I was at the Cassandro Cup II last night and after his crushing win over Billy Dixon three things happened: a child cried, an audience member ran into the ring and had to get taken outside by the refs, and one of Faye Jackson's friends had to get stopped from going into the ring to fight him and kept calling him a bitch. I've never seen a reaction like that, to anyone. People really fucking hate this dude. Like, people really really hate him. He's probably about as over as a heel as anyone could possibly be. His wrestling is whatever, it's fine I guess? I don't have a strong opinion about it, but like, one of the most hated men in the indies fr. |

He isn’t just in my favorites list of current independent workers, he is inching ever so closer up my list of favorite wrestlers period. I love just about everything surrounding the man. I love how well he pulls off the rich man gimmick to where you genuinely believe he is wealthier than you. I love how he gives off the air of a man who knows pro wrestling and is a student of the game. I love how well he can cut a promo in that classic Nick Bockwinkel style of being clear, concise, and uses big words to make him look smarter. I love his crowd working skills, getting the crowd to boo the hell out of him and cheer whoever he faces by default. I love his in-ring talent with a more minimalist approach, making the big moves bigger by comparison. His match with Fred Yehi at “March to Victory” is one I’d recommend that showcases all his talents. Darius Carter is a wrestler who could work in any area you put him in and I reserve that moniker for very few people. Simply put, Darius Carter is a man I will be furious about if he doesn’t become a star in the future. He has the skills to back it up. He just needs the chance. |

He definitely has a fleshed-out character, and he owns his gimmick (sometimes a bit too much), but he needs a lot of work technically. He's kind of flat to watch once the match begins and the microphone is dropped. He does show promise on his promo skills, and if he wants to, I believe he can improve, but as of right now, I am not impressed. Also, as far as interacting with the crowd, he uses the same base insults at every promotion, so fans who attend multiple shows get bored with him very quickly. |

His personality (that of an indie wrestler who personally believes and really wants YOU to believe that he's a millionaire) is unique. His mic skills could use just a little bit of improving, but I see great things in this guy's future, and that he will one day become a millionaire for real. |
