[8.0] "First things first; the man has aged absurdly well, especially for a pro wrestler! Whatever Brunzell's secret is, it needs to be bottled and sold! 80's technician who was silky smooth and had virtually no limitations... well, except he did not have the capability to go heel and... someone once said he had the personality of a doorknob and that is not totally inaccurate. Had a spectacular dropkick and displayed a deep pool of offense, great in ring facial expressions and could make a match compelling regardless of pace. Notable team with B Brian Blair, where you were assured a watchable match. While he is no Ricky Steamboat, I still list him as one of the great pure baby faces, down to his usually colorful ring attire. 7.5 rounded up."

[7.0] "Jim Brunzell was a very good wrestler for his time period. He was a very athletic and had good technical abilities. He was best as a tag team specialist with the Killer Bees. He didn't stand out on the mic."

[6.0] "Brunzell had one of the best dropkicks in the business. He is also one half of Killer Bees with B. Brain Blair, the team had some nice moves, but honestly, they existed in a time when Cam-Am Connection, The Young Stallions, and Strike Force were red-hot babyface teams. Probably too many babyface tag teams. Brunzell had some strong offense moves in his matches and his selling was great as well."

[6.0] "One half of the Killer Bees with B. Brian Blair, he started out as a member of the High Flyers with Greg Gagne in the AWA. I feel like The Bees should have had the WWF tag team championships for a short run at some point, but it never happened. Their main feud was with the Hart Foundation and Brunzell was a fun high flyer and had a terrific drop kick."

[5.0] "The best drop kick of the 80's. Came to the WWF and got over pretty well with Brian Blair as part of the Killer Bees, but once they broke up he just fell into obscurity and was treated as a jobber that the crowd didn't care about anymore. Not good on promos or much character."

[7.0] "His stock went higher with the High Flyers stuff and singles matches in AWA. I wish there was more available of his MId-Atlantic run circa 79-80, to we could see him in matches against a wider variety of opponents. Really good tag worker and loved his matches with Adonis and Bock."

[10.0] "Very athletic in the ring. He was exciting to watch with his high flying moves. The sad thing is he did not have much success as singles competitor. He was more of a tag team specialist. Most of his successful was in AWA with Greg Gagne as the High Flyers. In WWF he was remembered as one half of the Killer Bees with Brian Blair. He jobbed in WWF from 1989-1993. It was sad to see him go like this. Underrated wrestler!"
