sport, I loved watching him every time he was on TV. But it is obvious that although he has enjoyed such a prestigious career, it is a career that does not deserve recognition after the events. Many fans are willing to forgive instances of racism, discrimination, bigotry, bullying, and even dangerous egos that destroy the careers of other athletes, but murder is something that should never be on this list. It's a shame that such a talented wrestler ended up descending down a dangerous path that sooner or later would lead him to commit such heinous crimes, but just thinking about the news makes my blood run cold and thinking about the family affected by this individual, it's something that just isn't forgotten inside and outside the ring"

Also, I may have been 9, but I know for a fact that this dude was not winning 100+ matches before he faced Hogan at the Georgia Dome. Dude would concuss himself before every entrance by smashing his forehead into his locker until he was bloody (which, Sandman did better), he ended Bret Hart's career, he almost killed Scott Steiner at Fall Brawl 2000 (which, Steiner had every right to beat Goldberg's ass until the bell with receipts and just straight shooting on him)... She really didn't seem to have any role except to cut in here and there and has only won 3 matches with 2 of them being in matches where Chad and Otis did the heavy lifting for her. She may be attractive, but when you take away her managing style, you are left with less than nothing. She's very uncertain on her feet and thinks Chad's stupid "shush" gimmick is fun. It's annoying, stupid, and makes the 2 of them look like idiots. She needs to find her own character and build upon it. I know she's had less than a year, but I've seen other rookies who are very green get over organically or get over due to who they're siding with. Alpha Academy is NOT it. You have a former 24/7 hunter, an undersized kinda Olympian, and a rotund comedy guy. So, she's the "woman" and nothing else. She should either find a new faction (maybe Chase U.) or go back to NXT and train more. I'm sure there's something to be found, but right now, I would need a microscope to see it."

However, the one thing that inspired me to write this review are his three counts when a guy seems to be unconscious. He raises the arm, lets it fall, dramatically yells out "ONE" and then does the thing over and over again. It's impossible to suspend your disbelief that way and it makes the submission move look super dorky."

What makes a good wrestling match, in my mind, is when the wrestlers put on a performance that makes it believable that they actually want to hurt each other. In the case of Orange Cassidy, everyone he loses to looks terrible because they were somehow unable to pin someone down for three seconds when he had his hands in his pockets for most of the match. Comedy wrestling can be good when the person working the gimmick is an actual underdog, but not when they are winning week in and week out. In every Orange Cassidy match the joke is actually on the audience, the message being conveyed is "look how phoney we can make this and you chumps won't change the channel." If I attended an indie show, and was one of 30 total people in the crowd and this was the slop they expected to shovel down our throats I would want my money. I don't hate the actual person, he is making a living and doing the things that a certain segment of the wrestling audience wants to see. Just keep it off of my TV, thank you."

He absolutely did book a couple shows that were actually good, and he did always make sure everyone on the roster had something to do. That being said, he didn't understand wrestling in its basic fundamentals, and most of his story lines were in poor taste at best. I understand 25 years ago was a very different time than it is now, and during that time sexism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, drag-bashing, racism, and honestly any form of bigotry wasn't taken as seriously as it is now, and was used for comedic effect or something along those lines, but considering it wasn't even good back then, I think it's fair for me to put serious criticism on the man for incorporating that so much, especially towards his bashing of women in storylines. It's not a coincidence how many times he's painted women as liars of abuse and pregnancies, as well as being unfaithful. Asides from how deeply offensive a lot of his booking was in that aspect, he also quite literally didn't understand what makes wrestling actually captivating. Take a look at his WCW work for instance, where every match on the show contained a ref bump, interference on top of interference, constant bending to flat out breaking of the rules, and nonsensical booking in terms of who goes over who, without any form of consistency or flow. Gimmick matches should be a special occasion, not something that takes a majority of the show's card. Asides from his awful booking and writing, he was also a damn terrible character. His in-ring work is also incredibly dull, lots of crappy looking holds, basic moves and a lack of fluidity that makes him just so boring. IRS was a shit gimmick and you cannot convince me otherwise, how this man gave us Bray Wyatt is beyond me, with his captivating drawl that drew in wrestling fans young and old, with such a creative mind that really thought outside of the box about what wrestling can present (RIP), and even Bo Dallas was charismatic (I still Bo-lieve)"

And when it comes to her in-ring work it is horrible, littered with botches and miscommunications. In the Royal Rumble she botched just about every spot she had. In the tag match with Akira Tozawa vs Ivar and Valhalla the most memorable moment was her botching a move in the corner. she should be sent back to NXT and learn and get better or go back to being a manager"

Doing the "I'm crazy" circling hand gesture, sticking your tongue out, and jumping from heights doesn't make you good or interesting. He's the epitome of doing moves just to do them. He also can't cut a good promo and if the reports are to be believed, is a a manchild behind the scenes as well. He's severely injured both Matt and Jeff Hardy, made his private life public and then asked for privacy in his new relationship while also making that public as well. He has negative charisma and should be released."

[2.0] "One of the most unlikeable wrestlers I've ever seen. His best matches are him receiving a pasting by the other guy and his worst matches are when I'm supposed to root for him. I just can't do it. He's such a vile man. His offense is insane but it's tainted cause I can't enjoy any of it because of the person performing. Sometimes if you turn your brain off it's cool though. The man should be a contender at best and never hold the gold of a promotion. He's too unreliable and also not very bright. He's had plenty of good matches but those are less common nowadays. Bad wrestler overall. I think the real reason why I dislike Will is because like MJF I never feel an authentic aura of someone wrestling in a struggle but rather a person playing a performative piece. As an example Terry Funk I believe when he wrestled he was crazy, but with Will, I don't get any of that just some dummy doing cool moves and giving weird facials. I know he can sell and work over a limb and he's fine doing those things, but as time has gone on and he's been put in more positions of power in different companies with no one to correct him I feel he's gotten even more performative."
